1. Every single person in this hotel was super friendly, always ready to help. 2. Location is in 5 minutes walking from Taksim square and Istiklal street. 3. I asked them to choose a high level room, so they booked for me a room at level 8 with outdoor terras and jacuzzi. It was wonderful. 4. Super clean, they changed the sheets and towels, and organized the mess of our room each day.. Recommended for everyone going to Istambul. Of course I will book it again.

The breakfast is very basic, but tastes good. The breakfast area is very small, and no windows or balconies. The surrounding was very noisy, in this never sleeping city, so the chilling at the terras was not that calm.

The location of the hotel is very good- it is near the TAXIM metro station, tram and busses. It is very close to a pedestrian area- with shops and lovely caffees. The room was spatious, nice decorated and with a very comfortable bed :) The breakfast was quite good, but I would prefer more turkish bread and meze.

The street is quite dirty. The flooring of the rooms should be changed because it makes the room look very old. The breakfast could be more turkish (because you expect that when you come to Turkye), I would suggest not to give salads with mayo, but more fresh vegetables, fruits, and Turkish bread (including flat ones too).

For those who want to be in the center of happenings, this is the right hotel, 5 minutes walking from Istiklal Street and 25 from Galata Tower. As someone who travels often, I have never seen such a polite and welcoming hotel staff as this one. The staff is extremly positive and always ready to help. They gave as an upgrade room free of charge. The room was cleaned everyday. Towels, shampoos&shower gels were daily extra added. Breaksfast is also very nice..different food for everyone's taste. The only thing that bothered me is the sound of prayer in the middle of the night. It is not too loud, but for those who are senstive when sleeping, can be a little bit bothering. To put that aside.. probably the best hotel I have ever been too! I warmly recommend!

location was good - very central in taxim. staff were helpful and room very clean.

bfast was quite depressing and disappointing. plenty of places to have a proper bfast outside of the hotel.

- The staff are great! The manager is also nice and supportive. He is a man with experience in this business and helped me for everything even for contacting the airline about my flight. - The cleanliness was great also! - Despite a lot of other hotels close to Taxim Square which there are a lot of noise around in the hotel even at the midnight, this hotel has a calm and relaxing environment.

I wouldn't say that I don't like the breakfast and internet connection. They are actually good, but can be improved as well. Not sure if the internet connection could get better though, since it seems that in most places at Istanbul you can't get high speed connection.

the room was very good for the three of us , though Istanbul hotel rooms are small . rooms need some renovations , but its clean and comfy and a very good good value for what we paid . Its family run hotel .. Hakan was always a great help .. Batouhan , Yalmaz .. very nice people. we felt like home . what ever we asked Hakan was provided by him .. we liked our stay there .

The hotel is very close to taxim center. Clean and comfortable. Very nice for the money you pay. If you are looking for luxury, this is not for you. Breakfast is simple and normal. Nothing fancy but it sure is clean and sufficient. Staff was very friendly and helpful. To be honest about it. It is not fancy by any means but more like a family hotel. I have been in much better and worst, but here you feel comfortable and well liked...and this is my opinion...

Right in the city centre, very close to Taksim square. Taksim Camii Mosque, Cable Car, restaurants, Shopping mall, Trampoline park (for kids) in walking distance. Proximity to Galata tower and Bosphorus strait sea front. Very neatly maintained rooms with great air conditioning and comfortable beds. Tasty breakfast with authentic Turkish cuisine, variety of coffees, tea, biscuits and fruits. Super quick service to the room by very helpful hosts. Low cost pickup and drop-off for the airport.

If you are looking for a 5 star hotel with a pool, gym and luxurious glow then you are in the wrong place. Also if you came to Istanbul to spend time in a hotel, then you missed the trip. Istanbul is an amazing and special city, full of life and energy that offers a handful of adventures and attractions. You need a good hotel with a good location and good traffic connections. Hotel Taximist is ideal for getting to know and exploring Istanbul. Location is perfect!!! Only 400-500m away from the Taxim square and metro station as well as Istiklal street-famous walking area. Amazing hotel staff!!! I am pretty sure that you will not find better in Istanbul 😊 We had an perfect room with spacious balcony and we enjoyed mornings coffees with Istanbul views. Room was spacious and very clean. I don’t have even one objection. We will come back!

The location is good but the way down the hill to the hotel was hard with a stroller Other than that everything was perfect
