Location in city center. 5 minutes walking from Blue Mosque.

Before paying, you should be sure not to have room 101, a semi-basement room with 4 beds, strange bathroom with weird smell and always leaking shower cabin. This room does not have photos on Booking, so be aware. Also being near the hotel entrance you could definetly hear everyone entering or exiting, slamming the door.

It was perfect place to choose close .close to blue mosque Great Hotel, Exceptionally Friendly and Helpful People, Central Location I travel to Istanbul a lot, and oftentimes it is hard to find great property to stay. This time we went for the Summer Break vacations with family and friends, and our stay at Galaxy Hotel was great: -- All our requirements re beds configurations (couples, families, etc) were met to the point! Many thanks! -- Great rooms. Also, hotel upgraded several of our rooms free of charge. No problem with early check-ins either! -- Hotel Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, Especially AHEAD.All recommendations for restaurants, etc. were excellent, no upsells - just great value! They went above and beyond with all of our needs and requests! -- Hotel Staff organized all airport transfers for us: they saved us a lot of time and hustle by arranging a bus for us instead of taxis. -- The location is very central, few minutes walk to all attractions (Blue Mosque, Hippodrome, Palace, Basilica Cistern, etc.) -- Generous, tasty breakfast. Unlike many other places, I was offered excellent Turkish coffee free of charge :) -- small things that go a very long way :)

EVERY thing was clean and tidy great Location.

The location is perfect- just a few minutes away from the Blue Mosque, and a few more minutes to the Hagia Sophia. There are numerous great restaurants in the area, and you can see both the Blue Mosque and the Hagia Sophia from the room windows. The hotel owner was a really amazing host- he gave great recommendations for dinner spots and was overall very accomodating, open, and helpful.

The room we were given was all the way on the topmost floor- and because there is no elevator, this means lots and lots of steps. Some people in our group struggled with this, and you could not just pop back in if you left something. It would have been nice to have been forewarned, as it would have been a real issue if someone who was unable to walk up that many stairs had planned a stay at the hotel. Additionally, the tea kettle in the room was not usable as it was really dirty. The floor was a bit dusty as well, but mostly the room was clean.

I recently stayed at the hotel and had a generally positive experience. Ahmet , the man responsible for the hotel, was extremely helpful and kind and assisted us with many things, making our stay more comfortable. The accommodation itself was good value for the price. One of the highlights was the studio's sea view; it was very close to the sea, which was lovely.

Nothing. however, I should mention that the hotel was quite far from the nearest transportation method approximately 13 minutes walk.

Ahmet was always very responsive

Arrived without knowing the door pin, waiting outside for 30 minutes with a baby in lap sleeping. They should have told the pin so we could at least get in. Also, the 501 entrance door was very low as well as sloppy back in the room, we kept bumping our heads, and the safety sign and warning should have helped.

Mr Ahmed is a wonderful person. He helped me a lot. Giving directions, suggesting a very good place for dinner. And parking spot as well. The location is perfect. Walking distance to Blue Mosque & Hagia Sophia. The view from balcony is awesome. Value for money. Definitely will come back.

Stairs. Because I don't like stairs. If you don't mind stairs, there will be no problem, no complaint at all.

Great location, next to restaurants and close to the Suptanahmet square, Blue Mosque and Agia Sophia.The staff is friendly and open to helping with suggestions fir restaurants, cafe. It's also close to the promenade bt the water. I strongly recommed it to peiolw willing to explore the old part of Istanbul. I would chose it all over again for my next stay in Istanbul.

My stay at Galaxy Hotel Sultanahmet surpassed all expectations. The convenient location near key landmarks made exploring the city effortless. The hotel's elegant interior exuded a warm charm, and the friendly owners made me feel at home. Glaxy Hotel is a must-visit for anyone coming to Istanbul.

Air conditioner only listened owner's Language but Mr Ahmet was always available to sort out. I saw terrace in Hotels picture but I didn't see any terrace in hotel

The hotel is very close to the most important touristic objectives; Luqmen who's taking care of tourists to feel welcome and who's very helpful with his advices, so you can have a pleasant stay in Istanbul. Thanks to Luqmen we found a good and decent restaurant nearby the hotel.

Maybe the breakfast could start at 8 am, and not 9 am, which is a bit late for the tourists who would wish to visit the city when yhe weather is not so hot. Some improvement can be made in order to find the hotel through so many and narrow streets of Istanbul.

Its location is perfect. All of the landmarks in Istanbul are located nearby the property. Also, the owner comes by to check on us on daily basis to make sure we are comfortable. Moreover, he was helpful in answering our questions about the distance of the hallmarks we wanted to visit from the property and the cost of the taxi. On several occasions he even called taxi for us. In addition to that, the property is clean.
