The staff was helpful in answering our enquiries and always available if we needed them. The location was also great — very close to the main tourist attractions and the tram line. The room, while small, was very cozy and comfortable. The bed was of a good quality and all the facilities worked as expected.

While the location was convenient, it is not the best if you want to get an accurate feel for the city and its culture. It is a very tourist-filled area, often overcrowded and therefore inconvenient to navigate. The room service was also subpar. Despite them claiming it to be every day on the website, it was actually closer to once every two days. The closet space was a bit limiting for two people, which is something I’d like to see them expand on. Furthermore, in the bathroom, there are not enough shelves and spaces to arrange personal items.

I have booked this hotel for my sister and my brother-in-law and all feedback below is from them: "Ideal location with 6 minutes walking distance to Hagia Sofia and 10 minutes walking to Sultan Ahmed mosque, friendly and helpful staff, good value for money in Istanbul".

"Rooms are a bit small, but that is expected in an old town small hotel".

Staff was very cooperative. And location is also.. hardly 10 minutes walk for tram and 15-18min walk for blue mosque

01) Commode without hand shower, May b that's Turkish culture I don't know.. commode without hand shower is quiet frustrating.. 02) height of stairs.. I am fit so no problem for me but may be for others it could be tough.

I booked this place for my mum and aunt. They said: the service, the cleaning staff was friendly, the room was cleaned daily. It wasn't big but it was enough. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

My mum said: I can't think of anything bad considering the price we paid.

Breakfast has a european price, for the same money you can eat better anywhere else. Because of the thin walls, you can hear noises from the stairs and the hall.

Housekeeping was not daily, so we were without clean towels for 2/3 days at a time

Miklagord was overbooked when we arrived but they kindly offered us a very nice room at Divas hotel, just a few steps away. From our room we enjoyed a spectacular view of the sea. The hotel is located in the city center, you can reach all amenities by foot.

Room was perfect, clean, it had everything, good wifi, quiet hotel, personal was helping If we needed something they always helped, they were really friendly

loved the location. Near public transport, Blue Mosque snd Grand Bazar. loved the old style hotel. Quiet and unintrusive… they let us come and go but we’re around to help if needed.

it was pretty much all good. just be aware if you chose the cheapest rooms you will be in the basement… but despite that our room was great… clean, great shower, and quiet. one suggestion… not enough hooks and shelves for stuff. should have more hooks in the bedroom.
