Almost everything here was nice. Very friendly, polite and helpful receptionists and other staffs. The room was quite clean. Breakfast was nice, even though food was almost the same every day.

Location was a bit tricky, no shops nearby. You might need to climb up 100-step stairs and walk up hill a bit to go to the main street. But the hotel offers a van to go to Taksim every hour, Monday - Saturday. The bad thing for me was. I booked my room type as Junior Suite. There was a whirlpool in the room. To get in, there was a small wooden step. It was a bit challenging for someone who have bad knees or on the heavy side. After a long day, I wanted to have a bath. But the whirlpool was leaking (probably at one of the many pipe joints of whirlpool system). Water was everywhere on the bathroom floor. They offered me to change to another room.. Happened the same. So, I did not change to the 3rd room. No bath for me, just shower..

The stuff was very kind and helped us with paying the road taxes and answered to all of our questions. The parking in front of the hotel was great. The distance from the main tourist area is reasonable but keep in mind that we walked on very inclined streets and this can't be accessible for people with some health issues or special needs. We really liked this accommodation.

The toilet wasn't clean (had some stains from the past customers). The reason this concerns us is regarding sanitary standards. But we think this wasn't something that could repeat because everything else was fine.

Great modern hotel with wide range of facilities. Clean and comfortable.

Just the location was as described. Very difficult to reach. They offer free mini bus service to the main square taksim. But after have to make your own way back which is logistically very challenging. Won't stay again

Myself and my husband just spent 10 nights at Icon Istanbul and it was the most pleasant place to stay. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The hotel manager was at the breakfast buffet every morning (which was outstanding) and he was so kind and helpful offering us any food from the chefs in the kitchen (I had an omelette some mornings!) the selection of foods and the coffee and pastries were just gorgeous. The location was great, local shops with good prices and the hotel provides a shuttle bus every hour to Taksim which has great shopping. From Taksim it was a 5 minute trip on the tram into the centre with all the markets and lots to do. I would highly recommend staying in the Icon Istanbul hotel, we will definitely go back. Great for families and couples. Just so enjoyable overall and our bed was changed and room thoroughly cleaned every morning! The lady who cleaned our room was just lovely. Thank you Icon Istanbul for an unforgettable holiday.

Stuff were very helpful. Fayza and Hozan in the reception were trying to support all the time.

Location was not that far from Taqsim square. But was down the hill which makes the way to taksim is a bit difficult by walking.

Personnel does the best to make your staying much comfortable. Very responsive. There is hourly free shuttle bus to Taksim square( one way only) till 18:00 if you don’t like incline walking) Location is good for hiking and workout legs. Breakfast was good, delicious omelette was free. More over we were offered free breakfast in spite of our booking. Cleaning was doing well. Comfortable room. We didn’t have noisy neighbors.

Perhaps it’s location is not an advantage for some guests. As for pair we didn’t experienced troubles for this matter. But it’s surely not for evening promenade.

The customer service went well and the staff went well above and beyond my expectations. The breakfast could have had a bit more variety as it was the same every day.

The location was a bit far to walk from Taksim and too close to catch a taxi as most taxis refused to take us there unless we paid them 10 times what they were entitled to.

This hotel way exceeded my expectations, the hotel was clean, comfortable and the staff were very very friendly. My room was stunning and clean and comfortable. The staff were very kind and friendly and the breakfast way exceeded my expectations with SO MUCH choice and variety, the staff in the breakfast room were exceptionally friendly and kind and it was a pleasure to go down to breakfast every morning. Everything about this hotel was exceptional. It also has an hourly shuttle service to the metro or Taksim Square which I used every day and the driver was kind and polite. The area around the hotel is not the prettiest but it still felt very very safe and I had no issues walking back at night alone.

The hotel is a little way from Bus Stop and Metro, but I KNEW that before I booked so it's not a criticism, the hotel offer an hourly shuttle TO the metro or Taksim Square so it's easy to get a bus or metro from there, also it's easy to get a cheap uber should you need it. I think if you don't use the shuttle then it's quite a hefty walk up some very dangerous steps to where the busses are. It's not a problem coming back to the hotel as it's ALL DOWN STEPS so it's not so bad unless you have mobility issues or are carrying heavy luggage.

I like the two terraces in my room on the top floor, could see a nice view of the the city. The room was rather large and clean. The showers are nice and the staff were friendly and helpful. There is a small bar and dining area on the first floor and a large waiting area as well. There are many local businesses within 15 minutes of walking If your looking for a quick bite or a convenience store.

Two things come to mind, the AC sucks and the bar selection is small and there's no kitchen on site, but despite that they can order food that is delivered from off site.

The hotel is nice and the rooms are very comfortable and spacious. Clean and well kept. It's close to taksim and istiklal. Easy to get to major sights around istanbul. I wish there were some cafes close by like the Galata area.

Services like housekeeping are not available after hours. we needed it on one night when my son wasn't well and vomited and couldn't get sheets changed. But they still helped with whatever was available at that time.
