The location, the view from our room was incredible. The roof top restaurant has the best views of the Bosphorus. Even the downstairs bar has fantastic views. It is walking distance to Taksim Swuare, easy access to public transport.

We felt that the staff were not overly friendly but they did help us when asked.

This hotel was great! The views of the Bosphorus was great waking up to. A short walk to Taksim square and the train. The staff outdid themselves with the pursuit of excellent customer service. Everything was so clean.

The hotel was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Housekeeping was excellent. The buffet breakfast was extensive and varied from day to day. The location was good. A short walk up to Taksim Square to pick up public transport. A steep walk downhill to Kabataş to pick up the tram to Sultanahmet or ferries across the Bosphorus or out to the Princes Islands. The staff were all very helpful. There are handy small supermarkets very close by.

The pool is lovely but is surrounded by tall buildings. In the summer it only gets the sun from 11am to 2pm. My plans of sightseeing until early afternoon and then getting some sun by the pool were not to be. This was my only disappointment with the hotel.

This wasn't the first time for me in Opera Hotel, the location, rooms, food, facilities & the last not least the staff there is very friendly. I would like to thank Ms. Buket Özkan, i booked 3 rooms by Booking & she helped me in the rooms was next to each with perfect services. Many thanks for the hard tasks man Mr. Ayoub for his services & advices, he answered & helped us for many things either aeries, location & many logistics things. Special thanks for Mr. Yuksel Cici, when i had a medical issue with my wife & her sister, he helped me like you helping your close friend not as a part of his job.

Pool was bigger than I anticipated and such a great way to cool down after lots of sightseeing. Get a rate with breaky as it's a really good spread and so convenient Gym is big with a Pilates reformer. The airport transfer they arranged was competitively priced, convenient and comfortable. Triple room was really spacious. Make sure to check out the Bosphorus views from the rooftop.

The partial sea view room was the side of a building and if you stood in the far corner and leaned over you could see the water. The smoking - granted this isn't a hotel only issue and only an issue for those of us who don't smoke. But all outdoor spaces are smoking spaces. The staff would routinely come out to the pool area to smoke. The terrace for breaky (with incredible views) means you are surrounded by smokers.

Exceptional Stay at Opera Hotel Bosphorus From the moment we arrived at Opera Hotel Bosphorus, the experience was nothing short of amazing. The staff graciously allowed us to check in early, which was a huge convenience after a long journey. The rooms were spacious, beautifully designed, and provided every comfort we could have hoped for. The showers were modern and refreshing, adding a touch of luxury to our stay. What truly sets this hotel apart is its breathtaking view – hands down the best in Istanbul. Waking up to the stunning Bosphorus right outside our window was a highlight of our trip. Even after checkout, the hospitality didn’t stop. The team kindly stored our luggage until our flight, allowing us to explore the city stress-free. If you’re looking for exceptional service, comfort, and a view you’ll never forget, Opera Hotel Bosphorus is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

We loved everything!

This is our second time coming here such that its location is very nice to whom would rather be near taksim as it is a walking distance. its bosphorus view is extraordinary, and the quick coming to your room. Nearly all the features are available.

There are some notices such as that the receptionist welcomed us with a not so great attitude but eventually others came and were great. The cleaning lady did not respect the do not disturb sign and would come in while sleeping to clean.

The hotel is a mere 10 minutes walk away from Taksim sqaure and Istiklal street so you have a majority of options for food and drinks. The room had a beautiful panoramic view of the bosphorous. We received complementary bottles of water everyday along with an assortment of tea and some coffee sachets. Room and hotel staff services were very professional and kind.

The room was not as big as it appears to be in the photos. The washroom exhaust fan in our room was not working properly so it was a bit difficult to air the bathroom after using it. The room was a bit overpriced for the size and equipments in it, but the view of the bosphorous makes up for it.

Reception and the Front Desk “big boss” were 1000% welcoming and available to answer many question about transport, food, services on the property. He even helped with my Turkish language pronunciation. 😉👍🏽 I made the most of a short stay. Room balcony view of the Bosphorus was superb.

Coordinator of a (third party) car service booked through the hotel repeatedly yelled my full name at full volume in front of large crowds at airport to draw my attention to my car and driver. This day and age, this is a security risk (IYKYK) - informed the hotel and hopefully they will have a word with the company.
