This is probably my favorite hotel in the world. I've stayed here several times before – and surprisingly, this time both concierges recognized me and knew me by name. Such a small detail, but it really defines a great hotel that cares. All the rest is just perfect: historical building in the best possible location, outstanding service, and daily afternoon tea with live piano at the lobby bar – probably the best I've had in the entire world.

The only thing that I don't like about Pera Palace concerns their breakfast and room service. Breakfast is poor, overpriced, service is disappointing, breakfast area is not very pleasing. Thus we normally order room service – but again, choice is poor, food quality is unstable and service can be extremely ineffective and sometimes even rude.

Pera Palace is a historical hotel where many dignitaries stayed. It was very nice to have the chance to visit the Museum Room 101 where Mustafa Kemal Ataturk stayed. The staff was very very friendly and helpful, they were always smiling at you and ready to help with anything. Rooms are clean and tidy, beds are comfortable and bed sheets are nice and soft. The location of the hotel is amazing, you are steps away from the famous Istiklal Street where everything happens and very close by to Sishane Metro Station in case you want to visit other parts of Istanbul. If you take the Golden Horn view rooms, you will wake up to a beautiful view of the Ottoman part of the town with its remarkable minarets. They have a nice SPA where you can enjoy the sauna and Turkish bath as well as a nice small indoor pool. In the afternoon I enjoyed sitting in the main hall sipping tea and eating baklava while the piano was playing. Overall this was a memorable experience that I look forward to repeating.

For the overall price that we paid, I wish we could get a larger room. Further, I think that breakfast should always be included when you are paying that rate considering hotel and breakfast prices in Istanbul. I wish their internet was a little faster for those one or two business Zoom's I had to take. Finally, a hotel such as Pera Palace should have the option of offering Airport transfer if its guests require it.

Highly recommend staying at this historic hotel. It was such a fabulous experience! The rooms were so clean and the beds incredibly comfortable. Check in and out was easy. We went to tea one day and it was a delight. The hotel is in a favorite part of Istanbul and close to the sights without being in the midst of the tourist crowds. Endless eating and shopping options and also close to the Kilic Ali Pasa Hamam. Staying here was a highlight of our time in Istanbul and will stay again next time we're there.

I wish the room would have had more information about the hotel services and amenities. We had to call the front desk for information on breakfast, tea, etc. Having printed brochures or informational item in the room would have been ideal.

During my four-night stay in Alfred's room at the Pera Palace Hotel, I was transported on a captivating journey through time. The hotel's iconic and historical ambiance immersed me in a dream-like atmosphere of the past. The breathtaking view from the two balconies left me mesmerized, as I watched boats glide by and seagulls soar above, all while savoring a glass of prosecco. The room itself embodied the essence of Alfred Hitchcock, with its elegant and historically furnished yet incredibly comfortable design. The traditional marble-styled bathroom evoked the sensation of bathing in my own private hammam. Every aspect of the room was exceptional. Stepping into the tea room, with its six domes overhead, I felt as though I had entered an orientalist world, while a few steps to the right transported me to the neoclassical era. I spent hours lost in the pages of books from the library, relishing the tranquil atmosphere. The staff were not only informative about the hotel's history but also consistently helpful and friendly. Without a doubt, I will choose to stay at the Pera Palace again when I next visit Istanbul.

We had breakfast in bed! What a nice experience with the Bosphore view! And of course coffee and tea were complimentary. Chairs and table are on the balcony:) room service is quick and the food is delicious. We came back almost every day to eat at the hotel! The menu is amazing. And you should try the oldest French bakery and sweets shop all pink romantic and delicious 🤤 you will feel you are back to the time of the luxurious orient express. Enjoy you will have one of a kind stay at the Pera palace hôtel!

Everything was perfect!

It was our first time visiting Istanbul and the experience at Pera Palace made it so enjoyable. The hotel is very stylish, beautiful and well-maintained. The French-Ottoman design makes it really special. - location - excellent - room - clean, spacious with comfy bed. Furniture looked almost brand-new - staff - super kind and attentive - breakfast - high-quality, just the right selection of things, fresh and very delicious. The chef was so kind to make for us soft-boiled eggs on demand We didn't have chance to visit the Attaturk museum but will do next time. Overall highly recommended! Teşekkür ederim guys!! :)

the hotel is incredible as it contains so much history and beauty. it feels like staying in a museum. the food is great, the afternoon tea is a lot of fun and the bar is always entertained with live music. The staff are all super helpful and nice! the location is great, just a 5 minute walk to istiklal street which is so lively and 5 minute walk to the tunel fenicular that gets you to the bay. the surroundings of this area are beautiful, lively, touristic and lots of entertainment and shops

as it is very old, the isolation in the rooms is really bad. We were practically living with our next door neighbour, we could have a full on conversation. Also, since the hotel is so nice, it hosts weddings every weekend and it can get pretty loud. It always felt like we were crashing a wedding when going back into our hotel, and that meant that the lobby and restaurant were closed to the clients. Minor detail on cleanliness, for some reason the floor always felt dusty.

Charming hotel which has all what you need for a pleasant stay. Located in the modern European part of Istanbul nearby lively area with restaurants. Good room service. I reserved a spa session (red carpet massage) which was good. In general, the hotel made you feel as if you where at Agatha Christie’s time, the decoration, the different areas, the rooms remain untouchable.

The service. For a 5-star hotel the service must be impecable. The waiter who served us did not speak English at all which made the communication difficult. One day the room was not made up. I had to tell them to make it.

Everything was great especially the breakfast and pillows Also, the staff were so nice with me and my kids.

All the porters never smile and one of them was really really rude ..I didn't find change to give him so he slammed the door and tromped as loudly
