This hotel was the best choice we made. Here are the reasons: 1. Location = If you are a shopaholic, this is the place for you as the Hotel is situated in Istiklal street. Loads of shops, restaurants, cafe, vibrant atmosphere surrounding the hotel. We felt very secured as the police station was just opposite the hotel as well as the Swedish Embassy was really near. 2. Hotel = Brand new hotel, clean and very very very friendly and happy to serve staffs. They were just a call away and very attentive to our needs, The room was spacious and perfect for a couple. Room was serviced everyday with clean towels, toiletries. Excellent Hotel. 9/10. 3. How to arrive = We arrived there by bus from Sabiha Gokcen Airport. Just outside the Airport, cross the road and you will find bus marked with Taksim. We payed 50 Turkish lira cash (apprx 3 euro for 2 persons) and it took us 1,5 hours to reach Taksim due to heavy traffic. From the bus stoppage we walked to the big mosque in the Taksim square and there is a tram stoppage called Tunel. Although we walked to the hotel when we were there but you can take the old tram and it will drop you at the front of Cafe Clementine. The Hotel is one building away from there. You can pay by cash in the tram as well. or buy the Istanbulkart (family card 100 TL, 50TL/person). for each press it will cost around 8 TL. The Hotel is just opposite of Sishane Metro station, towards the end of Istiklal Street. As the Hotel is located just opposite to the Sishane metro station, going to Mall of Istanbul was easy. Took the metro to Yenikapi and from there took the 146T bus to Masko 1 bus stop. As for Sultanahmet (Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace, etc.), Sirkeci and Eminonu (shopping, Egyptian Bazaar), Bayezit (Grand Bazaar)we walked to Taksim square, Taksim metro station, took the metro to Kabatas station, and from there, T1 tram towards Bagcilar. When our feets were soar, we took the Tunel from the Celementine cafe stoppage and went to Taksim.

Same breakfast everyday made it a bit boring. But it was delicious and only on the fifth day we were tired eating the same breakfast. Breakfast is served in café clementine, very cute café. warm and cozy, Perfect for your Instagram. Staffs were very attentive and served us well.

Great sea view (paid extra), central location, friendly staff, clean room.

The hotel is on Istiklal Street where no cars are allowed to enter. I suggest the potential guests to make sure they know how to get to/from the hotel if taking a cab!

Staff is great. They’re helpful, attentive & friendly

The temperature controller in our room didn’t seem to function correctly. For the most part we were comfortable but sometimes in the morning it would blast the heat even though we had it set to cool. it may be that I didn’t understand how to use it. (traveled during winter)

We spent six nights at Ring Stone Hotel and our experience was unique! We stayed in Superior Suite with a Bosphorus View and a view of Galata Tower. The hotel lived up to our expectations and we were fully satisfied. The hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. Ejam helped us a lot before we arrived giving us helpful tips and information on how to get there and she welcomed us when we arrived. We loved them all, especially Emre. All receptionists, whose names we don't know, were amazing people with big smiles, even the porters and the staff who served us breakfast in Clementine cafe just outside of the hotel. The room was clean and was every day being made up. The view was spectacular. The room had two bathrooms which were very convenient, this could be mentioned in the room details when we booked the room because it is an enormous plus for the specific room. I think that the hotel location couldn't have been better. It is located at the beginning of Istiklal Street where all the modern shops, cozy cafes, and a variety of restaurants or street food places are. Galata Tower is about 300 meters away and Taksim Square is about 1.5 km far. Even though most sightseeings are when you pass Galata Bridge I couldn't imagine ourselves staying in the Sultanahmet area. We would walk every day over the bridge because we enjoyed it. On the way back to the hotel you need to climb up a "few" stairs but it is ok when you have tasted all those delicious sweets that Instabul offers! (need to burn some calories!) We reached the hotel by bus (Havaist, very cheap) from the new Istanbul airport and then we walked from Taksim Square, even though we could have taken the Metro. The hotel offered to have a taxi arranged from the airport, but we chose that on our way back. The cost was 450 Turkish lira, which was very reasonable. The hotel had arranged for us Hammam and this was quite a great experience as well. Our stay was excellent! We thank all the amazing staff!

Breakfast could have had a bit more variety! Every day the same options became a bit boring even though the staff was very polite!

The location is superb with so many shops and restaurants around. A nice, easy walk up to Taksim Square in one direction, and also near the Galata Tower in the opposite direction. Close to public transport options - right across from a metro station, the tram stop and the funicular. The rooms are clean and new. Staff are friendly and accommodating.

Rooms overlooking a courtyard of popular night spots could be a bit noisy if you are looking for an early night. Some might find the twin rooms and beds a bit small, but on par with what one would find in small European hotels. Originally being assigned an interleading/adjoining room meant we could hear everything happening in the room next door, but staff immediately agreed to move us the very next day.

From the moment we were met at our taxi all staff were helpful, even to the point of walking around to the metro to help us buy a travel card. We were there for our honeymoon & after a long day out we were presented with a lovely surprise plate of fresh fruit & tasty macarons & kind card. Our room was bright & comfortable , with a perfect view over the Bosphorus from our balcony especially on sunny days. 💯 blackout curtains for bedtime. The location is perfect, as a central spot for sight seeing and also very close to a plethora of eateries and bars…noise isnt a problem though.

We had chosen to inc the continental breakfast from Clementine, the next door cafe , which we wouldn’t do again. We couldnt fault it for freshness but , you couldn’t choose what you had.

Not a complaint, but once the hotel plans a renovation please consider double-sided glass. that’s the only comment.

This was my second stay in this fabulous hotel and I was not disappointed as this hotel delivered excellent service this time too. The location is perfect as it is 10 mins walk to Taksim Square and 15 mins walk to Galata Port. Because the hotel is direct on Istiklal Road, once you step out of the hotel you see all the shops, restaurants, and coffee shops. I highly recommend this hotel for its cleanses, facilities, and above all the kindness of all its staff.

Nothing, Everything was perfect !

- location is incredibly close to all transport systems and very life area of Istanbul ( Istiklal Street ) - Many good nearby restaurants and shopping places - Staff are really great, very responsive to all our requests and helpful ( Emircan is very nice and so helpful indeed ) - The view of the sea view room was stunning - Breakfast is good, however same items everyday. it took us 3 days to decide to take breakfast outside

- Jacauzi in our room didn’t work when we tried to use it for first time at second night of our stay, however the staff were quick and changed our room in the evening - Housekeeping staff are good, however some might not speak good English, one of the team kept flipping one of our bags that had items that can be damaged, it looks she didn’t understand us well
