We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and I can confidently say it was a remarkable experience. First of all, the hotel is impeccably clean, and the staff is extremely kind and friendly. The location is excellent, situated in the historic center of Istanbul, very close to major tourist attractions such as the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, Cisterns, Topkapi Palace, and the Grand Bazaar. Additionally, its proximity to the metro and tram makes getting around the city very easy. The hotel’s decor is superb, in an Ottoman style, offering an authentic and elegant atmosphere. The rooms are extremely clean and charming, although a bit small, but this does not affect the overall comfort of the stay. Another strong point of the hotel is the breakfast, which is rich and delicious, offering a variety of specific breakfast appetizers. Although it is not a buffet, the diversity and quality of the dishes more than compensate. We particularly appreciated the attention to detail, such as the provision of fruits and wine from the house. The staff was incredibly helpful in every respect. Whether we needed recommendations for excursions, advice on tourist routes, or currency exchange, we always received quick and cheerful assistance. The airport transfer was very well organized and convenient, eliminating any stress related to transportation. In conclusion, I warmly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to enjoy comfort, elegance, and quality services in a central location in Istanbul. We will definitely return! Tips: Have a great lunch or dinner at Münhani restaurant nearby. The personnel is very nice, and the food is affordable and delicious. Take the Istanbul ferry from Eminönü to Kadıköy. It’s a better option to go on Bosphorus instead of the cruise. In Kadıköy don’t miss out Berlin Platz Pub for great ambiance and affordable beer and Cold Neron for delicious homemade ice cream.

Everyone went above and beyond to facilitate us. It was our first trip together as a couple and they made sure everything was on point. I booked activities like day tour and cruise through them as well as airport shuttle, the entire trip went super smooth considering it was our first time in Turkey. The hotel is extremely clean, very responsive reception desk specially Yacup was really helpful. Very nice breakfast as well and very filling! We had our Hammam the last day before our flight, loved it! Whenever we plan to visit again, Sultan it is! And oh they also gave a present on check out. 😍

Everything was great!

Location perfect! A few minutes walk from the Blue Mosque, the Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace and Grand Bazar. Nice variety at breakfast, although don't really expect anything fancy, but had a good variety of cheese, salad and some warm snacks as well among others. Breakfast is across the road. The staff was really kind and caring, always looking on how to improve our stay. We went with our own plan, but the hotel can organize tours for you, and there is a Haman bath opportunity at the place as well. Also they offer airport shuttle, which is currently at 45 EUR rate one way (expected to be payed in EUR/USD at the reception)

Rooms are smaller then expected, or maybe only some furniture is in the wrong location, couldn't really decide on this, but the pictures are definitely tricky. However you want to stay at this hotel, due to the proximity of the sights and not because you want to spend your day in the rooms. Beds are also smaller, then regular European hotels, but i didn't really mind that, however for us they were kind of uncomfortable. Didn't really get a good night sleep while there. Sound insulation is basically none existent.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location is perfect—just a 7-10 minute walk to the Blue Mosque and close to the Grand Bazaar, Spice Bazaar, and Sultanahmet Square. The rooms were spotless and comfortable, but the real highlight was the exceptional hospitality. Yakub, Erkan, and Jalal went above and beyond, providing great service and helpful tourism tips that made our trip even better. If you’re looking for a well-located, clean, and welcoming place to stay in Istanbul, this is it. Highly recommended due to the location and staff!

Breakfast was organised at the restaurant next to the hotel. The spread, variety and quality was very good. They had everything from juice, milk, various types of coffees, tea, fruits, boiled egg and different omelets, lots of different types of breads, typical turkish cold mezze, cereals, pancakes, spreads, cheese..... Location was perfect, within walking distance from main square and different transport Staff was attentive, good natured, helpful, available

We had a triple room which was very comfortable with good size bathroom and everything clean and functioning. We were out all day and only in to sleep. Slightly more space could be nice as there wasnt really much place to keep our 3 small suitcases. If people have big suitcases, it would be hard to accommodate them.

Staying at Sultan Suleyman Hotel in Istanbul was an unforgettable experience. The Ottoman-inspired luxury, exceptional service, and prime location made it truly five-star. My room was elegantly designed with breathtaking views, and the spa and Turkish hammam added a touch of indulgence. With easy access to landmarks like Hagia Sophia and Topkapi Palace, this hotel is a must for anyone seeking history, comfort, and luxury in one place. Jakob & Murad is a very helpful nice guy.

I loved everything about Sultan Suleyman Palace Hotel. The customer service was just fantastic. All the staff was extremely friendly, customer service oriented and generally always there to help. Mr. Yakup Arik especially went above and beyond their call of duty to ensure my wife and I were well taken care of during our stay. He mentionedthat he had just started working there 2 weeks before our arrival. We would have guessed that he has been there for many many years as an employee as he was very knowledgeable and his customer service was excellent. The breakfast was amazing with lots of options to eat. Both my wife and I also tried the Spa services which were excellent as well. Mr. Ali Kaçar was also another member of the team that stood out to us in his customer service. The bed was extrememly comfortable and both my wife and I had a great night sleep all 3 nights we stayed there.

We had the most fabulous stay at this beautiful Hotel during our first trip to Turkey. The staff were exceptionally helpful and work very hard to please everyone. In particular, Jacob took good care of us. The location is great with a lovely local atmosphere. Some lovely little shops selling snacks souveneirs and delicious fruit.The bed linen was good quality and the rooms were clean and stunning. We slept well. The breakfast was large and varied, beverages were offered throughout my stay. I also had 2 great massages at the spa which exceeded my expectations. One from Mya and one from a Ugandan lady. My airport transfer was organised for me which was on time and appreciated. I travelled with my 5yo son and he really enjoyed himself staying here. Staff are very accommodating to children. There were no hidden charges for anything in the room which was nice. I would recommend this hotel and spa highly and truly hope to come again.

That we couldn't stay longer

Service from staff. Each and everyone were kind and treated us well. The service you get here from front office reception are the best. I would only come back to stay becoz these guys are service oriented. The location to nearby tourist attractions like the grand bazaar, hagia sophia, blue mosque etc was a good 10-15 mins walk.

The hotel rooms are absolutely tiny. One cannot open their suitcase given the tiny size of the room. The hotel did upgrade us to a bigger room but unfortunately the size was the same. Only difference we got a balcony to sit and a sea view. This is sadly how few boutique hotels are in Istanbul if they are not the high end ones. Breakfast was outside in a nearby restaurant. Service staff from the hotel who manage it. Nothing fancy but basic.

We stayed here in September. We had paid for a regular room, but to our surprise we were told right on arrival that our room had been upgraded and we got a room with a bigger balcony with a sea view and a smaller balcony with a city view. It was a wonderful surprise, as something like this has never happened to me in my life🤩 The staff was fantastic, every single employee at the reception was very professional, always smiling and I have never met better employees. Without fun 😉 Cleaning was also amazing! Our room was cleaned every day, towels were changed... Wow! The rooms were nicely furnished and clean. What you order is what you really get. The breakfast was also interesting, even though we are vegetarians, we always found something we liked. The only thing I would appreciate would be more vegetables at breakfast, but that's the only thing. I recommend accommodation 10/10. Extremely satisfied and we will stay here again next time 😊
