Location is in the middle of beyouglu and karakoi..close to tram way and piers. Several restaurants and coffee shops around Breakfast on the terrace has no price...beautiful views and nice food Personnel very attentive

A major municipal construction (park + parking subterranean) is in front of building ..no access by car...it will.take some.more years for finishing it...it means after 9 am start the construction noises but ends at 4-5 pm Needs more cleaning

It is my favourite hotel in Istanbul, I stayed in The Wings several times and hopefully will stay during my next visits) Its greate location in a cozy square on the Bosphorus waterfront near Galata Port, a 5 minutes walk from Galata Bridge, combines breathtaking veiw with easy access to the main attractions on the city. I usually started my day with a cup of coffee on a roof terrace, enjoying the panorama of the city and the Bosphorus, and in the evening, coming back to the hotel, stayed for a while near the water to look at the magnificence of the city by night and to feel calm atmosphere of the local life. Inside the hotel you will find the same calm atmosphere, modern interiors and spacious, very cleen and comfortable rooms. Bathrobes and slippers are of high quality, as well as bathroom toiletries. A new bottle of fine water, coffee, tea will wait you every day and are complimentary. Oh, and a plate of Turkish delights will wait you as welcoming gift on arrival. The hotel staff is effective, pleasant, respectful and intelligent. You can expect personal approach and friendly smiles whenever you contact them. And this adds charm to this wonderful hotel!

Everything is very well

- The sea view from the top terrace is awesome - The staff are very nice and helpful especially Erfan at the reception - The hotel is very close to the sea and the walk near the sea is fantastic - The room is very clean - They offered us free turkish coffee at the terrace

- The sea view from the room was nice but there is construction in front of the hotel that is somewhat spoiling the view - It gets noisy at night because the area is very busy

I recently stayed at The Wings Hotel Istanbul and honestly, I loved every minute of it. The staff were super friendly and made me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. The location is perfect—right at the water's edge near the Galata Bridge, so it was easy to explore the city. Even though it’s a 4-star hotel, the service felt like 10 stars. Everything was seamless, the rooms were spotless, and the attention to detail was next level. It was one of those stays where everything just clicked, and I can’t wait to go back!

Staying at The Wings Hotel in Istanbul was an unforgettable experience! The location in Karaköy is perfect, especially if you plan to use public transport. The hotel is just a short walk from key tram and metro stations, making it convenient to get around Istanbul. Plus, the ferry port is nearby, which was fantastic for taking cruises along the Bosphorus or simply hopping on a ferry to explore the Asian side of the city. Having such easy access to public transport made my stay stress-free and allowed me to experience more of Istanbul. The staff at The Wings Hotel went above and beyond, offering fantastic local recommendations and ensuring my stay was flawless. Whether you’re in Istanbul for sightseeing or a business trip, this hotel offers the perfect mix of luxury, location, and convenience. Highly recommend!

Stayed at The Wings Hotel Istanbul March 23-29, 2024 An excellent hotel, well located. We had a wonderful view of the Golden Horn and Galata Bridge. As far as the room is concerned it was immaculate in all respects. The staff with no exception was extremely hospitable and friendly. We were especially delighted by Mr. Mert who took care of us at the very beginning of our stay and until accompanying us to the taxi stand because one should have guts to talk to the Istanbul taxi drivers. We were pleased beyond any expectations by the service provided by Mr. Emrah Diyap, F&B Manager. He did a great job by helping us choose the right salads and adequate dishes taking into account the fact that a great deal of foodstuff was unknown to us. His perfect command of English and extensive international experience in the realm of his profession made us feel comfortable at the breakfast room located on the top of the hotel. From The Wings Hotel we moved to the Pera Palace Hotel for two nights. Frankly speaking we did not enjoy our stay there in comparison with The Wings. Although we moved in the room where Ernest Hemingway stayed long ago and we paid twice as much for one night as for one night at the Wings the service was far from what was expected. The only service that we really liked was the buffet breakfast. Conclusion: If there is an occasion we would stay at The Wings again, let alone we would recommend it to our friends. I was planning to stay June 5-7 but unfortunately the prices went up drastically and I was at this time could not afford to play $500 a night. It is even more expensive then at Pera Palace Hotel (438 per night).

Beautiful hotel right on the waterfront. The room was really comfortable, clean and luxurious. A lot of prior reviews commented on construction opposite the hotel - our room overlooked this but it actually seems to be ancient ruin excavations which was exciting to see. The bar upstairs had beautiful views of the Bosphorus. The staff were lovely and friendly.

Breakfast was very expensive so we didn’t take the option.

The hotel was close to main places of interest, it was clean and in good condition.

One of the rooms I rented had a clogged shower and we asked the staff every day to fix it and they claimed they did but it never got resolved therefore the shower was of not use. Also one night we asked the front desk to recommend a restaurant and he said he will reserve it and when I was ready to go to “the reservation” he said he didn’t make it due to lack of visibility and he never bothered to tell me.

The whole team is very attentive and helpful. They went above and beyond to make things happen. We traveled for my mother's 60th birthday and the hotel helped arrange beautiful flowers and a delicious cake in addition to an amazing brunch in their cozy and modern rooftop restaurant with a breathtaking view. The rooms are spacious and modern. The beds are like clouds! The location could not be more central, right next to the river.

Unfortunately, there is currently a construction sight right next to the hotel. It partly blocks the view, especially for the first-floor river view rooms. Definitely not the hotel's fault, but would have been nice to know about it prior to arrival, especially since the view is currently not as expected.

The breakfast was amazing, I recommend the one for sharing, it contains more than you need. We have been served few times by, Emrah Diyap (the Food & Beverage Manafer) and his outstanding. Also the entire staff from reception are great, they even helped us in contacting the airport transfer car driver (with their own phone) to be sure that everything will be as smooth as possible for us. Perfect location to move around the city
