I had an amazing stay at Windrose! The location is perfect near Taksim Square, restaurants and night life next door opened 24/7. It was super easy to reach the Historic town as well! Room very comfy with great A/C and balcony, everything super clean. Small but convenient common kitchen and living room. The staff was incredibly nice to me, I was having a bad day and they totally cheered me up, gave me a very comfy room and were very useful to help me plan my trip. Thanks a lot guys!!

I felt more in a hotel than in a hostel and didn’t get to meet any fellow travelers so not the best option for a solo backpacker to mingle, but I think the hostel was just quiet so not their fault!

Perfect location, between Taksim and Cihangir. Heating in room (we were there in winter) and hot water all day. Stuff friendly and willing to help. Seemed clean enough. Kitchen on the ground floor was well equipped and cozy, very nice for preparing a breakfast.

There was a smell from the sewage in the bathroom. Stuff tried to fix this, but it didn't work. Fortunately, it was bearable with an open bathroom window.

I stayed in this hostel for 13 days. It is located near Istiklal Street and is close to the supermarket and restaurants. The manager is respectful and helped me get to know the places. Also, the receptionist Tugba helped me a lot with my schedule for tourist places. She is respectful and kind, and the evening receptionist is very excellent. The hostel is safe and very clean. I highly recommend it. 👌 hope to see you again soon .

The staff were all extremely freindly and even gave me suggestions on where to visit and how to get about the city at the best price, the street on which it sits is like a little communal hub, everyone sits outside at night having a good time. It was excellent. Within a short walk from convenience stores, Taksim Square, Istiklal Street and Istiklal Metro line, offers great facillities, nice warming environment in the lounge (has a guitar and chessboard for entertainment)

The only thing I would mention is there was a small hole/tear on the blanket for my bed but it wasnt something i saw to complain about as it did not bother me atall

An excellent hostel. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the location is great, and the staff is friendly. Most importantly, there's a kitchen where you can cook your own meals, saving money on a budget trip. They also offer good laudry service. Definitely the best in the European part of Istanbul.

Really, really good place. Honestly, the staff and the people there were phenomenal. I've stayed at a lot of hostels, but the vibe here was fantastic. I loved everyone there, and I really hope to visit again soon.

It was amazing!! First off, the place was very clean. when you enter the hotel it smells wonderfully clean. The gentleman who cleans the place was very attentive-he was cleaning the bathrooms and kitchen daily and helped us out with our laundry. Secondly, The location is ver central .The staff is super lively and great to talk about Turkey. great company when hanging out in the common area. Lastly, the beds at this hostel are very soft, rooms are large and spaced out. Great big kitchen for cooking meals/ making coffee and tea. The location is very close to several markets and taksim square-but also tucked into a nice quiet street. Thank you so much for an amazing stay in Istanbul.

Had a great stay here in Istanbul. Thank you to the gentleman at reception who was so welcoming and friendly each day. There was free tea available and our room was clean and comfortable. We were able to walk to many attractions and were close to restaurants and shops.

Room was FREEZING in May!!! Told heat would be fixed “next week”. I had to move hostels. Will probably warm up for the Istanbul summer
