Very friendly and helpful staff. We had initially a leaking problem in our bathroom, straight way they moved us into a bigger room. Upon entering, the typical Turkish hospitality will straight away make your time here excellent. At all hours in the reception they offer tea or coffee to guests. They serve a wonderful breakfast and provide mostly anything you ask for. Generally we found at least one staff speaking English, however they are very good with Google translate and will work very hard to understand what you are communicating.

Not a lot to say here that is bad, this is a great value for money hotel in a rather non-touristy area for English speakers. As long as you don't expect too much luxury you will be very happy here.

The hotel was perfect for my stay in Kars. The room was nice, very warm in the cold winter, and had a wonderful view of the mosque plus beautiful sunlight coming in in the morning. The bed was surprisingly comfortable. The staff were kind and offered tea on arrival, and the included breakfast was good. Walkable to any place in Kars you might want to go! Great value for money.

Great location, in the center of town within walking distance to the citadel, bus station and all interesting points in town including the minibus to Ani, spotless clean, friendly staff and amazing rich breakfast. The room designed for 3 was spacious (double rooms are tiny).

The room smelled of cigarette smoking. While the room was very clean it needs maintenance and updating. Floor and walls were peeling off, the bathroom’s door handle came off and the bed sheet was too small to cover the mattress.

The location was perfect and the room was exceptionally clean/ The staff were friendly and attentive. They even helped me arranging a taxi to visit the Ruins of Ani.

The staff is not very knowledgeable about departures to other places. They even gave me a wrong address of the Otogar/Bus Terminal, and as a consequence I ended up missing my intended bus to Iğdir and had to wait 2h for the next one. However, that’s also on me. I should have double checked before going to the wrong place.

Very friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast was overall really good. Location was perfect too. The reception team kindly helped us organise a taxi to the bus station as well.

Just be warned there is no air-conditioning in the rooms. We were here in August and the room was so hot and uncomfortable at night (even with the windows open). I asked the reception if there was a fan we would could use and they said no.

Really friendly staff. Clean room, good breakfast buffet. Staff gave us a kettle when we asked and offered us complimentary tea and coffee on request. Easy walk to train station for the Kars - Ankara train.

It is opposite a mosque so quite noisy at prayer time but that's probably the case for most places in Kars. The lift is tiny and a bit claustrophobic.

The staff are very friendly and helpful in arranging tours and taxis around the Kars region. The breakfast is tasty, too!

The mosque across the street may wake you up in the early morning—we did not mind this, but it may not be an ideal location for those who have trouble falling back to sleep.

Stayed for 2 nights on arriving in Kars so that we could visit Ani ruins. Hotel is a great central budget option surrounded by restaurants and supermarkets (Migros for alcohol). Only 10 minutes walk to the castle. Good bathrooms, wifi and minifridges in the rooms with breakfast included. Staff are extremely helpful and organised a taxi to Ani ruins for 600TL, cheaper than a metered return. Building work on a new mosque is directly opposite but this was no inconvenience to us.

The room was very nice, clean, cozy, also the hotel is very centrally located and the staff is really friendly and helpful. My stay had breakfast included, and therefore in terms of value per money, this hotel can be only recommended.

The bed was a bit damaged in my room, unfortunately. Also, the hotel is right across a street from a large mosque, so it can get a bit loud few times per day.

The location was in walking distance to the train station where we arrived late in the evening with the Dogu Express. The hotel is basic but comfortable, clean and safe. Breakfast was very good, and the breakfast staff was very nice and attentive. Good value for the money.
