Great hotel with outstanding views on Ürgüp and surroundings from the nice terrace. This hotel has a lot of character! The cave rooms have a fantastic atmosphere and are super comfortable with great bathrooms. It is a very quiet place where you can relax after a busy day and still feel the amazing Cappadocia ambiance.

The staff are very nice and professional. They even let me checked in early (took a night bus from Denizli). The room was huge and I especially loved the bathroom and jacuzzi. Breakfast was also a lovely spread of local mezze

The reception and breakfast staff were exceptional as was the individualy served breakfast-the mememen was the best we had in Turkey.The bathroom was huge and the large spa bath was spotless.

I had an amazing stay at Canyon Cave! Ürgüp is one of my favorite cities, and staying here made it even more special. The view from the property is lovely, the bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was absolutely fantastic – definitely one of the best! The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Although there’s no AC, the room stays cool and comfortable, so I didn’t miss it at all.

My only small concern was that the room wasn’t cleaned, even though I put the "Please Clean Room" sign up. It wasn’t a big issue for me, but a bit more attention to this detail would have been nice.

The location overlooking the valley is fantastic, the rooms are beautiful and spacious, and everyone in the staff is extremely courteous, friendly and helpful - all our tours were easily sorted out and booked. The breakfast is delicious and the terraces are great for enjoying a wine or a chat. 20/10

That we couldn't stay longer

Cannot recommend highly enough. The rooms were stunning, and the owner and his family were kind, helpful and engaging. They couldn't do enough to help us organise a fantastic trip in Cappadocia, recommending us adventures, restaurants and trips. They sat with us and explained the history of the region, and were simply wonderful hosts. The cave rooms are beautifully designed and extremely comfortable. The bathroom was large and had an excellent jacuzzi bath. The beds were comfy and large, whilst the courtyard in the hotel was a wonderful place to sit and read. Breakfast was a feast of turkish breakfast staples, and eggs made freshly to order every day.

I loved the staff’s they were so friendly and willing to help me with any questions or information I needed. The room was very clean and ready in time ,Breakfast was delicious.I would definitely go back to canyon cave hotel it was wonderful.

I loved the view

The bespoke service from the hotel owner and staff are unbeatable. The owner really took time to give us the best recommendations and personally called tour companies to give us the best deals and options for tours especially for the hot air balloon. The overall value for money is awesome. Our experience in Cappadocia has been really great thanks to this simple decision to stay at canyon cave hotel.

Overall, the hotel was excellent. Doga spoke good English and was very helpful in making arrangements for us. The breakfast was excellent, the best meal of my day. Views from the roof were very nice.

There is no fault of the hotel, but the walk into town ,especially the uphill return, can be challenging.

A beautiful small boutique hotel, with great views from the terrace. A great choice for our family of 4. We loved that we could walk down to the town of Urgup in just a few minutes. The restaurant we recommend (based on the recommendation of the owner of the hotel) was "Sofra" restaurant, Turkish home cooking options for reasonable prices. Perfect host/owner, who showed genuine interest in the guests. ps tip: think of renting a car for your stay those few days, you need to be mobile in this area. We rent it from Kayseri airport and saved a lot of money on guided tours etc. Also buy the 3 day museum pass for 400 TL per person, with this pass you can enter all museums in the Capadochia region. If you'd like to book a balloon trip: ask around for prices, we managed to get one for 150 EUR pp, yes expensive but once in a life time experience.

Breakfast buffet was good, with every morning new choices (pancakes, menenem, omelets) but maybe fresh juice or a cappuchino instead of Nescafe would have been nice. To be honest we were spoiled so much at our hotel in Kas, that nothing can top that breakfast experience, so we cannot say too much for the Canyon Cave hotel. So for sure a good experience and only a few minor suggestions :).
