Beautiful property and staff very friendly

Whilst I understand Bodrum is often renown as Turkey’s destination for the rich and famous, the mark up on prices is too excessive. A Corona from the hotel bar was AU$18 when in the remainder of Turkey is would be approx AU$6 Also, we are in 2024 and no smart tvs in the rooms. Not to mention the standard issues tv did not pick up all of the local terrestrial channels. I understand you don’t pay to stay in the room to watch tv but you do need some downtime. The wifi was also horrible in our room which was towards the end of the building. Hotel at this price point should have the best.

Breakfast was amazing, escape beach club was beautiful, as was the infinity pool. Staff were attentive and very helpful. Especially at breakfast. The gym was good, we even took PT sessions (would only be better and bit beneficial if she could speak English also, but she was amazing, and really enjoyed her workout sessions). Also loved the pillow menu, the goose feather was much better and the WhatsApp for the guest relations was very useful.

Minor detail - but the rooms need a full length mirror, and we asked for twin beds but some days the beds were made up as double and other days twin which was strange. Also many times some amenities aren’t replenished, so you need to keep asking which is a bit annoying for a ten day stay… eg coffee in the room, or cotton pads or buds etc etc just basics should be replenished daily really.

Everything was just perfect, the nicely designed room overlooking the sea, the friendly hospitable staff greating us everyday like family, the vibe and DJ on the Escape beach, all the restaurants and cafes there were delicious, the souvenirs shop is nice and neat, the spa services were suburb (Tried Balenise massages in the terrace and classic massage in one of the spa rooms, they were both amazing performed by an Indonesian Masseuse) , even the breakfast menu was delicious. Not to forget the perfect location with an easy access to a beach walk across other hotels and shops (for my morning walks). Yalikavak Marina is also less than 10 minutes away by taxi which was just so convenient for me. I honestly had heavenly time there, was pampered to the max, I even extended my visit for a couple of days because I couldn't get enough. I'm so thankful and grateful for all the staff and the good management of the Hotel. Highly recommend it 👌🏼

This is a hidden gem - the hotel is beautiful. We loved the pool - the loungers in the photo are accurate and we enjoyed the stunning views of the bay. The breakfast was to die for and catered to all imaginable breakfast offerings! The loungers by the beach were comfortable (second level more so) and the service was impeccable. Every single person we met was helpful, caring, and friendly. I accidentally left by backpack (with my laptop and iPad inside) in the taxi and the reception staff acted quickly and I had my bag back in my arms within 10 mins. Kudos to the taxi driver for being so responsive and trustworthy. A special shout out goes to Simga (sorry if I misspelled your name) for being super friendly and arranging my paddleboard and catamaran adventures! You are an angel! We ate at the Seafront restaurant and Beeves Steak restaurant - both were outstanding! The waiters at Beeves were outstanding!

We liked everything!

- tastefully decorated and furnished hotel which has a luxurious rustic feel - loved the design of the infinity pool & lounging beds adjacent to it - plenty of very plush lounging sun beds along the waterfront which had a Maldives vibe to it. I loved that the beds were immediately by the water and you can get in and out of the sea very conveniently and feel close to the water. - all the food in the various restaurants were good. The hotel had many beautiful lounging and relaxing areas dotted about the hotel which all had nice ambience. If you wanted to explore, you could turn right from the hotel and walk along the promenade to get further into the bay - lots of other restaurants and bars there within 15 minute walk. It’s also a nice and safe walk. - the room was comfortable, clean, beautifully designed (we had the sea view) and the rain shower was very good :) - guest relations were amazing (always available directly on WhatsApp) and happy to help. Definitely one of their plus points!! Very good customer service. Staff were always very attentive as well. Thank you. - they have watersports available (perhaps needs to be promoted more to customers, we discovered this by chance when we were exploring the hotel) - we tried the catamaran activity, it was very fun! - we also tried the Turkish hammam in their spa which was a lovely experience, very clean. The spa area is also beautiful and relaxing. - the breakfast spread, omg, it’s incredible! You get to pick your hot food from a menu and there’s also a huge buffet spread with great variety and good quality food. - we missed this but on Sundays they have movie night where they put a projector/screen on the sea and you lay on the sunbeds to watch the movie. Gutted we missed this! Would’ve stayed an extra night if we knew!

- location is slightly out of the way and most tour companies do not to pick ups from this area. We managed to find one Bodrum Tour XL Onelli at the last minute who would. Obviously you can do the private tours with Cape Bodrum themselves but this will be at a much higher price point - party music from the bar is usually played quite loud during the day, I would’ve preferred music with chilled vibes. Didn’t want to feel like I was in Ibiza (whole of Bodrum tend to like their party music)

-We were upgraded to a bigger room on the highest floor and that was absolutely wonderful. The room was gorgeous- spacious and stylish. - The view from the room was fantastic - The pool and beach facilities were amazing. Great, super comfortable beds, good entrance to the sea, etc. Tasty Lachmachun from the oven! Drinks on the beach were also good! - Room was clean, bed was great but the best was the so called pillow menu, where one can choose and order the pillow one likes for free. - We left very early to catch a ferry to Kos one day and staff prepared us breakfast boxes to go with tasty sandwiches and coffee but also pancakes with Nutella and strawberries. Same for the early check-out to go to the airport. Thank you for that! 🙌 Was perfect to brighten the long ride up - Concierge staff is very attentive in ordering the taxi, opening doors and greeting, once one comes back. Much appreciated!

- Too bad only one of three restaurants was open:( There were just a few dishes to choose from and we did it on the day one. If two other restaurants were open, we would’ve paid those a visit too , since there is absolutely nothing good outside of the hotel in a walking area. - There was no Nespresso machine in the room and only instant coffee bags:/ which makes absolutely no sense for a resort of this level. - The location I didn’t really like. Gundogan village is quite dirty and there are no good food or coffee options at all - Breakfasts were really good! Just one small thing, the staff is not very attentive and when you order something from the menu, always something else arrives 🥲

Cape Hotel is simply fantastic across all guest touchpoints. This hotel is the epitome of luxury, from the exquisite rooms and impressive facilities to the stunning aesthetics and breathtaking views. A special shout-out goes to Yalin and Margaret from the guest services team, who always went above and beyond to make us feel right at home. The room was very spacious, with ample storage space and a magnificent view of the sparkling sea. The infinity pool and the escape beach are both truly breathtaking, each with its own unique charm. The hotel's location, close to the Yalikavak marina, is also incredibly convenient. I loved every single aspect of my stay at the Cape Hotel, and I will undoubtedly be returning the next time I visit Bodrum. This hotel is an absolute gem, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a luxurious and unforgettable experience.

The staff were so friendly from the moment we arrived and the great service was maintained throughout our stay, I.e the WhatsApp messaging service. The breakfast was also amazing, so much choice from the bar and a cooked breakfast. We were really impressed and the breakfast service ran smoothly each morning. Also having the private beach area was a plus! We went there everyday as it can accommodate a lot of guests without feeling like you’re on top of each other. Really enjoyed having this within the hotel

We came off season (end of Sept) so the water in the pool was cold, but I don’t think that’s a negative point for the hotel, just bad timing for us to travel!

Beach is amazing with super comfortable sunbeds, placed in a way that gives you enough privacy. Gym is well equipped, interiors of the hotel are stunning. Breakfast with good choice and high quality pf food. And even more importantly - service is beyond expectations

Room numbers are comfortable, spacious. Yet there are some nuances: quality of renovation is questionable when you can see carelessly painted walls and some things on the walls are hanged crooked. I missed additional lighting in the bath area for makeup and bedside tables from both sides of the bed

Incredible hotel, absolutely stunning. Truly luxurious, a fantastic place to get away from the city. A beautiful place to spend time and fantastic staff throughout. The spa facilities and service are also excellent as is the food and service at the Escape restaurant. The food at Beeves is also very good.

A member of staff dropped a beer bottle by the pool and did a poor job of cleaning it up. There was broken glass around the sun loungers and even in the pool. I had to point it out in numerous places for them to clean up. The wifi is very weak, less than 1mb upload speed. I would expect a hotel of this quality to offer proper hi speed wifi throughout. The sushi restaurant was closed as we were nearing off season which was disappointing as the surrounding area doesn't really offer much else of the same quality.
