The hotel building and surrounding property is amazing. So many different areas to chill out in, allowing for a relaxing holiday despite being such a large hotel. Pools are great even the non-heated ones are fine to swim in during the winter. The overall design of the hotel is beautiful and is even better than the photos show.

Due to the size of the hotel it takes a few days to orientate yourself. You only get a map on check-in and not much help after that. I expected a 5 star welcome and the feeling of being looked after considering the price. Instead I felt like just one of a thousand other guests left to figure things out myself.

Not offering hot drinks at evening meal in the price. not offering water free. no nice toiletries in rooms, not 5* standard not 5* food at all, mostly cold, not enjoyable. too many unique areas with no one in. took over an hour to check in, using new system that no one was trained on. no explanation on anything when checked in on where things were, breakfast times, anything! no iron and ironing board in room water in room not replenished after day one air con poor

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the hotel felt luxurious. Most of the nightly shows from 9:00 to 10:00 PM were interesting, but the options were somewhat limited. The resort was very nice, and the location was perfect—close to the dunes, the nude beach, and many shops and restaurants. The view from the pool was very nice. Overall, it was a great resort for relaxation.

The water temperature in the pools and jacuzzi was very low. The jacuzzi was actually cold, making it unusable. The two main pools draw water from the ocean, and both were very cold. The warmest pool was a small one with a temperature below 22°C. We could hear noise from the neighboring room, which was a bit annoying, especially in the early mornings when we were on vacation and wanted to sleep in. Breakfast was almost the same every day. We stayed for seven days, and by the end, we were really tired of the lack of variety.

We really liked the fact that the resort had so many locations for sitting by the pools. We also really enjoyed the lazy river pool that felt warmer than the other pools. The resort had so many options for families to meet during the evening to sit outside and enjoy the ambiance together. The evening programs offered entertainment every night for the guests to watch. The selection of buffet food offered every day for breakfast and dinner gave enough options for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans. At almost every location by the pools there were bars/cafes to get snacks and drinks. Prices were reasonable. Everyday there was a beach towel drop off location to deposit wet towels and in return you could pickup dry beach towels. The resort offers for a small fee additional pillows that can match to your liking. There is a small grocery store on site that an array of supplies that you might want on vacation. There are three tennis courts, one pickle ball court and a small playground (children 1 1/2 years old to 4 years old). There is a kid’s club there but I would consider it more so like a small daycare facility. The resort is about 7-8 minute walk to the beach. Make sure to get to the beach early (8:00) enough to reserve the layout chairs and the sun umbrellas. If not you will be sitting on the sand without shade.

The only two small things I did not like about the resort was that the pillows were too high for my neck (I like to sleep with a daun pillow). The resort could use an upgrade on the children’s playground and offer a few more activities to older children (i.e., game room, check out board games, hangout area). Other than that the resort was fantastic!

Amazing spa & lazy river. Very comfortable rooms & no trouble to get extra pillows when needed. Fab location with friendly staff.

Loungers around the pool are rather uncomfortable. We ended up getting the Bali beds instead, which were great. Water polo is held over one end of the lazy river, which seems a bit bizarre when there are other places it could be held that wouldn’t render the circuit unusable whilst it is in session for us lazy people who just want to float around in a loop. 😅 Hoping there will soon be an upgrade to the room TVs to allow device connectivity! 🤞

Only thing letting it down was the reception and front desk - they just were not that helpful. The service at the pool was great but under staffed. There were sections for different classes which was lame.

Fantastic outdoor area with 5 pools (and the coolest infinity pool we have swam in), beautiful palm garden and plenty of beds for all guests. Lovely pool bars. Great location near the sand dunes and the promenade.

Breakfast very basic and a bit chaotic- not good enough for that price category. Most staff quite cold and unfriendly - untypically for a hotel of that price category. Entertainment in the evening most days quite poor. Hotel rooms quite dark and old style (some might like that, though). We have stayed for that price in better hotels on the Canaries.

One thing to note is the hotel’s highly prestigious and classic ambience, with an unspoken expectation of formal attire. While I appreciated the elegance, I would have preferred prior notice to dress accordingly. Overall, everything was flawless. If you’re looking for a refined and luxurious stay, this hotel is an excellent choice!

They didn't mention the parking cost for guests. It doesn't have free parking.
