great location, and the hotel was lux!

we booked a room with a balcony at a higher price and received confirmation for the booking. when we checked in we were given our key and we went to our room which was not what we booked. we had to go back to reception and ask why. they did compensate us in the end but it would have been better if they advised us prior to getting to our room and us not having to request compensation.

Truly kind staff, from Vance the extraordinarily helpful valet to the incredible waitstaff and hotel workers. I was traveling with my sick father for a difficult trip, and they did everything to make us feel welcome. As the hotel workers strike made staffing difficult I'm sure, the staff really did their best to make up for odd hiccups (like that there aren't enough coffee pots at breakfast).

We had the ADA room and it was nearly perfect BUT the toilet wasn't raised to ADA height and the shower stool was coming lose from the wall. There are a couple small fixes that could make it really useful- the telephone to call the front desk needs to be moved down so a wheelchair user could reach it, as do the shampoo etc bottles in the shower. The manager was really responsive when I pointed out these issues, so I have hope!

Great hotel. Absolutely perfect location surrounded by great bars, cafes, and restaurants, friendly and helpful staff, excellent bar. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms, and the rooftop pool is a great spot to unwind and soak up sun.

The only (very, very minor) issue that we experienced is that the TVs were a little outdated and did not connect to the internet, have any streaming platforms, etc. Not a major deal by any stretch, but if you were hoping to unwind with some TV or a movie after a long travel day, or stream music/YouTube, you're out of luck.

This hotel is gorgeous. The styling and design was right up my alley and I love how they paid attention to the little details such as the lighting, the way the room numbers were displayed, or the way it smelt in the lobby (which was amazing btw). The staff were always kind and accommodating, I was even allowed to check in early as my room was ready which was great. I was in love with my room, the bed was comfy and the furniture was super cute. The bathroom was really nice too and the Diptyque products provided were divine. You really get what you pay for, a lavish boutique experience. The location is fantastic too, not a far walk from the grove and farmer’s market, the beverly centre is a really close walk too. There’s a lot of great shops and restaurants either within walking distance or a short drive. I did stay here solo but a friend visited me during my stay and loved it. I would definitely love to come back with friends or with my partner in the future, or maybe even check out some of the other Palihouse locations!

Very nice recently refurbished hotel in a great location. Rooms are decorated to a high standard and have nice touches like a fridge and microwave in-room. The balcony was cool and overlooked a nice part of town. The bar was nice. The staff were very friendly and the standard of the amenities and the cleanliness of the hotel were both first rate.

Staff were a bit confused about charges - nobody could tell me how much the security deposit is, and I was also incorrectly charged for minibar and parking - neither of which I used, and I had to call to get a refund on the minibar costs. It's a new hotel though and this was the only minor issue, which I'm sure will be ironed out with time. Also, weirdly, the bed is in the centre of the room, which means there's no easy access to a power socket - so charging your phone and having it near you at night is not easy. The pizza place over the road is open until 4am and they blast music out onto the street, which can be heard in the room I was in.

New, comfortable, well positioned, beautiful, well decorated hotel.

Perhaps it is because it is new, but the staff is not warm therefore the experience in the hotel is not warm. Lacks of hospitality in a certain way. Small things like the request of having more hangers and nobody brings it to you, or whatever small request (for example: if they could charge the phone in the reception) is answer with a dry no, and that you can find it in the Target store. Less important: the hotel takes a deposit for the nights you are staying which it gives back at the end of your stay (I wasn't aware of it and I didn't find it normal)

It was such a great experience staying at the Palihouse West Hollywood. The design is absolutely fabulous and there is a great attention to details. The service was great. It feel like we were transported to a different area, when place and service are there to make you feel great. We also like spending a couple of hours by the pool which is a gem by itself.

I loved everything. The only con is the cost of the valet parking, but it is on par with other parking in the area.

I used to stay at this hotel years ago, when it was still "The Orlando"... i was a little worried of the feeling I could have. I must say the hotel is even better than before, the room was super nice, and the staff amazing. Andrii, Aliah and Jonathan at the counter was super helpful (we've had some problems with our credit card, plus we had to stay for an additional night as our flight was cancelled and they were super nice and professional)

The decoration of the hotel is wonderful! Every corner is super nice. The rooms are very big, clean and comfortable. In-room Dyptique toiletries, are a nice plus!The location of the hotel is very good. Definitely if I come back to L.A. I will repeat or go to any other Palihouse hotel!

The parking is quite expensive (nearly $50 a day) but there is no need to park it there as you can park it on the street but don’t leave anything inside as at night they can break the windows to steal from you.

We were so happy with our stay at the Palihouse. Having stayed at the same site when it was The Orlando, we were excited to see all the new changes. Our room was contemporary, very comfortable and had every amenity one could need. Every staff member we spoke with was helpful and welcoming. In particular, Andrii at the front desk went out of his way to assist us with a time-sensitive matter. He was understanding of our dilemma and took quick action to resolve the problem. We departed with huge smiles and look forward to our next visit.
