Lovely rooftop terrace with a beautiful view of the beach and coast, and nice lower level patio. Right on the beach, but not in the bustle of the Venice Beach tourist area. Some restaurants right around the corner, and close to the canals. On a quiet street. Friendly staff.

No coffee, and shower pressure was low. As far as value, I think for the beach area, it was one of the more affordable options, but still seemed a bit pricey- I guess that’s LA! In the future I’d probably stay in Santa Monica instead for more shops, restaurants, and better vibe. I thought Venice Beach would be bohemian, with vintage shops, etc., but it was more touristy stuff - there wasn’t much vintage, and what was there was incredibly overpriced. A place to see, but maybe not to stay unless it’s nice and hot and you can just lay on the beach- which was just out front of the hotel!

Location is fantastic to get around LA just away from the hustle and bustle of muscle beach and you can restaurant or bar would you ever way you want to go?

it would be great if there were a few sun loungers up on the roof, it was very windy and the roof terrace is sheltered. tea/coffee making facilities would be great.

the pillows were horrible. the bathroom was so tiny! the rooms were situated off a small hall and our door was about 4 feet from the tiny desk of the hotel clerk.

Location in the first line of the Beach, close to restaurants/bars and Airport. Nice Beach view from patio. Own car park.

Standard rooms are very small, with micro bathroom. Beds not very comfy.

Excellent location

On the beach and close to shops. We have stayed here before, so we knew what was what as far as the size of the room and being somewhat outdated. It can be a little expensive, but it serves its purpose. You are right on the beach!! I did have one minor issue, but the young man working today (7/12) took care of it, so I have no complaints and Joe/Joseph, I believe... I can't remember his name right at the moment. He was there at check-in- he's amazing as well!! We will stay here again.

It was wonderful being right on the beach, no roads to cross to get to the beautiful ocean! Beautiful back patio and rooftop deck. Hotel was small but set up well to accommodate guests. Shopping and food choices within walking distance so you don't need to drive anywhere if you so choose.

Very small parking area for your vehicle. My car was actually hit on the rear bumper leaving visual damage but no note or anyone to claim responsibility. Cars, people on bikes or just walking can be quite loud in the alley behind the hotel.

Venice on the Beach Hotel is in a prime location to enjoy the Pacific Ocean beach and the vibrant Venice Beach community life on its very doorstep. Nearby restaurants within a short walking distance provide an opportunity for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The hotel itself is comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful.

It is difficult to reach the hotel with next to no parking space, a poor bus service and taxi cabs few and far between.
