Big, comfortable room, quiet place despite being right next to main road. All was clean and very close to ocean, safe neighborhood.

Missing forks, plates, knives and spoon despite kitchen being present.

Good sized room in a convenient location. Having the small kitchen was great and the bathroom was a good size too.

A little tired and dated but well cared for.

I had very low expectations based ln the reviews here. The property is not in a sketchy area at all. I did not feel threatened. The outward appearance of the place is lackluster and perhaps a bit off-putting, but the room is spacious and clean and colorful with everything you need. The $1 bus to Venice Beach is directly across the street, as is in and out burger, and the bus does run on Sundays. You will be within walking distance of Rockenwager which I recommend for breakfast and Ginger's ice cream a little further up Washington.

The woman at check-in could have smiled a bit. There was no sense that she was happy to see me or grateful for the patronage. No, "anything you need, please ask..."

Wifi was surprisingly good, kitchenette with microwave and small fridge was a nice addition, and very generous with free amenities.

Plumbing would occasionally screech. Fixed it by turning off the water to the toilet overnight, but not ideal. Air conditioner was also quite noisy, so didn't feel that I could run it overnight.

Area is a good location but outside the property the homeless problem and street people are everywhere along with a marijuana store not far. Keep your eyes open if walking especially at night. I was woke up one Saturday evening with people screaming. While not a reflection on the owners of the property- just be vigilant.

Room was clean and comfy. Location was excellent. Better than I expected. Price was very reasonable, better than others. I plan to use this motel again on my next trip. The guy at the front desk was extremely pleasant.

Can't say enough good things! The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious, and clean, with amazing water pressure in the shower, soft towels, and the toiletries were lovely! The owners were incredibly friendly, and helpful! And the location was fantastic. Easy walk to beaches, quick scooter ride to major attractions, not a bad uber/lyft ride to the Hollywood area. And plenty of food options all around!

This place is great value for the price. It’s about a 25 min walk to Venice Beach or you can get the bus. The room was clean, although it smelt a little of cider vinegar. We were able to leave our car until 1pm after we checked out. it had a small kitchenette which was useful and it’s near a 7 Eleven and a great cafe called Variable Cafe. It’s by no means fancy but you get what you pay for and we had no complaints.

The rooms were in need of modernising. It smelt a bit of cider vinegar.

The couple that runs the property, Sam & Mita were extremely nice with us! we even extended our stay 2 times. the place has an excellent location and it’s close to the beach. there is a small kitchenette in the room that we loved! it saved us lots of money. there is also daily maid service and parking. if back in LA we will for sure come back.

Good Location, in and Out Burger on the other Side of the street. Comfortable.

One towel Had stains. Environmental unconscious: towels and bar of soap replaced without any need. Loud AC (heating). Smoking was allowed in Front of the rooms. Neighbour was a heavy smoker and as the doors were not really insulated, our room smelled Like smoke. No door Lock.
