i advise all my friends if they are planning to go to Bangkok to book in this hotel as it has a very good location everything around , MOST of the mall are around no need to take a car you can walk like siam paragon , siam discovery , central world and mbk Starbucks in front of the hotel and open 24 hours massage places all around the hotel all of restaurants few minutes around the hotel rooms are so clean and perfect size breakfast area and food are so good

sometime there are a bad smell in the hallways and in the lobby kindly consider my comment for better services to take care of the smell of the hotel

Convenient location, easy access to train station and malls. We got a free upgrade to a newly renovated deluxe room too! :)

The ‘Do not disturb’ light seems to turn off shortly after leaving the room, not sure if it was defective. We did not want the room to be disturbed on some days but it was made up anyway.

Near BTS Near a lot of massage and spa Near or short walking distance to 4 faced buddha and lots of major shopping malls, such as mbk, siam paragon, central, big c, platinum mall, siam square.

The lift have to be upgraded with security (now is without card access security). The shower head should not be next to the bathroom door, it should be in the inner side of the bathroom away from door. The pool needs to be clean frequently as it’s very unhygienic with the black particles and hair floating in the pool. The pool floor tiles are very rough and very slippery for the ceramic part to step on it. Drive in Entrance from gantry towards Novotel is very very jammed most of the day, have to do something about the traffic.

Housekeeping - while they were friendly, they need to be more careful in disposing items from guest rooms. The Housekeeping team disposed of my items in a paper bag which were placed near my luggage (far away from rubbish bin). It was neither rubbish nor disposable items - thankfully not valuable items ; so not sure why they disposed it. Also, we had to keep requesting for iron & ironing board every day as it kept being taken away when they could just leave it in the room or at least ask us prior to removing if it is still needed.

The seafood barbecue buffet in the evening was awesome! Having a small play area for kids in the lobby made it possible for us as parents to enjoy the live music in the bar in the lobby at evenings for a little while. The bar and staff in the bar was great as well. Overall great and friendly staff and anything in and around Siam is easy to reach from the hotel. May it be by walking to MBK, Siam Paragon, or taking a taxi/tuktuk to Central Festival, or kids places like OceanWorld etc.

No iron & Iron board in the room. Only one huge heavy (arm)chair and a small stool to sit at the table in the room. Not ideal when being with 2 adults and 2 kids in a room. We would love to come back and be able to book a real family room.

The entrance lobby layout has a fantastic and comforting view. There were comfortable sofas placed right outside the guest lift of every level. It gives a nice view of the hotel pool below us. Although we did not use the gym facility, we appreciate the free gym available for guests. As our room is of a higher level, we are able to enjoy the view of the BTS train track and CentralWorld. The interior designing of the dinning place for breakfast buffet felt warming, so much like an indoor food street market! The hotel staff were caring, thoughtful and very friendly. The TV in the room is big enough and have both local and international channels for viewing. The best thing was its location within the hearts of Siam, walking distances to Siam Square area, Siam Paragon and Siam BTS. It is also situated near attractions such as CentralWorld, MBK Centre and Chulalongkorn University (both locals and tourists are able to experience a free visit to Museum of Human Body in the university upon walk in *please research before going*)

Although the scrambled eggs in the breakfast buffet were exceptional good and being served by patient and courteous chef, there is a lack of variety of food options. A few more options made available for each section would be excellent. There was also minor water leakage in the corner of our room toilet. It will be appreciated if the windows of the room are maintained and cleaned. There were also no iron found in my room which was stated that there were earlier on. Overall, it is a nice stay in Novotel Siam Square.

the staff were responsive and polite. Each and every staff seemed to be able to handle our needs rapidly. When we needed new keys for our room they came to test our keys and brought new keys immediately. the gym was adequate, the pool needs more sun chairs, and the staffing around this area, gym and spa were all responsive. Front desk was as good as it gets, considering my language barrier.

1) Hotel needs the rooms to be refreshed; 2) pool side needs a definite upgrade with new pool side lounge chairs for sunning; and 3) door locks on our floor need to be changed for the proximity lock, not the magnetic slide in card locks.

Great hospitality and support by the staff

Great location. Very well connected with the public transportation system in Bangkok and close to major malls and shops. Requested a room on a high floor and was granted one with a nice view.

There was no security guard by the side door and the elevators did not require a card for access, so anyone can walk in and go to any room at any time. Not sure how safe the area is but this didn't seem very safe to me.
