I found myself and family needing to stay a night in Abu Dhabi, my budget was a bit tight as it was in planned stay. Found the uptown apartments online. Decent and neat place, staff very friendly and accommodating. Apartment was good size near and tidy. Self catering option good. Over all great stay and I would definitely return.

I just felt It could have been priced less and posted inclusive of all the taxes added at checking in. Being self catering the kitchen unit could do with a full set of cutlery and crockery. The cooking utensils were clean but not well cleaned, example the pot n pan had residue of previous cooking burn inside and carbon build up.

My studio was impeccably clean when I arrived, also cleaned every day. A few bottles of water were left in the kitchen every day, as well as tea bags/coffee. Fast WiFi. The hotel is not new, but my studio was comfortable and quiet, with a huge comfortable bed. I really liked the location less than 20 min walk to a free beach. Lots of cafes, restaurants and supermarkets around( I recommend Lulu which is part of the World Trade Center). There is a wine shop on the ground floor of the building (separate entrance). It was really easy to get to from the airport, bus A2. Huge thank you to AHMED at the reception who made everything to make my stay great. DONNA was also very kind and helpful.

Uptown hotel is providing the good and comfortable stay in reasonable price and staff is nice and accommodating. The place and location is also amazing and all the good restaurants and daily use items are available in near vicinity. We stayed there for a month and enjoyed our stay for this tenure.

For the guests staying longer, they should provide more equipment in Kitchen and currently only one stove is being provided to cook. Room cleaning should be done more frequently as each alternate day.

We spent 1 week at Uptown Hotel and everything was amazing in the apartment we booked. the apartment was big and very comfortable. Every day they cleaned the apartment, changed sheets and towels and left tea, coffee and water in the kitchen. All the staff were very polite and helpful for anything you needed. The location was perfect, close to the bus station, supermarkets and the sea. You don't need to cook at all because Lulu supermarket offers a variety of traditional foods at very reasonable prices. I highly recommend to spend more than 1 week at this hotel. I am thinking to turn back again this year at Uptown hotel. Thank you.

Check-in was quick and smooth. The room was comfortable and clean. I requested a room on a higher-floor, and they fulfilled my request. The bed was comfortable. First the pillow was too hard for me, but I requested a soft one, and I got it very soon. The shower has hot water. In the nearby there are many restaurants and bus stops, so the hotel has a very good location. This is a guest-friendly hotel.

I have nothing negative about this hotel. Because it's in the downtown, sometimes you can hear the little noise from outside, but that's normal, and actually I was very tired every evening, so I slept very well.

It is fairly well located, great stuff, very helpful, 24/7 service is very comfortable. Room was spacious, bed was amazing! Big and with great linen! Fridge worked well, small kitchenette was of help. Bathroom was good, all was functioning well.

The kettle didn`t work. They changed it quickly. The washing machine for clothes didn`t work at all, they also fixed it, in 1 day. There was a small cockroach entering or room on the 3rd day. We killed it and never complained. We felt a bit like hotel-quality-testers eventually, as we had to go around and ask to fix one thing after another. The stuff was great and really quick in helping though.

These are great hotel-serviced apartments. Cleaning, linen replacement, and toiletry exchange were carried out daily. There was also a daily supply of fresh water, as well as tea and coffee. All requests were responded to promptly. On the first day, we found that the kettle was leaking. It was immediately replaced. The staff are very friendly. The location is excellent. Nearby are the Corniche waterfront, public transport stops, cafes, and supermarkets. There's also a basketball court nearby where people play basketball during both day and night, and sometimes even hold competitions.

As a recommendation for the owners it would be helpful to add some basic kitchenware: a frying pan, a deep plate, a cutting board, as well as a sharp kitchen knife, not a table knife. Additionally, it would be useful to include a sponge for washing dishes and a kitchen towel.

There were several good things: -The location is excellent. So many restaurants, shops etc -Very helpful, polite and English speaking staff -Comfortable bed and pillows -Enough equipment in the kitchenette -The room has a washing machine and you can ask to borrow a drying rack. No washing powder though but I bought some from a store next door for 2AED (45p ish) -Located within a 5 minute walk to the bus stop which takes you to the bus station for Abu Dhabi and the airport bus, which is why I booked. -It is above a liquor store 👍🥳 All in all, extremely good and I would stay here again if I came back to Abu Dhabi

Really, there was only one thing: the shower…it’s a shame, as everything else worked well and met my expectations, but the shower was poor and cold. In a place like Abu Dhabi, you need a good shower, and for it to be stone cold for a property of this rating is not good. There seemed to be little that could be done about it, and while it doesn’t stop the property achieving a good score, I can’t give a 10 when the shower was as poor as it was.

Decently sized room, every day cleaning, towel changes, regular sheet changes, new bottles of water... The hotel also has a nice location and is relatively affordable. The effective AC, the sun blocking curtains, the electric kettle and the clothes iron and ironing board were appreciated as well.

Some of the things in the room look a little "tired", like some of the bedding, that was clearly washed, but isn't and cannot be spotless anymore, and the same goes for some details in the bathroom. Also, apparently, the room once had a safe. Not a huge deal (we felt that our things were perfectly safe in the room), but still, another sign that the rooms aren't at their peak anymore.

Staff were really lovely and allowed us to check in early, room was really big with a comfy bed and air conditioning, a washing machine was able to be used (no powder) as well as a kitchen but it didn’t have much in it so we weren’t able to use it like we planned. Location is in a good spot, close to bus stops and local restaurants and there is also a gym in the building you can use with a number of pieces of equipment.

There was a constant bad smell, it smelt like a meat butcher and it was extremely unpleasant and wouldn’t go away even with the windows open
