The Habtoor Grand Resort was superb, rooms incredibly clean and comfortable, food was of a high standard, the pool was a little busy but the beach was incredible as were the gardens. the staff were incredible with a massive shout out for Natalia on reception who was so helpful and friendly, she went out of her way to make the room even more special for my wife's birthday, which was amazing, Vanessa on customer services desk who arranged for flowers for my wife and could not do enough for us during our stay. Sunita, our room maid was just incredible, our room was spotless and she seemed to know when we left the room as when we got back it had been made up and the little touches like the "towel figures" on our bed each day made us smile so much, she was so friendly and we think she is amazing.. Joseph who looked after us on the beach was also incredible, he would see us coming down the path to the beach and immediately find us two beds, exactly where we liked to be, so by the time we got tho the beach our sunbeds were waiting for us with towels laid out already, amazing service and a lovely man. all in all we had an amazing time and will certainly return in the future.

Not really the hotels fault but the daily "battle for the loudest music" between Zero Gravity beach club and Andrea's beach club was just too much at times, we wanted a relaxing beach holiday and at times, worst Friday, Saturday and Sunday, the unbearable levels of volume spoilt this for us and we had to move away from the beach, which was one of the main reasons for us booking the Habtoor, a real shame... other than that there was nothing that we didn't like or enjoy at the hotel.

Overall the whole stay was wonderful - Id also like to mention the following concierge staff who were alwats polite and attentive...My Son lost his mobile phone in a taxi and i reported to the concierge as I was in the Marina Mall at the time...They took this up and reported a case to RTA...When i arrived home later they had explained what they had done and i was hopeful the iPhone would be found..A couple of hours later, the concierge called me as the taxi had been traced and the phone returned. I was very impressed with this and must mention the following who work in the concierge area as they were very helpful throughout my stay but especially when the phone was lost Kaleem, Mohsin, Majis and Imran - Thankyou very much - You are all a credit to the Hotel

Couldnt complain, Great view from the 19th Floor facing the Ocean, Lovely breakfast choices, The Gym was brilliant,nice and spacious, great pools to relax in and also managed to dip into the nice Warm sea whilst i was there...Also used the SPA services and managed to get a Massage in which was thoroughly relaxing..and also hired a car from the rental company based in the lobby ......so cant really find any cause to complain

If you are going for a beach vacation - this is great place, you simply don't have to go out, everything is here - several restaurants, beach clubs (hotel's plus Zero Gravity nearby). Nice English pub is here as well where we enjoyed watching World Cup on the big screen in the beer garden. And Dubai Marian is just a short walk from the hotel.

You have to wake up early for breakfast otherwise it will be very crowded.

It is a nice hotel,clean, very good located, near Dubai Marina( 10 min walking), on the JBR beach. The staff helpfull and nice.

Unfortunately although the staff try to do their best to clean and to take care of the guests , the hotel need some improvments and to update some things to get to a 5 stars hotel. In my opinion right now it's a 4 star hotel. You have to stay in line to get fried egs or an omlet, the breakfast was poor and the same every morning. The italian restaurant was very expensive and the food not so good. I only give this rate because of the people working there who was very helpfull and nice!!!

perfect property for families with large pool, water slides and several restaurants and bars to enjoy in the evening all on site!

the only negative thing about our stay is the targeting of tourist being done in the lobby for a high pressure sales presentation for luxury living vacation club. they have men in the lobby offering you a free boat trip to attend an hour presentation. this turned out to be a 3 hour long very high pressure sales pitch and the free boat ride was just shocking! old wooden boat with a few crappy tables and inedible food. Do Not take this offer it is a total sham and I suspect a scam. I complained to the hotel management about this as they should not be allowing this to take place in their lobby. we felt deceived and wasted an entire afternoon of our holiday.

Something you do not see in other hotels with lower stars which is you need to stand in line daily and wait for a long time to get breakfast. The prices of the restaurants in the hotel are very expensive and not up to the required quality

check in guy was very professional and paying attention to the details room was clean and housekeeping did such a nice surprise for my husband bday with cake and room arrangements pool bar guys were excellent with service

dinner was very poor for Asian night it was very little options. kung pao chicken is basic Asian dish and it was not in the menu :(

We were upgraded to the sea vie balcony room, which had fantastic views of the sea and resort. The room itself was a good size and comfortable, we had the connecting room option where we felt safe and secure with our kids in the next room. The beds were very comfortable, and the other room amenities were of a good standard too. The breakfast on offer every morning was of a good quality and had a reasonable amount of options. The resort also has some onsite restaurants, we mainly ate lunch at the diner by the swimming pool, kids enjoyed the pizza there. The resort has a very good sized gym, pool, tennis courts and the private beach is easily accessible either by a short walk through the resort or via a buggy. The resort also has a kids area, however our kids preferred spending most of there time in the swimming pool and up and down the 2 slides, with one of the slides being good enough for adults to use. The location of the resort is excellent and only a short walk to Marina walk and Jumeriah walk, this offers plenty of places to eat and enjoy some casual strolling in the evening.

In the reception area you will often find someone from a company called Luxury lifestyle vacation club (LLVC). The sales person will tell you how they want to give you and your family a free gift (cruise, meal) if you attend a presentation at the Hilton City hotel. You will be told that it will take about an hour of your time, however we were there for at least 4 hours, as the company were trying to hard sell us there timeshare scheme. Please do your research before agreeing to go along as it can be very costly if you do sign up and then decide to cancel, luckily for us we didn't sign up. I feel the Habtoor hotel should not allow the sales people to sell the services of LLVC in the reception area of the hotel.

The staff was friendly, A room was ready a bit earlier as per my request which I really needed after a long flight.

Fantastic location - easy access to JBR, Marina and Bluewaters. All walking distance. The room was very spacious with beautiful toiletries and a view over the marina. Amazing breakfast with plenty of choice. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Plenty of sunbeds round the pool and on the beach and the food and drink we ordered on the beach was really good. We were there for Christmas and the decorations were beautiful, a lot of effort had been put into the festivities. This was my second visit and I'll definitely return.
