Staff member on reception was so nice on our arrival and was happy to answer all of our questions. Got to room and it was absolutely immaculate. After getting settled in myself and child went down to the pool which was small but perfect for what we wanted. That evening we ordered room service for dinner through the bar. Two staff members brought all our meals up and we're so helpful. The food was unreal after long wet day. Weve already started planning another wee night before Christmas🤞🤤

Not a massive amount to do for kids as more focused on adults which I respect.

Pool area was nice and the stream room . Nice comfortable beds clean rooms. Nice staff very friendly.

Didn't check in till 4.30 room was not ready .we had arrived at 3.45 check in is 4 which is late enough for check in most hotels are 3 . On the first morning I had to send back a lovely poached egg had it on my brown bread which turned out to be mouldy one bite I nearly got sick 🤢 had not seen the mould 😔morning we were leaving I went to dry my hair all the electrics went in the room phoned down to reception lady came up said the power had tripped might be my hairdryer to use the one in the bathroom tryed my own again wasn't working none of the sockets were and hair dryer in the bathroom didn't work either hence I drove home with wet hair . Apart from the mouldy bread our dinner was lovely on Saturday evening

The rooms are well appointed, with comfortable bedrooms, adequate desk space, and a lovely bathroom. The tea & coffee are well stocked. The coffee bar in the lobby and nearby bar are very convenient for meeting up with others. The location close to the city makes it easy to park while still being able to walk about, including the next door Palace grounds.

There were some stains on the carpet, which is unfortunate. Some of the seating in the lobby lounge is a little worn (upstairs balcony seats were torn). The music in the Callan Bar can be incredibly loud for no obvious reason. The breakfast eggs are not made to order, so always well done (no option for sunny side up or over easy).

Love how it looks, good food, nothing really to complain about.

First night in restaurant the waitress was perfect, nice and friendly, checking if I was happy with food, all good but second night different, waitress was different, not really a complaint but felt I just got bog standard service, given menu then drink not offered desert menu. No checking if everything was alright,having to ask for a drink when ordering food, usually asked if I want a drink while I'm deciding what I want to order. She wasn't rude or anything,might just be me being picky but there was a noticeable difference in service.

The spa pool not working .. no info on this , and on talking to other users and members this seems to be a regular occurrence.. think it should be replaced also the fact that is has just been left uncoved and looks dirty , let's the hotel down The steps into pool are a bit difficult especially for mobility issues.. need better hand grips as get very slippy Perhaps more vegetarian options for breakfast eg sausage etc

Bit of a mix up, I booked double/twin room but when I got there was informed it would be another £35 as apparently I entered 1 Adult at booking stage. Look its a lovely hotel, brand new, rooms are well specked, lovely breakfast, apart from the mix up the stay was excellent. So I am awarding high score as I am sure the issue was genuine mixup. Armagh a nice place to visit, decent bars and the excellent Markethall Theatre.

Shouldn't be an option for the above mix up to happen. Perhaps list a single room for 1 person and don't allow that as an option for the double. To me a double room is 2 people.

I think this was the nicest hotel breakfast buffet I've ever had. All the food was really well cooked, tasty and hot. It exceeded my expectations and I couldn't stop talking about the lovely breakfast for days afterwards!

Our breakfast enthusiasm was only tempered slightly by one surly staff member, who couldn't make eye contact even when directly asked a question. It seemed he wanted to be anywhere but on breakfast duty. Oh well, we can all have our off days! Thankfully the food was so nice it didn't bother us too much!

Rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Staff brilliant.

The long wait for my partners breakfast. She requested gluten and dairy free breakfast. Toast came 15 mins after placing order. Bacon a further 5mins later. Result, a cold breakfast. Coffee / tea machine would be helpful so customers can help themselves, rather than constantly having to chase down staff for extra. Gluten free bread possibly labelled and left out beside the toaster would be another suggestion.

The hotel was warm and vibrant. We enjoyed the leisure suite and our room was comfortable. We stayed here a year previous and had a lovely experience then too.

Everything was lovely and this isn't a criticism but being coeliac and unable to have dairy and pork it left breakfast options very limited. A GF cereal would be a welcome addition to the breakfast menu. There wasn't any tea or coffee on the breakfast tray when it was delivered to our room despite having ordered both as part of our breakfast. It would also be nice to have more than two teabags and one hot chocolate sachet in the room. Little things but they make a difference.

Went we go to the Armagh Theatre to a show, the hotel is so close, it's nice to stay over at the hotel. Also the ground floor area is very nice if you want to sit & read, chat, have a drink or a meal.

Honestly we enjoyed our stay. However, one thing we didn't like was in the evening. The young staff, who were busy moving tables, stepped around or over a gentleman's jacket that had fallen off his chair. They seen it,but ignored it. Also a lady in a wheelchair got drinks at the bar. She then made her way out to the lobby. Her lap had several bottles on it and she had a glass in one hand. She had to move her chair with one hand. An order staff member wouldn't have let either of those happen. A bit of training around such matters would set a better example. It's fixable.
