Really clean and comfortable hotel. Food was excellent. Room was really good size and immaculate. Easy access and good parking. Everything you needed for a perfect stay was available, hairdryer, toiletries, towels, tea/coffee making facilities. Ideally located, tram/bus stops 2 minutes walk, lovely quiet area away from all the hustle and bustle in main area of Blackpool yet plenty of places to go if you want a night out. Franco, the proprietor, is brilliant, nothing is too much trouble for him. Makes you feel so welcome right from your arrival. Highly recommend Collingwood hotel. 5* in every way.

Nothing to dislike

Franco & Family were Lovely and made us feel like one of the family, Food was great too, rooms clean, and beds really comfortable,, nothing to much trouble for Franco & Family, For the price you pay it's. Really good hotel Malcolm & Michael Lamont. 4 Star rating.

No lift , stairs are not wide for large cases, Some rooms the en suite shower bathroom's Are quite cramped,for a large person ,but very clean , Which is why it doesn't get 5, Stars.

Everything was good 10 out of 10 from me, Franco was very welcoming, and also informative as well, nice manners, also his wife was very nice and pleasant when i went for breakfast, my room was very bright and clean, breakfast was excellent and filling.

To many stairs to my room, thats the only fault, but my knees are not good and it was hard for me going up and down the stairs three or four times a day. Everything else was great.

On arrival we was greeted and was able to access our room straight away, the room was spotless clean through out with every thing needed . Breakfast was excellent served hot and was good to start the day. We also took our 2 yr old grandson with us who was made welcome. This is a very nice well run hotel and will stay here again on future visits to Blackpool.

There was nothing to dislike

Couldn't ask more from the hotel. A exceptionally friendly welcome from Franco, who couldn't do enough for me including offering to make me breakfast early on Sunday morning as I had a train to catch. Great location for catching the tram and bus, and it's a nice stroll into town for fitter people.

Nothing really. The room was dated, but this is a project for Franco, and he'd done a great job in redecoration of the lounge and breakfast room.

Franko was amazing and really helpful, sorry dont know the young lads name but he was lovely aswell

The bedroom was at the top of the hotel, heat rises and the weather was very hot while we was there, my only suggestion would be either change the window so you can open it wide or provide a fan for a deposit

Lovely staff,nice rooms and lovely breakfast. I'm a big eater so I'd have liked a bigger breakfast but that's just me being greedy.parking is free,and that is rare to find in blackpool

Hotel looks pretty bad from the outside.i actually thought I'd been scammed when I pulled up.it looks derelict.but once inside it is very nice

Good location. Five minutes walk to the sea front and to the tram stop. Quiet with parking on site. Single room was spotless and a decent size. Bed had a nice firm mattress, which I liked. Good Wi-Fi throughout. Small flatscreen tv in room, but huge one in ground floor lounge. The hosts, Franco and his young son were extremely friendly and efficient, and served a nice cooked breakfast.

Franco's attention to every detail in making this hotel (located in the North Shore of Blackpool,) was evident throughout. The breakfast was outstanding, there was room service and fresh towels each day and the hotel was spotless throughout. I'd highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a quiet, pretty hotel in Blackpool.

Franco was very nice and more than willing to help with anything we may have needed. We enjoyed the english breakfast which was perfectly cooked by him. The dining room is very nice and tables well situated, making for an relaxing room in which to eat.

The shower is a bit tired looking but Franco did say he has plans to renew it with a new shower cubicle, but everything was clean and served its purpose. The stairs were a little challenging for me but overall we were happy with our stay and if ever we return to Blackpool in future I would seriously consider staying there again.
