The room was a family room so a good size. The bath was nice. Everything was clean and the staff at the reception where friendly. It is very close to the beach however the town, the main beach and piers are a 10 minute walk away. There is a bar near reception with occasional entertainment.
The hinges on the windows are broken. It's impossible to fully close the windows so it was quite noisy from the main road and tram line. Free WiFi is only available in the public areas so if you don't have your own mobile Internet you have to pay extra. No socket next to the bed. Bedside table at only one side. Bathroom handle hanging off. The telly is out of the Arc. It isn't even wide-screen.

Breakfast was plenty. Scrambled egg a bit over done and no mushrooms. First room we had was not deserving of the price. Window handles broken off so you couldn't open them. Everything is a little pokey for the price I paid. Staff were very happy to exchange rooms and glad we did as this was a lovely spacious room with proper sea views. Very happy. Staff were very helpful with anything I asked for, thankyou. The hotel itself has fantastic ceilings and light fittings, colourful stained windows and nicely carpeted through out, so fitting with an olde named hotel. We enjoyed our stay here.
The doors to the rooms does not do the lovely hotel justice. Look like prison doors!

This our 4th return to the Savoy. Great team of friendly staff, great base to see the delights of blackpool, rooms are well equipped n very comfortable n very clean. For a old beautiful building its very comfortable n clean. Had entertainment on Thursday night when we was there brilliant singer had a great voice. We are already booking for later in the year to come back. Well what can we say its a great friendly place to stay while enjoying all that blackpool is good at giving you .
The only thing is water pressure isn't brilliant but you can still have a very pleasant hot shower.

Given a quiet room on the second floor not far from the lift - much appreciated due to mobility problems. Bed was basic but sufficiently comfortable for a good night's sleep. Room and en suite very well maintianed and clean. Dinner was really enjoyable with a good choice at the buffet and a list of potential allergens on display for the benefit of those with specific food intollerance. Similarly, breakfast offered a very good choice and proved very appetising. The staff were pleasant and obliging.
Someone two rooms away, thinking only of themselves, decided to turn on the radio at midnight and it stayed on all night long! It was audible but not too intrusive and the situation was remedied with a couple of pieces of cotton wool - so no need to raise a complaint. Felt sorry for those closer to the noise, unless the neighbouring room was unoccupied, as nobody appeared to have complained (as the radio was still audible at 6 a.m.). Not really down to the hotel, more to the 'me! me! me!' society we seem to live in these days..

beautiful old hotel inside with high ceilings elegant to the eye we loved our trip last time . The view was stunning through the bay window looking onto the seafront. Great staff very helpful and a delicious breakfast maybe a little pricey for my child to not eat her meal but otherwise brilliant .?
The architecture was still in tact some furniture was a bit dated but the cleanliness made up for that. Good value for the whole package as we personally were given a sea view room going spare for no extra cost.?

Staff were friendly and extremely helpful. Rooms were very clean and spacious. Location is close enough to the ‘touristy’ parts of Blackpool, but far enough away so it is quiet at night. There are some really pretty areas including a small garden with a water feature and some rocks/cliffs which are really nice to sit near to take in the sights. Tram and bus stops are right outside the hotel, as well as a few local shops and a pub. Breakfast was delicious and had lots of variety. Overall, we had a great stay and we really enjoyed our trip to Blackpool.
No faults from the hotel. There were some kids running up and down the hallways into the late hours of the night.

All the Staff were amazing, friendly and informative..The room was clean and fresh....We had bed , breakfast and evening meal,we only paid £113 for two of us,so wasn't expecting much but the food was lovely ,good choice and plenty of it both at dinner and breakfast...,and we didn't have to pay for parking neither..😊.The dining room staff were friendly and worked very hard .. reception staff were welcoming and informative, don't believe all the bad reviews,we were a little apprehensive about going but we were pleasantly surprised, yes the furniture is slightly old fashioned, but it goes with the theme of the hotel and it did the job..our bathroom was modern with a lovely jacuzzi style bath...

Great value for money Great location Easy check in/check out Very clean Great breakfast providing continental and buffet style full English breakfast Staff very helpful and very friendly Stayed in a basic room which still had all facilities ie bathroom had soap, shower gel, hand and bath towels , Room had tissues, kettle, cups, decent tea, coffee and milk, vanity desk, good hairdryer with decent mirror and lighting, wardrobe with hangers, extra pillows, ironing board and iron. The hotel is old and a listed building but has character and staff have pride in it and it is kept exceptionally clean . Would stay again without hesitation.

The Savoy is usually my first choice in Blackpool because it is cheap but comfortable. It has a tram stop right outside the door, some of the rooms have a sea view, there are lovely stained glass windows in the stairwell, it's nice and warm, and the beds are comfortable. The bathrooms are rather variable but the one I had this time was nice. My stay started badly when I could not get into the room I had been allocated because of a problem with the lock, but the nice man on reception came up with a key for the room next door and put me in there instead, and it was a bigger room, so this turned what was shaping up to be a very annoying experience into a big plus. Oh, and next morning I saw a locksmith fixing the lock next door, so well done for being on top of that.
The premium wifi is not free, you have to pay for it. Supposedly you can get free wifi in the bar area, but it's rubbish.
