Lovely clean hotel and food was Beautiful

The bathroom window had no blind.

Really enjoyed our time at the Doric Hotel all amenities were really good Staff are all friendly breakfast and dinner are well served, nightly entertainment is really good

We purchased the all inclusive package did not like that it finished at 10 o’clock, maybe if you want to save money you could start it at 2 o’clock and let people enjoy their night it’s not as if your shows stop at 10!!!!

I loved that there was an indoor and outdoor pool and spa facilities. It's in a great location tram right outside that takes you into the city centre and other prime locations. The hotel had evening entertainment each night and bingo with cash prices. The room was nice spacious bathroom lots of storage space, a fridge which we didn't see till we were leaving, full length mirrors and tv.

The staff on reception wasn't the warmest, felt like we were bothering them. The breakfast options are so small we got one tiny hashbrown every other day, for the price we paid a good size breakfast should be included. We got there early and had to wait for our room to be ready at 3pm which was fine but once we got into our room there was hair on the bed and in the bathtub seemed like a rush job.

Food was excellent and staff helpful and friendly. Location is nice and quite and has easy access to the tram. The stop is directly opposite the hotel. Nightly entertainment was superb 👌

The lift on the side of the hotel where our bedrooms were located broke down on the first day of our stay and was still not repaired when we left on Friday. My Dad uses a stick and struggled getting up and down to the first floor throughout our stay. Using the lift on the otherside of the hotel was not an option as the distance walking across the length of the 1st floor to his room was too far. We were on the 4th floor and struggled with our luggage but on the plus side we got plenty of exercise during our stay 😉

Room was very small this time but clean, unfortunately had noisy neighbors so not much sleep all week . Meals were good they were very accommodating with my requirements. Jerry on reception is amazing and very helpful, swimming pool was freezing outdoors unfortunately, and sauna was broke, the broken lift did cause issues as s one lift for such a. Big hotel isn't sufficient and had to press button 22 times before it came to my floor to move luggage which was very frustrating, have been coming many years and would stay again, love Liam and the other entertainment was very good also, shame Krazy Karl wasn't there he only does weekends now apparently

Veg soup was inedible one night as was extremely salty, breakfast hit and miss. I think the chefs specials should be an option everyday many people have said this, sauna and lift need fixing , room was too small

All the staff were excellent throughout the hotel and I cannot praise the dining room staff enough, especially Jonathan who was always helpful with our needs at meal times.

The bedroom we stayed in number 31 needs to have some blinds on the bathroom window as it faces the promenade and everyone can see you from outside when it’s dark even though it’s got frosted glass on it. The mattress was very hard and lumpy and myself and partner struggled to get comfortable. The bar staff worked extremely hard but people had to form a long queue on one night because there were not enough staff behind the bar to serve them and collect the dirty glasses.

Balcony room with pool view was lovely. One small issue we had was lack of shelves for underwear but plenty of wardrobe space for everything anyway. Room very spacious so suggestion would be small chest of drawers or shelves put into the large wardrobe space! The entertainment was excellent with Bingo,singers and shows. Separate room for kids entertainment.Excellent location with plenty of free parking. Food and drinks excellent! Good all inclusive package with tram and bingo tickets included. Lovely outdoor pool area with bar and sun loungers. Music around the pool great atmosphere next best thing to being abroad when the weather is good pool lovely and warm. Indoor pool and jacuzzi anyway so this hotel has everything. Improvements made since our last visit with refurbishments so hopefully this will continue in other areas over time. Highly recommended.

Value for money.only done b+b ate evening meal with the grandaughter on the 1st night.3 course meal £22 adult.£11 for Grandaughter lovely meal. Ordered cheese and crackers for my dessert.couldnt eat it all .Ella gave us extra crackers wrapped it in cling film and took it to our room for after kids entertainment, which she absolutely loved... 1st 2 nights female entertainment for kids was Exceptional..3rd night a male wasn't good .interaction with kids was poor . Pool was fab small but I could let my grandaughter swim and could sit at the side and watch her as only 3 meter deep . Our waitress Ella was her 1st shift she was perfect.. She told us ."you are my my Favourite people" made my grandaughters night.. She still talks about Ella ..x

The lift went out of order..although something without you control.. These things happen.. Tiles in the changing room dangerous too slippy. Should have non slip

This hotel was spotless and the staff were all lovely. The bar prices were reasonable and all public area’s are modern and welcoming.

We booked a quadruple room, which was located in what they call the annex. Which we did not know about until we received an email a couple of days before. The annex is a large house which is located at the back of the main hotel. So when going for meals or using any hotel facilities we had to leave the house and walk outside and in to the hotel. There are 4 rooms in the annex/house and our was lovely, spacious, clean and modern. Couldn’t fault it however we still would have preferred to be in the main part of the hotel.

Great welcome. The room was ready early. The hotel throughout was very clean . Bedding was of excellent quality as were the towels. Food was good and staff excellent 👌

We booked an all inclusive package which included drinks and food. The all inclusive bar went off at 10pm which wasn't what we and other guests expected as we were not informed at any point throughout our stay. The bar staff took the hit in terms of complaints, this should be advertised at the point of sale. Perhaps above the bar , it would avoid any problems occurring
