Everything about my stay exceeded my expectations. The room, Annex 5, was top notch, comfortable, clean, quiet, and convenient. Located directly across from the Old Tintagel Post Office, walking distance to the Castle Ruins walk, Castle Hotel , where you can have a delicious coffee on the terrace, visit the shops, and enjoy a Cornish Cream Tea. Delicious breakfast options and I dined, both nights in the restaurant and both meals were delicious. The staff was wonderful and made me feel at home, Jess, Dale, and the breakfast waitress where fantastic as were the courteous housekeeping staff. Was a beautiful two days.

Breakfast was very good with varied choices to suit all, evening meals are also varied & good choice, large portions. Staff were extremely helpful & attentive, nothing was too much trouble throughout the stay. Rooms were much larger than expected, clean & good selection of Teas & coffee. The area was clean & locals were very friendly & chatty, so take the time to be the same. Would recommend staying here. Parking pass given from the hotel, allows you to park free for the duration of your stay with the added benefit of using the car park free for the rest of the day once booked out.

Everything met our expectations, no issues.

We had a two bedroom annex attached to the Pub (bit like a Motel). The rooms are comfortable, clean and it has a modern bathroom. Tea and coffee is provided in the room. The big standout for us was the breakfast and parking. We have never before had the option to eat both continental and cooked breakfast (it is usually one or the other). You will not leave the breakfast table hungry, that's for sure. Parking is free and you can even stay in the carpark after you check out if you still have things to see and do. Staff at Breakfast are super friendly.

A little bit of noise from the carpark up to about midnight when everyone leaves the pub (it is in the centre of the village after all), but after that it is lovely and quiet, so we had a good sleep. (We had our window open so I imagine it is hardly heard with it closed).

This is a bar and restaurant with character in the heart of Tintagel. My room was better than I expected with good cotton sheets, a double shower and double glazing it looked like it had been recently refurbished. The staff were relaxed and helpful as I needed to extent my booking. Cleaning staff were bright and friendly. Breakfast was a choice of cooked options as well as continental and was very large portions. The room had piping hot water and a large heated towel rail as I needed to dry my coat.

Breakfast is only one hour from 830 to 930 and check out at 10am. It was OK for me but may be a rush with a few small children, but I'm sure the staff Team would work round this.

There is plenty of (paid) parking nearby but you can get a permit to use the large town car park right next door when you check in. Check in is at the bar as you go in and we received a warm welcome from the lady behind the bar. Our room wasn't quite ready and we were given a pint by way of apology. This was such good service and I was not in the least annoyed! Props to the establishment. The room was excellent. It is very large and it had an accessible wet room. I don't need that but I noted it was of very good quality so if you require that, it's really good I think, with so much room and all the necessary assists. Top job. I felt like I had rented a small flat for a night. It was great. Everything you need well laid out for everyone whatever their needs. If I had a cooker in there I could live in it.

There's nothing to not like. The place is great. Everything about it was good.

Loved the classic British pub/inn, so glad we found this place! I booked a single double room for myself, and a triple bed room for my friends, and we were all quite comfortable. Despite being right over the pub, the rooms were very quiet. Appreciated the tea and coffee amenities and the hot water pot in the room. Hot towel rail did heat up the bathrooms a lot, but also kept our towels warm and dry, so that was nice! Location was spectacular, right in the heart of Tintagel; included in our stay was a delicious breakfast and free parking in the car park recommended for reaching Tintagel Castle and nearby attractions. Would absolutely return and recommend to others!

Hot towel rails made the bathrooms quite warm! The bathroom for the single double room was a bit tight, which made one prone to accidental burns on the hot rail if one turned too fast, but easy to avoid if you changed in the room instead.

Excellent breakfast and served fast with helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Eggs as you like them. Couldn't face the extra large English breakfast but the normal was perfect.

There was no shower mat available in the walk- in shower and the shower tray was very slippery with absence of not slip surface. There was also no grab handle on the wall to assist when etering and exiting the shower. This is a shame as the bathroom was in superb condition and well decorated and appointed. Also very clean and tidy. Pillows were rather too firm for my personal comfort.

Wonderful spacious and comfortable accommodation with separate lounge area (leather sofa, reclining chair, coffee table, TV and console table with tea/coffee making facilities.).Very generous & comfy single and superking beds, sumptuous linen, fabulous shower facilities and generous sized bathroom .All very welcome after walking SW Coastal path. Really friendly & helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast in the morning. Would highly recommend.

A bit hot overnight but there were windows which we opened for ventilation. No AC.

Best dinner on trip! Amazing beef pie… can’t think of the proper name. Room was very large and clean-two bedrooms- had one of the annexes. Great location and felt safe. Room was much better in person than in pics. I think they renovated/have older pics on booking.com-at least for the room we had.

Nothing but perhaps the bartenders could have been a little more friendly. Felt awkward checking in and also asking questions since there is no “front desk”. The woman who checked us in was helpful and friendly though.
