The staff is excellent at their job and kind, The cleaning was perfect, The area is nice 10/15 min to the nearest grocery shop / city shopping centre, loads of stores and services around, and beautiful sites to see.

The room had a "walk in shower" was just a single bathroom and they removed the door so the neighbours can see you take a shower, , and in the description of the room it had"" a plasma TV"" that actually was a A4 paper size small TV, Cracks and holes visible on the room walls, the room door unlevel so cold and light comes out inside, really cold in the morning because of it, the only window in the room closed was so poor isolated that it seemed that is always open .And Last we got mold all over the bathroom ceiling that seems to have been there for a long time and it is going to take over the whole room eventually .

Large driveway for private parking. Spacious entrance hallway. Lovely room, terrestrial and streaming TV/media on a good quality television. Lovely shower with very good water pressure. Very comfortable bed. Fridge in room - I like fresh milk with my coffee. Iron and hair dryer. The bedroom was separated from the hallway by it's own hall and internal door that led into it, so it felt very private. The room was very specious and clean and I slept really well. All the staff I met were excellent - checking in and housekeeping.

A couple more of the little hotel milk pots would have been nice..

It was quiet and cozy. Looked like it could have been in a episode of scooby doo

No instruction about checking, you have to go over to the admiral pub down a lane opposite side the road (3min walk)

The building itself is secluded and away from the road, so it’s a quiet and peaceful stay. The rooms have fridges and kettles, enough to suit tourists or people coming for work.

The beds weren’t very comfortable - very cheap mattresses. The lack of signage about the reception being a few hundred yards away at a pub is an issue. There’s a small note on the booking confirmation but it’s easily missed and I can’t see why there is no physical signage on the building itself. Plus, that pub (The Admiral Cunningham) is a real dive - full of drunks and rough looking people by as early as 6pm. We avoided it after the first night.

The Guest House accommodation was like staying in a private house, yet only two minutes walk to the hotel/pub. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The shower was great and the bed very comfortable. Even a full fridge in the room. Had a full breakfast there and it was very nice too. (Granary bread would’ve been good).

Only thing was not being able to watch a Sky football match cos all 5 screens in the pub could only show the same different channel - all at the same time?!? Wasn’t the end of the world.

I was in town for a work course and needed a quiet, cheap and functional place to stay and this was just that. I slept well every night. The fridge in the room was very handy as i was able to have lunches and dinners and not eat out every day. Handy other things provided like a kettle, hair dryer, cutlery and plate and hot drinks. The area was quiet except for other guests who were a bit loud - that is not the hotels fault however and i have ear plugs for sleeping anyway so i was fine. Good selection of supermarkets nearby. The room was cosy, neat and clean and tidied every day with fresh towels provided and an en-suite bathroom. Safe parking.

My only issues were the shower was quite difficult to deal with, hot water took a long while to come, if at all. Also the front door of the hotel needs looking at, it is big and heavy and slams very loudly! Not great when staying with other careless guests going in and out at night to smoke.

It was the prefect place for a 1 night stop. Comfortable, clean, quiet and ideal for an exhausted traveler. Not to mention that the food at the Admiral Cunningham pub was great! I have to go back and hopefully I'll get to try the apple crumble.

1 very minor thing: - I wasn't aware that I had to go to the pub ro be checked in. A small note or a small sign would help with this and savw some confustion. A fellow guest helped me when I arrived but...

Didn’t like noisy bed. Just sitting on it or repositioning self seemed to attract squirking. Don’t know if there was heightened sensitivity because of the late hour and potential disturbance of other occupants.

Noisy bed. Talking CCTV-“you are now being recorded…” each time you come in or leave. I wondered how far the recording followed one into the building-just a thought. Definitely was a shock to the system-maybe mentioning it in the communication would do to prepare the customer psychologically. Or did I miss it?

The accommodation was super clean, in a quiet location and well-maintained. Excellent modern bathroom. Good size room with landing. Staff were excellent and very helpful.

It was not mentioned that you needed to go over to the hotel which is about a two-minutes walking distance to check in and collect the keys. So, you turn up as a guest not knowing what to do until you ring the phone number because there is no front desk at inn. It was nice that there was an outlet for shavers in the bathroom but there was no mirror, making shaving difficult. The fridge did not work well.

Twin Room in the Guest house across the road from the pub. Very comfortable. Easy parking. Clean and was serviced daily. Didn’t eat at the pub so can’t comment on the food. Some people not so considerate with a bit of noise but you can get that anywhere. Would definitely stay again.

Nothing I can think of.
