I'm glad that I finally got to book the Best Western Bradford Guide Post Hotel for this visit to Bradford. I stayed there for a couple of nights and I loved the comfortable king size bed and the tasty breakfast. The staff were all friendly and helpful - thank you Emily for being so willing to help and smiling. My room number 15 was quiet and the shower bath was powerful and good. I loved the location too because of it being close to where I wanted to go and had plenty of car parking.

There was nothing I did not like as such. For future customers I'd say that the car park may be small but there's a secure car park right opposite the hotel, literally a few steps away. There's also lovely Yorkshire sparkling water bottles to buy at the bar if you want and there's a Tesco express within walking distance if you want a snack. The hotel had a few guests. No lift I believe but then I didn't ask for one. All in all, I enjoyed it there. Maybe slightly dated in places but good nonetheless

Warm welcome, room was spotless and comfortable, beds and pillows especially. Bathroom was good with good shower, it could be improved with a hand rail over the bath for the older customers. Lovely and warm and the tea and coffee was good quality and plentiful. The breakfast is such good value, wonderful choices whatever your tastes and beautifully presented by delightful staff.

We had a room with the cleaners cupboard outside so early morning noise could be a problem for some. who like a bit longer in bed. The restaurant shuts early IF its not busy, so if you are out later and planning a meal on your return, you might be disappointed. I realise in these times the need for cost saving etc but stated hours should be honoured. We ate out because of the uncertainty of service.

Reception both welcoming, friendly and informative. The bar/restaurant team were excellent. Nothing was a problem. Compliments to their Chef, food was fresh, superb flavours, well presented - excellent.

I don't know if it was a drying room or some other service function, but having to sleep with the windows open and up early, took me a while to get to sleep. Shower head is not free (easily) to move to adjust settings. Bath very slippy

This booking was for my Uncle who is elderly and very unsteady on his feet. He was accommodated in a ground floor room, if a little far from the breakfast room/reception. The room was warm, clean and breakfast was acceptable. I would like to thank Rebecca who was on reception when we booked in, who took on board all my concerns regarding my Uncle & his inability to wear his hearing aid🦻 She took my phone number and assured me that they would keep an eye on him. Thank you

A little expensive for the 2 nights for 1 person, £131.

our first time stopping in a best western hotel. would definitely stay again . It was nice and convenient as we were visiting family in Shipley 6 miles away . the staff were really lovely helpful and friendly. spotlessly clean . A nice warm greeting. the only reason I marked it down 1 point was the bathroom we had room number 1 with a wet room and even though I pulled the shower curtain round all of he bathroom floor was very wet . apart from that a very good stay and would recommend.

Booked a suite and was pleasantly surprised at the size! Room was incredibly clean, staff were friendly. Added breakfast at check in. We took our bags up to the room, quick change then went to spend some time with family. By the time we got back at midnight there was a wedding/party. Went up to our suite and watched a bit of tv before going to bed just before 1am. We could only hear the music slightly but just after 1am music stopped. Bed was very comfortable and we both had a good nights sleep. It's a shame we didn't spend a little more time in the room as it was the nicest we'd stayed in for a long time!

There are only two things that could have improved our stay. 1) Fried eggs at breakfast (it's not a breakfast without fried eggs according to my husband!) 2) Staff laying a table for a later function right behind us while we were eating breakfast. I realise it needs to be done but the restaurant was almost empty (only 2 other tables in use) so we could have been seated over the other side of the room and not had a staff members backside constantly in our face!

Nice rooms, friendly staff. Plenty of choice at breakfast and the ladies were very helpful in sorting out breakfast to take away for my friend with Crohn’s who couldn’t eat early. We’d definitely stay here again if we’re in the area.

Only things were the pillows weren’t to everyone’s preference as some prefer softer squishier ones, and the shower wasn’t that powerful. But everything else was great!

Took 40 mins to get cooked breakfast. only upon asking about the delay was told only 1 chef and everyone down at the same. things happen and fully understand however what is not acceptable was a young member of the team having to deal with some of guests whom frankly weren’t as understanding. perhaps a senior member of staff or management could have spoken with guests to avoid the unnecessary confrontation of the young member of staff whom was exceptional in her manner but was clearly out of her depth. so not a complaint more constructive criticism

So the room was fine, average size. Room and bathroom were clean. The food was great - breakfast included choice of cooked breakfast plus buffet fruit, pastries, toast, cereal, so we didn't need lunch!! It was quiet when we were there, but be warned, they sometimes have parties/weddings etc which would go on into the night... Also had dinner one night in the hotel restaurant and the food was great with plenty of choice even for vegetarians :) Staff were helpful and friendly on reception and in the restaurant. Plenty of parking, some outside and some across the road in a gated, locked car park. Was only about 20 mins drive to Pudsey and Leeds.

The location was on an industrial estate, when we arrived there were people huddled outside the building smoking which gave a bad impression. The decor was tired in the entry hall and corridors and the corridors smelt of smoke, again not a great first impression. However we had a comfy, quiet stay and the room was fine. The view outside was a brick wall (see photo)

Everything was brilliant. Will definitely come back . Came visit family was very convenient to where we meet up with family.

My only criticism is . Our room was next to cleaners store room. Every time I left the room. The cleaners door had been left open and I walked into the door. They need to be told to shut the door. Could be nasty if an elderly person bumped themselves.
