First of all it was quite cheap. Secondly I had a fantastic 2 nights sleep,I extended my stay. It was so quiet during the night,I slept like a baby in a lovely big bed. A nice bathroom with all that you need was provided. Upon arrival I was greeted by a young lady called Lola on reception. This lady was so cheerful, helpful and informative,these people ate priceless. I've stayed in some wonderful hotels who have been let down by grumpy staff. Not at The Great Victoria, thank you Lola. Lovely breakfast too.

Having to go home but I will be back and totally recommend the Great Victoria, Bradford

This was my 2nd time staying. The location is great for work. Staff really friendly. Great to finish work late amd come back for a nice quiet drink at the end of a long day.

The firs time I stayed I had a lovely room with a large walk in shower. this time however was a bit disappointed as the room wasn't as nice, with a shower over the bath. the plug in the bath didn't work so couldn't have a bath, the tap on the sink was so tiny you couldn't wash your hands properly and it flooded the area around the sink. However it was still a comfy room and I enjoyed my stay.

This hotel is a great good value choice. It's a very good location right opposite the interchange train station. But not at all noisy. The room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom looked newly renovated with nice toiletries too. Bed was very comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful before my visit I had messaged them a few times and they responded very quickly. Decent breakfast too. Some nice old photos of Bradford in the hallways and some period features high ceilings and plaster work gives this place character.

The staff were excellent. Very friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too mch trouble for them. The room was adequately spacious, well-furnished and supplied with towels, tea and a good TV. The location in Bradford was great, within the city centre and with a hotel car park that was moderately priced. We were attending an event in St George's Hall which is literally next door to the hotel which was exceptionally convenient.

We did eat breakfast and dinner in the hotel. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide choice of well cooked breakfast dishes but dinner was a bit disappointing in terms of choices of main courses. Service in the restaurant and bar was excellent though.

Our room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Location of the hotel was absolutely perfect for the show that we’d come to see in St George’s Hall next door. Breakfast was adequate with lots of choice for everyone, was just disappointed with the coffee as it was in large flask containers and quite cold, we enjoyed our one night stay

There was no evening meal available on our stay but we weren’t told this at check in so it’s a good job I asked in the bar about booking a table. There was a gas problem for 2 days so afternoon teas and breakfast were still available. Also cold coffee at breakfast wasn’t good

On arrival check in was really easy, the gentleman at reception was very friendly and explained what we needed to do regarding parking, we was early so although our room was ready we wanted to walk round the city first, our room was very nice, tea and coffee facilities and toiletries with plenty of towels, the location was brilliant very close to everything we needed, we had booked into the theatre for a show and was only a few mins walk The bed was very comfortable and we had a lovely nights sleep, was very quiet no noise at all We decided to pay the £10 extra for breakfast and so glad we did it was beautiful, plenty on offer and the cooked food was top quality produce... well worth the money, what we did notice in the hotel is they have events going on with discounted packages, so we will definitely be returning to the Queen Victoria Hotel.... could I also add, anyone with walking problems like myself, there is a lift just across from reception The checkout time is also 11.00 am so no rushing around we were able to have a lay in, go for breakfast and pack once we got back to the room

Nothing to dislike about this Hotel, yes we did have to pay for parking but it's £5 .....

I look for few things in a good hotel, comfy bed, hot shower and a decent breakfast - thankfully I managed to get all three during my stay. Like normal I arrived late to the hotel, friendly chap on the front desk checked me in and sorted my parking out, thankfully the bar was still open for a quick drink, even if it was a little pricy. £6.50 for a pint.

While the bedroom was spotless clean and 95% of the bathroom, the bathroom floor could have been better, there were quite a lot of long hairs on the floor. Normally I'd have told the hotel direct but it was after 1:00am when i went into the room and I just wanted to get my head down.

As my previous reviews have mentioned this is my go to hotel when I stay in Bradford. Friendly staff as always welcomed me at the start of my stay and also as I left. Location is ideal as you are a few meters from the train station and bus stops as well as a 5 min maximum walk from the center of Bradford. The car park is an added bonus and all the rooms that I have stayed in have been of either a good or an excellent standard.

There has been nothing from my stays at this hotel that I could say I didn't like, it is functional and ideal and always delivers what I want or even above expectation.

Amazing location just outside the train station and easy walk close to town center. The staff were absolutely amazing and went out their way to make the stay pleasant especially the chap on reception during the night shift. Room was very big and comfortable, breakfast was really nice and again, staff went out their way and asked if I would like eggs cooked specifically to order rather than the scrambled egg in the buffet (which was still very nice btw).

Free wifi was hit and miss but no problem as phone signal was very good and I could use my data.
