This was a stopover and therefore a great location right on the M5, views from the room over the river were beautiful and beds and room were comfy. The parking is a bit steep considering there is no way you would get there any other way than by car. It should just be put on the room rate. Staff were really friendly and welcoming and I'd like to specially mention Nana. We were not informed by the evening staff that breakfast would be more expensive when booked on the day then when you book the night before (Simple misunderstanding, no one's fault) but Nana swiftly booked us for the discounted rate without any fuss! Thanks Nana, that is great customer service in action!

Very convenient location if wanting to break a journey on the M5. Hotel is on a business/industrial park with a Scania truck site and a massive Morrison's distribution centre as neighbours. Was quiet at the weekend.. You are virtually obliged to leave your car in the hotel car park which costs £9 (or £6 in advance) on top of room cost. Breakfast was another £9 each - eat as much as you like, so filling, even if nothing was very tasty. Room was big enough for 2 people, bed was comfortable and shower was excellent in the spacious bathroom. Industrial-type decor of concrete walls and racking-type furniture may not be to everyone's taste, but everywhere was clean - including corridors and the stairs (which many other hotels fail to clean regularly in my experience).

Breakfast buffet was very bland, but it fills a gap in your stomach. Lifts are small for the size of hotel, so we found stairs were quicker.

Had a nice vibrant feel downstairs and liked the pet friendly approach. I think the dinner menu was a bit limited but the burger was tasty. My breakfast really good value and the hotel was literally 5 minutes drive from Sedgemoor campus for my weekend course. I chose this hotel as it had air con in room compared to the premier inn which was very hot and no Aircon.

A stained hand towel in my room. Even though it was washed there was soiling on it. The rest were absolutely fine so didn't complain but housekeeping should check this in future. Plus kept awake the first night but the loud vibrating bathroom fan which staff told me how to turn down myself.

The breakfast was good, good selection and nicely cooked sausages. The restaurant was nicely furnished. Cookies, biscuits and dog treats a nice touch at reception.

Room a little on the small side. No opening window. Air con generally effective, but on the noisy side. The number of emails I received prior to arrival was too much, a lot repeated. Booking of car parking was over fussy, with discount for advanced booking. Didn't know cost for dog initially. Then booked breakfast in advance as indication was it would cheaper. Was told breakfast would be 9.95, then internet indicated 10.95, but on arrival when I was told my breakfast booking over the internet hadn't been received, the receptionist said it would be £9.00, so overall quite confusing.

The beds were comfortable. Room seemed clean - although who knows whats part of the design & what is actually dirt on the concrete walls in the rooms. Tv could be cast to from my phone to use Netflix.

Concrete styling on the wall made it feel a bit grotty, I'm not sure all of the marks are the concrete design. £9 for parking when there is nothing else around is a bit steep,, the car park could very easily have been free and you just enter your registration like other hotels to make sure you are a guest. Breakfast was a poor show. None of the machines had orange juice. Most breakfast times were low or empty constantly. Staff in the restaurant / bar all seemed to have an attitude, and they just didn't want to be there. Both on the evening of arrival and the breakfast team on the following morning didn't respond well to anyone, as various interactions with other guests were seen.

The staff were lovely and very welcoming. The bed was very comfortable. On our way down to Cornwall my husband's evening meal very good as was his meal on our way back. My meal on the way back was prepared by a more senior chef and was delicious. On our way back I realised that one of my rings was missing. I rang the hotel and was told it hadn't been found but later on a lady ranv me to tell me that it had been found. She got hold of some packaging and bought a padded bag. In her own time she went to the post office and sent it to me recorded delivery. I could not have wished gor better service or honesty.

The lighting in the bedroom was very dim. My meal on the way south was not good, in fact it was unpleasant and we waited nearly an hour to be served. The staff were very apologetic and did not charge for it. They also gave me a free drink The area around the hotel isn't the best, being on a business/industrial estate. We travelled with our dog and I would not have been happy walking her around before bed on my own.

The room and bathroom had a good size, parking was available right in front of the hotel, breakfast was as expected and much better than last time. It seemed as if they improved the breakfast service, because there actually was enough food available and we liked it. The receptionists were helpful and friendly. Check in and check out was quick, I did pay for everything in advance though. I liked the water dispensers for regular and lemon water in the lobby. It's useful especially on hot days.

The toilet paper is very thin, better bring your own. If your room is on the side of the street, it can become noisy when lots of cars drive by. It would be nice if they had a tissue box in the bathroom and a plastic bag for dirty laundry. It would have also been nice if the receptionist would have asked if I needed a receipt.

There was quite some dust under the bed and some small pieces of trash, too. The toilet paper is very thin, better bring your own. In the Ibis accommodation I've stayed at in the past, it's always nice. This Bridgewater location fits that well. The hotel provides a bar, restaurant food from breakfast to evening which some Ibis's don't. The room was great, very nice shower, hot running water, moden and spacious. No bath though. The bed was amazingly comfy, and the room itself was provided with enough hangie space to provide clothes and what not's. I would come back here, pay for breakfast ( cheaper if you pay the night before ). Parking avaliable and EV chargers. The staff during my stay were wonderful, really made your stay worth it!

No bath...I really needed one after walking, but that's about it. I walked here, and not the most walkable friendly footpath at all if coming from the dual carriageway. Not Ibis problem or fault. Walking or leaving the premises towards the bridge is more practical with pavement that leads into the town.
