The location, overlooking the harbour, was delightful. The room was comfortable, the staff friendly and helpful. The restaurant was beautifully situated and the breakfast was excellent

Unfortunately we could only stay one night and, perhaps as it was a Tuesday the menu for the evening meal was quite restricted as several of the speciality fish dishes, which we had been looking forward to, were not available. Perhaps we should have contacted the restaurant earlier at the time of booking the room.

The room was comfortable and had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. The breakfast was good with a good choice. The majority of staff were polite and friendly. The location was a good base. It can be noisy as it is a working harbour, a forklift truck carrying crates was on the cobbles around 11pm, trucks arrive early in the morning too. This was our second time staying here but we would probably consider somewhere else another time. There is limited car parking outside, we were lucky enough to be able to get a space when we needed it.

This was our second time staying here but we would probably consider somewhere else another time. Our waitress on the second morning was not very polite, no personality and despite asking us numerous times got a couple of things wrong.

The view from room 5 is magnificent. Good location. Lovely big and bright room with everything you could need for a night's stay. Breakfast was delicious with an exceptional range of choices.

Clean overall, though there were some spots that had been missed such as the bathroom floor which was covered in white bits. The breakfast table was sticky, and had spilled salt over it. The salt pot was covered in grubby finger prints. The so-called double room was two single beds pushed together with two duvets. The hot water is very hot and mixer taps would have been useful but I recognise changing all the taps would be an expensive business.

In a world of disappointment, especially in Brid, this place shone. We stayed one night prior to an event and it was worlds apart from another 'hotel' in town. Comfortable bed, tasteful decoration, clean and adequate supplies. No noise (well a little in the morning but it is a working harbour) from seagulls which is a bonus. Very friendly and welcoming staff which makes a huge difference. The breakfast was good quality and plentiful. This place restored my battered faith in accomodation providers to provide value for money. It really is the place to stay.

Nothing at all. Nothing at all.

Absolutely lovely staff throughout our stay. Helpful, pleasant and warm. Room exceeded our expectations, really cosy, comfortable and the huge corner bath was lush! Great location, 5 minute walk to the amusements along the harbour and the beach is literally on the doorstep. Breakfast was fabulous, one veggie and one meat eater. Both cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious.

A bit noisy throughout the night with wagons coming and going to the fishing pier, we did sleep with the window open though to be fair.

The room was large and airy, beautifully furnished and decorated. The little finishing touches of lovely heavy glasses and a selection of local still and sparkling water was lovely. The bathroom was luxurious with a big deep corner bath and selection of toiletries. The view over the harbour was wonderful. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented. We parked in the spaces outside the door which was very convenient. One of the best overnight stays. Thanks

The location is lovely along with a good bar, restaurant and fish and chips. Parking was no trouble even though we arrived around half 2 in the afternoon.

We had room 7 which is at the back of the property, the room is decorated lovely, the bed a little small as it’s a basic double. Breakfast table needs to cleared more often we ran out of space, more tea or coffee needs to be offered. Only young waitress who stood around and didn’t watch tables.

2 nights stay. Great location, staff extremely polite, respectful, and professional. Always smartly dressed. The room was very clean and comfortable. The food was superb and presented very well. Compliments to the chef! Great view across harbour at meal times. (Also, although not owned by them. But the little shop next door was great with such a wonderful young dark-haired lady serving!) Overall, I really enjoyed my time there and will definitely stay again at some point!

The food was 'slightly overpriced' but not by too much, and also the barmaid didn't let me buy her a drink when I offered lol 😆 But to be honest, I can't really think of anything I didn't like.

Good location breakfast room looked onto the harbour a wide choice of food for breakfast has a nice area with a bar an ice cream section.

The bathroom needed attention to detail the sink had a thin brown mark between the chrome plug hole an ceramic sink. Corner bath the Perspex on either side of the shower curtain needed a good cleaning at the bottom dark brown built up between the bath an Perspex . Such a shame because everything else was perfect. I didn’t raise it with the staff because I didn’t want to spoil my stay with my granddaughter .
