The staff was friendly and accommodating upon check in and also when we had to extend our stay by one day. They were more than happy to book us an additional night in the same room. The bed was very large and the linens were fresh with complimentary towels and toiletries. The TV worked well and there were plenty of small snacks and drink options on a tray when we arrived. It was spacious with plenty of room for all our luggage (moving in from abroad). The complimentary breakfast was very large and delicious and the pre-order system was simple and effective. The location was also perfectly situated between downtown Carmarthen and other amenities like the college campus, stores, and transport options to other places nearby.

Everything was wonderful. No complaints.

good location, and we were able to fit into the limited on-site parking. Very nice greeting, although we were a bit surprised in a hotel to have to book the following morning's breakfast on the evening of arrival. Room (21) was comfortable, and with good lighting and bathroom, although we were disturbed (Saturday) night by noise from outside and from the corridor - no blame here on hotel, though. Good breakfast, although having to pre-book was a bit of a downer - see below.

I can understand catering to order in a smaller establishment, rather than putting on a buffet and then having to throw away unwanted food, but it would have been nice to have had some stuff in the fridge so that we could choose on the morning and wait a bit longer while it was cooked. The yoghurt ordered turned out not to be available, but not a major problem, and the cooked breakfast was very good

Super clean and very friendly staff. We were needing a budget-friendly hotel , and The Falcon way exceeded expectations. Good location, right in the middle of town, therefore lots of alternative eating options within walking distance. Meticulously clean and one of the best hotel breakfasts I have had, NOT over cooked, greasy and cheap ingredients , absolutely delicious! We used single rooms, and while these were small, they were clean with fresh and crisp bed linen, a hairdryer, and a tea and coffee station. I am very happy to recommend this hotel.

The property was beautifully furnished and very clean

One thing only .The stairs .The bannister going up the stairs it needs replacing .it is very shaky .Also if you have mobility issues and need to hold on its not very reassuring that it will hold you . At the top of the stairs there is a fire door to open . Its very difficult to open that door if you have trouble and need to hold on to something .so a little hand rail on the wall to hold onto while opening the door would be helpful .

Room was clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and went the extra mile to help. The breakfast was delicious and very filling.

Only thing was the bathroom door didn’t close properly but as it is a single room it didn’t really matter to me and there was no electric socket by the bed for clocks/charging a phone but there was plenty by the dresser, wasn’t a problem for me but some people might find it inconvenient.

Couldn't fault the hotel itself. The staff were amazing. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious 🙂👍

Unfortunately we stayed on a Saturday night, and only managed to sleep about 4 hours due to the endless drunk people making a horrendous noise passing the hotel. A particular male was at least a couple of hours harrassing everyone trying to fight and punched a sign outside, between shouting and screaming at anyone that went past. It was a real shame because the hotel is amazing. I do think the town has a number of rough locals that spoil it.

Great location for pheonix forge. An older property with good fixings such as USB plug sockets, and presentable; really clean and pretty comfortable. TV with a good selection of channels. Good strong shower. You need to order breakfast the night before and I don't think there's that many people working there as it took a long time for brekky to arrive. Front of house staff were lovely and very helpful. Lots of pubs nearby and a great steakhouse, though the town is a little dilapidated.

It was all fine, but if we really had to ask for improvements they might want to upgrade to aircon (though not vital) and breakfast could've been a bit more prompt. Parking is limited but there is a car park next door.

Location was right where I needed to be. Walking distance to both shops and restaurants. Car parking available close by. This was a quaint, old fashioned hotel. The amenities were good and functional. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and had everything you'd want, from cereal to a full English.

It was a very dated hotel

From booking in to booking out the staff we met were all very courteous and nothing was to much trouble. Breakfast was a good selection of food and plenty of it. Tea & Coffee was superb and refilled as and when. The room was very clean & warm, the bathroom was clean and smelt excellent with warm towels on the rail.

Nothing! All excellent.
