The large family room and the staff was lovely. The outside garden is super good. Eve was especially attentive to us as a group and made us feel at home whilst being professional about time to close off for the night.

The busy road but most people won’t need cross it. We have family in the village and were there for a birthday. We are regular visitors to Chiddingfold but don’t stay in the swan . Most people wouldn’t need to cross the road but it’s worth a mention.

Great location with easy parking. Very comfortable room with lots of nice touches and lovely smelling shower gel, body lotion etc. Very well priced. It was nice to be able to pop down to the bar for a drink. We had already eaten so didn’t dine there but the food looked and smelled very good. We did enjoy a pint of local beer though. Would definitely return.

Nothing we didn’t like although the staff when we arrived seemed a little confused by our arrival. I was hoping to find a hot chocolate sachet amongst the excellent array of teas and coffees in the room as I just fancied one, so maybe adding that would be nice.

Beautiful building, a really gorgeous public house with heaps of character. Staff were attentive and happy to help - cosy atmosphere. We checked in then went downstairs to have a drink in the bar. A real fire greeted us and the bar area was beautifully clean welcoming especially on such a cold night. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, I was impressed with the refreshments tray, not only standard tea and coffee but a cafetiere with coffee grounds were made available and a coffee machine with pods was also supplied. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and pillows were lovely, not the rock hard things you come to expect in an hotel or guesthouse. The shower was excellent with lashings of hot water and sink and toilet lovely and clean. There were luxury body wash and moisturiser supplied which smelled heavenly although a small oversight was the fact that the bottles hadn't been cleaned so were a bit gunked up with old lotion.

The only thing that stopped it being 10/10 was the fact that our room was possibly under the owners rooms and -probably couldn't be helped - quite a lot of noise came from above, heavy footfall and suchlike. But to be fair, this was such a minor inconvenience compared to the overall experience.

It was lovely. Had one night away and had dinner and drinks there in the evening. Staff were great and the barman Robin was great and took the time to tell us about the place and the other pubs within the same chain. We will soon be visiting them too now after this stay.

It’s quirky and so much u can sit a look at. They have done a great job making it look old even though I was told it had recently been done. Just what you want out of a country pub.

I couldn’t be more pleased with this hotel. The rooms were lovely, clean, comfortable and the additional extras like the info folder and complimentary food/drink was such a nice touch. I only drink Nespresso coffee myself so it was such a treat getting to have one when I woke up in my room. The duvet and pillows were so comfortable as well.

More staff available at check in time and in the morning for breakfast service.

The 12.5 survice charge on the restaurant. Too steep for a pub. And all my drinks were included in this service charge even though I went to the bar myself each time to order. I shall now pay for drinks separately rather than put on a bill as some places are starting to charge service for everything even if there is no service. A shame because our overall stay was great

quaint but incredibly well redecorated and modernised. Set in a lovely village, the bar and restaurant were lovely and immediately inviting. Then when we saw the room we were bowled over! A separate little lounge area, two tvs, great coffee and tea, fabulous bathroom and shower (very much appreciated after a day working in a garden). Couldn’t be better. Definitely highly recommend!!

Nothing…Bar could have a slightly better selection of beers, but that would be a very minor quibble.

Impeccable room , I wish I remember what number we stayed in as I would definitely request it again . Everything about it was perfect and the staff were lovely too.

Unfortunately wasn't a fan of the food, the chicken portion was small and dry, seafood not fresh and overall cost for what we received wasn't worth it as we were still hungry and ended up ordering again from elsewhere.

The whole experience was exceptional. The décor, menu and bar were very nicely presented with truly excellent food and even good cocktails! The rooms were very nicely decorated, clean and the bed extremely comfortable. The room had every possible facility including a fancy coffee machine, streaming TV and a great shower. Great pub, great food, lush hotel - cant recommend this place highly enough!

The evening was brilliant and the young guy who was our waiter was excellent. Great service and great food.

Breakfast was hopeless no one there for around 10 / 15 minutes. Waitress was initially somewhat abrupt and the breakfast itself was just awful. Such a shame and in complete contrast to the evening.
