Ease of booking made to feel comfortable as a woman on my own but felt I had plenty of privacy and space as well which is a great balance.

The itinerary layout of the room before you settle in which didn't seem to contain all on the list was daunting but everything ran smoothly when I arrived and it only took a moment to check but I asked member of staff to witness that in case I was accused wrongly afterwards of taking something from the room as that's in the small type! That reduced my anxiety significantly. I was catered for and looked out for.. The staff were efficient and relaxed in nature. The younger waitresses were sweet to me even though they were tired and working hard

Housekeeping and restaurant staff are friendly and very helpful. We felt very well looked after throughout our stays and a room problem was very efficiently corrected.

There is a wide divergence between the Booking.com room labelling and the hotels own system which needs to be corrected as this can (and did ) lead to confusion. The hotel rooms also lack clothes storage. They are fine for single night stays but have no drawer space for clothes storage if you stay 3 nights as we did.

A mini fridge in the room would have been appreciated. Booking.com advertised bathrobes in the room - these were not in the room. Booking.com advertised a “fabulous breakfast included” This to me is a full menu of hot and cold breakfast items. We were only offered a continental option …. and hot options were an additional charge. I think ‘fabulous’ is not the correct description of the available breakfast offering.

Room was very nice, beds comfy and great to have a coffee machine in the room, overall the restaurant and hotel is well decorated and clean. It was a short walk into town where there are other pubs/restaurants for dinner too. Our stay was quiet and peaceful for a stop-over on our visit to see friends.

Some dust/cobwebs on the ceiling in the bathroom that could have been cleared. Was a little unsure of where the entrance was as it was dark. I may have missed it but some instructions of where to go when you arrive would be great as the restaurant and hotel share the same entrance. Overall minor things as we enjoyed the stay!

First time staying at Harpers Haslemere, and hopefully I’ll stay there again. Room was excellent, with all modern amenities, very comfortable bed, good coffee machine, nice hot shower. Really enjoyed the food, perfect steaks at night and a full and filling breakfast. The highlight for me however was the playlist in the restaurant, music that took me back to my youth, all the funk, soul and jazz tunes that were part of my life for so many years. Loved it.

Although the drinks range was extensive there wasn’t a traditional ale to drink, the Meantime IPA was nice, but not quite the same.

rooms were very clean n loved the theme of the rooms - railway, as the station was across the road. the rooms had coffee machine, radio, toilets and a smart tv. the bed n pillows were so mmmmmm I don’t normally sleep on the first night in a hotel but I did here, the room had everything you needed plus information on the surrounding area. good size car park. staff were very friendly, we ate in the pub late afternoon the decor was lovely n the food was very good so was the breakfast with a good choice but no fresh fruit but it was news years day so I can understand why not I would stay again with out a doubt thank you for a lovely stay

The stay was so cozy and relaxing and very very clean, to be honest was way beyond our expectations. The staff are so friendly and made us feel so welcome and were always there to answer any inquiries we had. The food was so tasty and we were super surprise because I am very picky eater and very hard to please, We had the best fish and chips ever, the following morning I requested breakfast in bed which they offer in the hotel and that was so good. To be honest the price was to low and it deserves to be more, I have stayed in 5 star hotels and paid fortune and still not satisfied. If your passing thru the area please don’t think twice. I will definitely go back. harper's haslemere thank you for making our stay welcoming and enjoyable.

Nothing, Everything was amazing.

Room was big and decor was up to date. Checkin was easy online before we arrived. Bed was comfy, shower was hot. Iron worked. Lots of breakfast options, cooked options were really good. Staff were friendly.

A few things in the room didnt work. TV wasn't connected to an aerial so couldn't watch anything. Kettle didnt work. Shower drain was partially blocked so water drained very slowly limiting time in shower. Air con / temperature control didn't seem to work, but the window did open so we could get some cool air in.

the location was good, the staff were welcoming. the bed was very comfortable, the bedroom and bathroom were clean. I noted iron, ironing board and hairdryer but did not need to use. the roasted instant coffee was good. I enjoyed the herbal teas. I did not use the espresso not being familiar but appreciated its presence.

it was on the cool side, I appreciate we are saving energy but I was a bit chilly. it would have been nice to have a good reading light beside or above the bed. I appreciate that one does not go to a hotel to read but I find reading before I go to sleep very relaxing. I could not fathom how to work the tv which was a bit of a bind as I was not able to read. probably my fault. one very small point, one packet of biscuits had been open with one removed, not really a big problem but it meant that the tray had not been fully checked.

I had such a lovely stay here! It was only for one night for a business trip, but I would 100% recommend this place to everyone. There was plenty of parking spaces and they it was free for hotel guests. The staff were really welcoming, the room was modern and clean, and there were great little added extras such as the tea/coffee, toiletries etc. The bed was super cosy and I had a great night sleep. I had my tea in the restaurant and the steak was 10/10, thoroughly enjoyed. Then in the morning I went for a walk around the local area and it was very scenic with nice wooded areas, it was a pleasure to be out in nature. And to top it off, it was all at a great price! I would definitely stay again if I’m in the area, what a lovely place!
