Loved our room 219. It was such a peaceful quiet space. Loved the view from the window.

2 jets in the jacuzzi in our bathroom dont work, not a complaint just to let you know. We where however very disappointed with the thermal suite. Some jets not working and the size does not accommodate 8 to 10 people to enjoy the relaxing time one would expect from a thermal suite. I booked these 2 days away to celebrate my husbands end of cancer treatment, hoping to enjoy the thermal suite and outside jacuzzi area. One was completely booked out and the other we used for 15 mins. No quiet area to relax and unwind in comfort and in the ambience of a thermal suite.

Loved everything. The room was so beautiful. The bed was so comfy. Could had smelt the freshness from the sheets. The receptionist was amazing and so helpful as we loved the hotel that much we booked for another stay in December. She helped us get the best deal .. and nothing was a problem to her. I am looking forward to our stay again in December. Our evening meal was delicious 😋 and very well priced. We were even offered two free glasses of wine with our meal, but my husband only drank soft drinks, but that was no problem, so we were gaving two cokes ❤️

Loved our room, the comfortable pillows and the surrounding grounds. Staff were very friendly and informative. The building is beautiful and was decorated for halloween which was fab.

The breakfast - Had to wait multiple times for food coming out so you never got to have a full fry. And nobody came near you once you sat down so you had to find someone to order more tea and coffee. This is my only criticism as staff were very lovely, kind and smiling all the time

Hospitality of the staff, food & drink fabulous, high standard, comfort and cleanliness of the room all outstanding. Staff made a real deal of my Mum's birthday, rendition of "Happy Birthday" and a mention on her dessert plate was very special. The gardens even in winter are beautiful. Christmas decorations are gorgeous.

The hydro pool in the spa was cold! When we were in it the buttons for operating the hydro facility were too deep in their casings to press, and there was no hot tub in the thermal area (I believe there might be one at the treatment rooms??) so the sauna, steam room and (cold) hydro pool were really the only facilities available in the small thermal area. Temperature of the pool was highlighted to the Spa staff at the time.

The key didn't open the door, and every day i attend back to the reception.

The property was excellent grounds are stunning and the food was excellent along with the service. Was there for a wedding and I would recommend this hotel. The hotel has such a relaxing atmosphere and the staff are friendly and helpful would go again for a holiday break.

Really enjoyed our stay, breakfast was great as always and staff very helpful. Room was very spacious and comfortable with the added touch of a box of chocolates.

Service at dinner was very slow having 3 menus running at the same time. Sat down to dinner at 7pm and only finished dessert at 9:30pm. Food was some of the best I have ever had.

Earlier check in for free would be great if room ready for guests attending wedding. I was told I could pay an additional amount for early check in at 1pm but as we were attending wedding at 1.15 this wasn’t practical for us. I appreciate early check in can’t be guaranteed but I don’t think extra should be charged.

The food was fantastic, and the staff were very warm and welcoming. The ambience of the hotel was lovely and despite there being a wedding on one of the days, the dinner service was great, really couldn't fault it. Surrounding area was really pretty even in the winter, peaceful and the very epitome of a country hotel.

There were just a few little niggly things for us. Our room was really cold when we arrived and took a few hours to warm up which was a shame. The bathroom facilities were very underwhelming, the shower was very poor, no power at all, practically had to run around in it to get wet 😂. Our room was the last in the hotel, furthest away from the WiFi router I imagine, so the signal wasn't great and very slow.

Wonderful staff serving at the Wedding I attended. Kathleen from the banqueting service along with her team couldn’t have been anymore helpful attentive to our table.

Room was very far away, you had to go through multiple sets of double doors and it was setup as two single beds instead of one double bed.
