This is an outstanding youth hostel. Great facilities and kind staff. Travelers were great at sharing the kitchen. Cleaning up after oneself. I was allowed to use the washer, thank you very much!!!!
Some travelers are not considering that they are sharing a limited space. (1) Two guys were doing phone calls in the dining area at a normal to loud noise level. One for one hour and another for about half an hour. I would suggest that such calls are done in a corner away from most of the other guests and that signs informs people of the option. (2) I slept in a six bed bunkroom. We had one guy going to bed at 1:30 AM and not being particularly quiet. (3) There was one guy that sat at one six person table and just let his stuff lay around on the table while he was doing other things. He was occupying the table during the whole afternoon and morning.

Bigger hostel with good facilities. Room was spacious and beds were comfortable. We got a warm welcome and the guy at reception provided some info on the opening times of the pubs in town etc. Big dry room for wet gear, big dining room and nice lounge to chill out in. Nice breakfast - don't expect anything fancy, but for hostel standards still a lot of choice. Go for dinner in the Rod&Reel pub - it may not look like much but it was the best food we got on the entire WHW!
The showers could have been a bit cleaner.

The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly particularly John and Elizabeth. I would like to say that these two members of staff went above and beyond in being friendly, were always please to see me and make time to chat about my day and other things. James and Mollie were also very nice people to meet although our paths did not cross so much. The hostel itself was near perfect and lived up to the expectations of a what a hostel should be. The bed was comfy as was the lounge and an endless supply of tea suited me well!
My only criticism is that on hotter days the lounge and bedroom were stuffy and could do with better ventilation or air con

Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful after an exhasting day on the West Highland Way. We wanted to upgrade to a private room and it was easily sorted. Everything was closed in town by the time we got there, but the hostel offered pizza and beer- a great pick-me-up. Room was clean and cozy Kitchen was well equipped and clean
beds were a little on the stiff side, didn't have sockets and a small light like in other hostels

Friendly welcome, clear information at the arrival and possibility to wash laudry. Comfortable rooms and beds and big dining area, lounge and a well equipped kitchen for even some self-cooking. Outside sitting area. Only groundfloor, so no need to bring luggage upstairs. Very generous offer to wash our clothes for free, as the day had been so hot - I so much appreciated this gesture of generosity of the host! A nice breakfast with a great filter coffee. A bit off the West highland way (1km to the Crianlarich village from the path) but worth the comfort and good sleep I had there!

The hostel has a great vibe for a walker or mountaineer, and the facilities are simple yet feel luxurious - especially loved the lounge - which make for the perfect basecamp. Useful information is on hand too.
The midges in the grounds! The showers seemed reluctant to give out hot water, and one of the toilets was in need of repair (the flush).

The communal areas were large and well equipped. A nice place to eat, and relax. The staff gave a warm welcome and were very helpful. Lovely location too. It was a nice touch to have usb charging points in the bedroom too. The shop down the road had ample supplies for food for dinner, and the bar in the best western hotel was nice for a drink.
We had an early start in the morning and the doors were locked so we couldn't get out until we found a way out through the kitchens. Unfortunately, one guest decided to wash and dry her hair very late at night and was very noisy about it.

The facilities were clean. The shower water was wonderfully warm. (Yay!) Molly checked us in. When we couldn't manage the CityLink to purchase bus tickets, she came to our rescue. We got the tickets needed.
We paid for a Wee Breakfast. There was one apple remaining & no coffee. Also, others who didn't pay for the breakfast (serve yourself) got the same meal. Wee Breakfast isn't worth the pay.

Everything about the hostel is great and Ill definitely stay there again when visiting Glencoe - there are large and clean bedrooms, good cooking facilities, and most importantly great customer service. We had a breakdown on the way and instead of 10pm, arrived at 3.00 am. The staff got up to check us in and did everything to minimise the disruptions. Thanks a lot for saving our trip!

The hostel is easy to get to, and roomy. The kitchen was well used, and the rail station, coop, pub and food, were right next door. We all slept well.
The showers were not powerful, and the kitchen at breakfast was crowded. If you plan to eat out then book ahead - as everything was booked up, and the coop was shut at 7pm. The train didn't arrive, but thankfully buses did.
