Everything from the reception staff to the lovely big twin room was great,the modern bathroom had everything we needed and like the whole hotel was spotless clean.We had tea/coffee facilities and a large tv..Wi-Fi was very good.We would definitely stay here again it’s such great value and easy to get to local attractions.

For us there was nothing to dislike…the location is a bit out of the way on an industrial area and there are no shops bars or restaurants close by but we were aware of that before we booked,the hotel does allow take out food and there is a communal kitchen,but even so we still had a great stay.

OK, there is no restaurant on site. So if you are after that or a breakfast - forget it. And it is in the middle of an industrial estate - however, that means that the location is extremely quiet. Easy access to both Edinburgh and Glasgow. Good value for money considering the location. Very comfortable and spacious rooms with equally spacious and comfortable bathrooms. And the beds are very comfortable. Plus, it looks as if it has had a recent make over. So even though the outside looks a bit dated, the inside looks good. Finally, all the staff were amazing.

Personally, I like bathrooms to have a plentiful supply of shower gel. A good shower gel dispenser - not a tiny tube. But it is a small complaint. I know for a fact that having gel dispensers in rooms which are filled from a bulk buy are a lot cheaper than tiny little tubes of shower gel. So it makes sense to go big.

The cleanliness, size of room, ability to use a fridge and microwave within the hotel. Lovely seating area in reception with vending machine. Easy to find in an industrial estate with plenty of parking. Excellent value for one night. No significant noise until about 07.00 on a weekday. Next to rural/wildlife area and quick walk to canal and kelpies statue. When going at night to kelpies I advise a torch if doing the short cut (ask the staff about it). Oh and there is a marks and Spencer food area in the petrol station around the corner.

Nothing really I knew what I had booked and done my research so my score is based on what we got for what we expected. We would go again. If you weren't expecting an industrial estate it might have been a bit off putting but I've stayed in similar areas before and this was the best with fabulous staff.

Room was clean, newly renovated it seemed, facilities good, plenty of parking, small self catering kitchen available, affordable price and staff Susan and Ian were personable which always make a fantastic stay, Safety and cleanliness at a value are always my pillars and this met both. Very good value for money considering the current rates. The accommodation is in an industrial park but a petrol station and M&S nearby for provisions, good proximity to Kelpies and Wheel and an Easy drive 25 minutes drive to EDI in the early morning and much more affordable than nearer options.

Depends on the trip and what you expect, for a transit night it was perfect. Walking distance to Kelpies, quite area, helpful personnel in reception, available parking, vending machine at Reception and very helpful personnel at Reception. If you travel by car and interested in touristic attractions, good place to stay as you don't spent too much time in the room, easy access to main roads.

Situated in industrial area there were not much eating places around (walking distance), but Receptionist was very kind and explain how to reach to closest places or what deliveries options are.

Excellent staff, Hilda on reception was so friendly and welcoming.Bed was very comfortable and shower was great. Everything was very clean and in working order. Walking to the Kelpies only took 10 mins. The lodge looks a bit off putting from the outside and in an industrial area but location to the Kelpies to walk to in daylight then back at nighttime was great. Hilda on reception was so helpful and tried to book us diner- most places were full (might pay to book earlier at Cooke’s- it’s closest but not very close)

Trucks in the morning with backing beepers. No restaurant or pub handy. The lodge looks a bit off putting from the outside but clean and tidy inside.

Location on industrial estate but it was quiet and away from traffic. Everything from reception to the room was first class - a generous size double bedroom which was comfortable and very clean. Although there is no bar or restaurant it wasn't a problem - they did have take away food menus available if you wished to get food delivered and they also have a kitchen area for use by guests with microwave and fridge etc.. I was made to feel welcome by the staff and they were very helpful. Also it is just a goal kick away from Falkirk Football Club !!

The member of staff on reception when we checked in, sorry I can't remember her name, offered to move us to a room on the ground floor due to me being on oxygen, instead of the first floor which is where we were originally booked into. Not a problem for them as there was a room available on the ground floor but I thought this was extremely kind of her. Asked if there was anything else she could do for us to which there wasn't but she let us know they were there 24 hours if there was.

Nothing. Couldn't fault a thing. Neither staff, cleanliness, price, location....NADA... Please, keep up the good work.

great location for the kelpies, within walking distance. staff very nice friendly. 24hr reception. quiet stay, no street noise at all as hotel is located away from the main roads. was lovely seeing lots of little rabbits running around nearby, as we walked to the kelpies. staff called our taxi when we checked out.very laid back friendly hotel. kettle tea coffee milk biscuits in room.

breakfast would have been a bonus but i knew before booking this wasn't an option, however there is a mcdonalds not far, vending machines in hotel, and if you need food ordered in there are takeaway menus available and staff happy to help. Although we didnt use there is a kitchen with fridge and microwave guests can use. there wasn't much toilet paper in our room however reception supplied more without a problem and asked if we needed anything else such as extra milk or coffee for our room. check out is 11am which is fair.

The staff was super helpful in everything we asked of them, from restaurants, to getting around to places, to booking the train. The Kelpies and Helix Park were only a 10 minute walk from the Premier lodge.

The township of Falkirk needs better signage for those tourists walking from Calendar house to the Kelpies, or to the Falkirk Wheel. I was totally lost, when a kind lady with 2 dogs, walked us from the first round about from Calendar House to the Helix Park, when we knew our way back.
