The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the Goodwick train station and about 10 minutes from the ferry terminal. The rooms are recently renovated, clean and bright. Very comfortable bed, smart tv, nice bathroom and most of the staff are very friendly. The included breakfast was cooked to order and the coffee was hot and strong. The hotel is only a few minutes walk from Tescos for snacks.
There were a few missing doorknobs in the room and it seems like the renovation hasn’t been quite completed. The hotel is not open between 11am-4pm (except for Sundays) so if you are unlucky and there are no staff around you may not be able to leave your bags.. (we were lucky enough to be able to do this). Not a negative for the hotel, but there really isn’t much going on in Goodwick. The walk to Fishguard is about 15 minutes or so up a very steep hill, but worth the effort as it is a lovely little township with a few shops, cafes and pubs.

Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Huge breakfast. Spacious room. We also had evening meals in the pub, and the chef/owner was really accommodating making adjustments to dishes to make them more diabetes friendly. Great location for the ferry and for exploring Pembrokeshire on days out. The Rose & Crown is pretty much the only place to be in Goodwick - but it’s also very good.
It’s on a pretty busy corner - so you do get some traffic noise in the evening & early morning, but it was OK between 11pm and 6am. The single bed in Room 1 could use a new mattress- it’s rather saggy.

Bedroom number 9 excellent with a great view, carpark next to hotel charges exempt for motorbikes/trikes.
Breakfast was not presented very well, 1 jug of sugar for whole breakfast room... residents having to ask constantly for coffee percolator and hot water for tea to be topped up. No fruit even though the breakfast menu stated fruit. Had to ask for cups.. staff at breakfast seemed more interested in chatting with patrons at the bar, who were drinking lager at 9.30 in the morning. If the breakfast and service at breakfast was improved, would rate it highly

The location was perfect for us as we were walking the Coastal path. There is a 'Marine Walk' into Fishguard which is an easy way to get into the main town or a shuttle bus. The breakfast was a great start to the day and was served early for us so that we could make a prompt start on our walk. The only thing I would add would be some Muesli to the cereal selection. The staff were extremely helpful and obliging. The accommodation was well presented and very quiet. We ate in the restaurant both nights and the food was good value for money. There is a car park just below the Hotel and it was very reasonable to pay for 24hr parking. I believe the one at the station, which is a short distance away, is free.
Everything was good.

The B&B business is an adjunct to a modern pub in the middle of Goodwick. Both aspect have been invested in and provide a good offering to guests. I've been here before and will come again. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the food in the pub is good. The property is easy to find, being in the middle of town, with on-street parking and a council car park yards away.
Well I suppose Goodwick itself is mainly a ferry town rather than a boutique tourist attraction like Portmerion, but there is very nice coast not far away like Strumble Head and Dinas Head which provide great coastal walking and scenery for outdoors types of visitors. The town itself has a small Tesco and a couple of fish and chip shops, and that's about it!

We have stayed at Rose and Crown 18th and 19th February. And what a treat! Staff- the most helpful always smiling nothing was a problem , anything we asked for was done straight away. Rooms - nice modern good size clean. Food- we didn’t have high hope really but... OMG. The food was absolutely divine. Starters great portions well seasoned. Main... it was just fantastic mix of flavours truly delicious and portion was generous. Dessert was just amazing end of the whole dinner. Then following morning the breakfast... absolute treat. Generous portion again cooked perfectly absolutely nothing to complain about. Again staff 100% smiling great start for the day. If someone ask if we will come back .. 100% yes! Thank you for great stay and we will recommend your place and food to everyone.

The room was really good and spacious, especially for a couple. I have always had issues with food options being limited at seaside towns but the food at this place was amazing and far exceeded my expectations.
The only downside (again depending on the room) is the noise from the road- the room I got was next to the road and had noise from cars driving by and few party goers returning to their accommodation, but didn’t go on all night! I must say that none of this prevented me from having a good night’s sleep- slept like a baby!

Location perfect for overnight stay following late ferry from Rosslare, and before 5 hour drive home! Room facilities excellent. We did not use the restaurant on arrival as very late, but staff very welcoming. Chef did very well at breakfast to 'find' all the ingredients for our fruit waffles!!
Not a dislike, but it would be helpful to advise that parking is in Station carpark (next door), but requires payment by cash or card and need to go for 24 hour period (£3) if leaving after 9am

Close to ferry port. Clean property. The food is good and partner loves the ale. Nice bedding. Parking close by. Breakfast lovely.
I have stayed at this property at least 4 times this year in Room 4. As per previous comments, the bifold door to the bathroom is missing a handle so you cannot close it properly. It is a simple DIY fix. It has been like this since at least March when I first stayed. Why this has not been fixed I do not know. The toilet in the same room - to get it to flush properly is an art in itself. It needs attention. Both these are irritating. Overall the property is good. Unfortunately the bar closes very early so if you get off the 9.45 ferry hoping for a pint you need to go up the road. The breakfast is good but hit and miss in the morning with the buffet type table, often not enough mugs, plates, milk etc. Attention to detail lacking.

The staff and accommodation were lovely. Amazing food. Comfortable bed, nicely decorated throughout the pub. Very convenient if you are taking the ferry to Ireland . Great choice for breakfast and superb evening meals using quality Ingredients. The food is excellent value for the money
It would have been nice if someone had checked to see if we had enough tea / coffee in the room and maybe emptied the bin as we were there for 3 nights. Also only half a toilet roll left. We were only able to open one window as the others appeared to be sealed. So the room was quite hot and stuffy. Not much to do in the area itself but very beautiful. Just a shame about the lack of a cleaner to freshen everything up, otherwise I would have scored the accommodation higher.
