The room was perfect in many ways, with a combined bath/shower a lovely bay window (that actually opened) and right on the sea front. there was a partial view of the sea from my window. I didn't eat at the hotel as shared my "wealth" around with other local establishments, in particular I can recommend Glady's Tea Room (closed Sun/Mon). If you like quiet this is the perfect location with a short bus or taxi ride to Hartlepool from outside the hotel or to Middlesbroug in the opposite direction.

The biggest issue was location of plug sockets. I always take an extension so it wasn't a major issue, but there are not by the bed as such charging electronic devices overnight, or even having one set as an alarm was limited. but that was really the only thing. If you like hubub and being at the centre of things, this is not the town for you though.

A lovely, clean hotel with very friendly helpful staff, at the lovely Seaton Carew. I had booked a single room, so more than delighted when allocated a double room. The room kept beautifully clean, plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits etc. Very comfortable bed. I was visiting family, so didn't require food, however, the restaurant was busy and food smelt delicious. Thank you a delightful stay.

Spacious room with a very comfortable bed made for a very relaxing stay. The hotel food served in the bar was excellent for the evening meal and breakfast made for a perfect start to the day. The staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

I honestly can't think of anything to criticise, the hotel was very accommodating and the staff were all extremely friendly.

We stay here often when we come back up north to visit my family. Once again it waa a great stay, we have never had a problem, and the staff are always fantastic and helpful, especially around accomidating my disability. Looking forward to our next stay

This is a very nice clean hotel and good value for money in a nice location. Breakfast was not included in the room rate but the price of £7.50 I thought very good value.

I good not think of anything to dislike about this hotel and would love to come back some day.

Room was excellent, plenty of space and spotlessly clean. Breakfast really good, buffet style so you could eat as much as you liked. Location really good, beach right across the road and bus stop right outside the hotel. Staff were excellent, very helpful.

Nice big room with comfortable bed, friendly and helpful staff. Great bar and restaurant with good food (and big portions).Wonderful location right on seafront, perfect for beach walks. Would definitely stay again!

High Service Quality, Room Dimensions, Cleanliness, Bar, Dinner and Beer. Delicious carvery at weekend.

We had booked an evening meal with two business partners and the hospitality provided by our host was first class for an evening lasting more than 3 hours.

The excellent bedroom was on the first floor that means using the stairway, but on our previous trip we stayed in ground floor accommodation that was much better suited to my personal needs.
