We had a wonderful stay at Crackin View. The property is superb, it has amazing views and everything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. The facilities are excellent and everything is immaculately clean. The owners are so friendly and welcoming, we felt like part of the family. The breakfast is delicious - we had a full Northumberland every day and thoroughly enjoyed them all. Would highly recommend staying here to anyone who wants to explore Northumberland!

Maria and Steve are truly friendly and most welcoming hosts, to be a guest here is a privilege and enjoyable experience. They provide a great all-round service and good breakfast choices to set you up for the day ahead. Great location for star gazers with lots to see and do in the area. Kielder Forest Lake, Bellingham and some good places to eat out are just short distances away. The sauna and indoor pool provide a welcome distraction away from the “woes” of the world. It is a highly relaxing place to be for a hour or so. Even in our short stay, we were aware of other returning guests and yes of course we would also like to return to stay again!

Not an issue, perhaps a little extra storage space in bedroom and shoe rack / suitcase stand could be considered?

Where do I start?! We loved our entire stay here, it was peaceful, clean, friendly, warm and welcoming. The hosts are such lovely people and made us feel so at home! Even giving me a little packed lunch for my walking trip as I had missed breakfast. The pool and sauna were wonderful and such a nice touch! We loved our stay so much we have booked two nights in November!!

When we arrived we were made to feel very welcomed by Steve who was friendly and welcoming. He showed us to our room which was a WOW warm and comfortable. In the morning we met Maria who like Steve was very welcoming and friendly. The choices for breakfast was brilliant creareal fruit yogurt and a full cooked breakfast and you could choose from the menu what you wanted and it was cooked to order

What a wonderful place to stay! Even before arrival, the owners got in touch with us making us aware of our dinner options in the area and highlighting that booking would be advised. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by Steve, one of the owners who very kindly locked away our bicycles in the garage and showed us to our room. The room was spatious. the bed was comfortable, the bathroom nicely tiled and the shower had good water pressure. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and plentiful with locally sourced ingredients, including eggs from their own chicken. This is a wonderful place of the world, made even more special by the welcoming attitude of the people at this guesthouse.

The location was ideal for our stay, lovely and peaceful, the B&B was great, super comfy bed, lovely decor, the swimming pool was a lovely bonus. Steve and Maria are the perfect hosts. Cooked breakfast was amazing, fresh eggs from the hens and the black pudding from local butcher.

Breakfast was fantastic, set us up for the day. The house is in a lovely quiet area in easy reach of many attractions and beautiful countryside. We loved every minute and will be back :)

There is nothing that could have been done better. The hosts had thought of literally everything, there is nothing else we could have needed or wanted.

We throughly enjoyed our stay. Steve & Maria were such lovely hosts! So friendly, welcomed us at the door and made us feel right at home. The view from the property was amazing and we were able to see such clear skies making for some great photos. Our bed was extremely comfortable and we really enjoyed the pool too! There were so many breakfast options available and we had a lovely cooked breakfast made to order. Would definitely stay again! (Samson & Tilli also made us feel very welcome 🐱)

What a lovely couple of days our family of four have just spent here! Stephen and Maria were the perfect hosts, a fun and cheerful couple, clearly hardworking but never too busy to help or just chat - we really felt welcome in their home. The house itself is lovely, carefully designed with an attractive mix of modern and traditional, and is kept immaculately. Beds were comfortable, breakfast was delicious with plenty of options - and the setting is really peaceful and relaxing. We all enjoyed meeting the chickens and other animals, and also relaxing in the little pool.. I hope we're able to come back one day.. Tips for other travellers: We arrived in the evening without having booked anywhere for dinner - but were able to just turn up and eat at the local campsite Boe Rigg, only a mile away, where there is a very decent restaurant / café / bar. We enjoyed a walk round Kielder Reservoir which is only 10-15 minutes away. Also had a nice afternoon out in Rothbury about 40 mins away including a lovely inexpensive meal at the local Italian restaurant called La Mensa. 

Absolutely nothing to complain about, we can't fault it..

Everything, it was a perfect stay. The pool and sauna were fantastic. The room was beautiful and very clean. Maria and Steve are the nicest couple, before I arrived I received a message with directions and information for all the places close to me where I could book to eat. They couldn't do enough for you. Fantastic breakfast, couldn't recommend staying more, we will be going back.
