Had a amazing welcome by the staff, always very friendly whenever I saw them. The food at the pub was priced very reasonable and absolutely delicious. Links for transport very excellent just a couple of hundred meters. Bed was clean and comfy with curtains for privacy. Plenty of sockets to charge my devices... WiFi was free and excellent speed. Even a kettle , microwave and large fridge to store your foods and drinks. Location was quiet and although above a pub I didn't hear any noise from downstairs. Other people staying were very polite and friendly had no issues at all. Clean toilets and showers. I will be staying there again on my next trip to London. Ive stayed in loads of hostels and I had a lovely experience staying here. No complaints at all. The evening staff are so friendly and helpful. They couldn't do anymore to help me with travel tips, local yoga classes , markets and locations to visit. Had great interactions with the locals too. Great job team. See you soon. Craig

Room 9 was comfortable. I was able to have rest. Hostal has excellent location, rooms, and mode of transport. Nearest shopping centre is Lewisham shopping centre. There I have found plenty relevant job opportunities. My interview was withdrawn because Barclays bank manager went for holidays in Lewwisham shopping centre branch. Staff are friendly and coordinating.

Not applicable because I was comfortable and I have applied more jobs in Lewisham at national rail train station as well as DLR. I was able to apply more jobs and could reach employers directly.

The bar itself under the hostel was fantastic and I had some of the best noodles I’ve ever tasted so I highly recommend the food here! The hostel itself was good for the money, the beds were clean and comfortable and offered some privacy as well as a personal light and shelf for your stuff.

I do wish the bathrooms had a bit more space for when you’re getting ready in the morning as I found I couldn’t do that in my room when people were still sleeping but had to move out of the way frequently when people needed to wash their hands etc whilst I was brushing my teeth. Otherwise though I did like that there was a hair dryer and the shower shelf’s were super handy.

The beds were very comfortable, the room was cold and I couldn't close the window, but it was bearable. The heater wasn't on. The lighting was great and the curtains also gave good privacy. There was no breakfast, but I got an advert for free food that I could get downstairs. I didn't eat it, but I thought it was nice. But... The food in the pub downstairs is great! I highly recommend it! Nice atmosphere. The highlight was the cleanliness, impeccable! I really appreciate that! There is also a water purifier, which I think is great. You don't often see that in other places in the UK.

It's not the hostel's fault, but unfortunately, the smell in the room was very bad because of one person. It is impossible sleep well. I would only recommend turning on the heater in room 1.

The team were super friendly, location is good, I walked to Greenwich and Canada Water very easily, there’s free parking on the street too which was really helpful. Very reasonably priced, pillow was comfy. I didn’t try the food but there seems like there’s lots of options and there’s a small high street up the road with other choices.

It’s definitely somewhere that’s more for sleeping and then going off, not a social place although there is the main bar area where you could hang out if you wanted to. Most people were sat in the hallways. I would have had to get in bed if I wanted to say do some work or read I think.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Book a Bed Hostel and I must say, it exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist who made the check-in process a breeze. The staff at this hostel were incredibly welcoming and always went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable during my stay. One of the things that stood out to me the most was the cleanliness of the toilet and bathroom facilities. These are areas that can often be a concern when staying in a hostel, but at Book a Bed Hostel, they were spotless. The showers had great water pressure and were always hot, and there was never a shortage of toilet paper or soap. The room I stayed in was very spacious, which was a pleasant surprise for a hostel. I had plenty of room to move around and store my belongings without feeling cramped. The beds were comfortable and clean, and I had no trouble getting a good night's sleep. Overall, my experience at Book a Bed Hostel was fantastic. The friendly staff, clean facilities, and spacious room made for a great stay. I would highly recommend this hostel to anyone looking for affordable and comfortable accommodation while traveling. I will definitely be returning on my next trip.

Clean, nice aesthetic. This place has a lot of potential as the owner is putting money into it. Although right now it's been my favourite hostel to stay at. The bar and food area downstairs is really nice. If I had more money I would of drank and ate there. Not that it's expensive just that I've been very low cash at the moment. For the price this is the best hostel I've stayed at and even better than more expensive hostels.

For it's size I think it does well. As in the hot water would crap out after large groups of people would shower at the same time. Not the hostels fault at all. Just this large group staying there seemingly think it's OK to shower for 40mins each. But I'm sure the owner will fix this, he seems on top of things as compared to the previous time I stayed here the quality of everything improved massively.

I liked the food wings was bloody great and staff was really nice and friendly even when i locked myself out they waited after time to let me in.

To be honest its not i didnt like anything i have to admit im tall and being on top bunk was a little annoying for me and for others trying sleep as im 6'3 and heavy like hulk looool apart from that it was good and not the Hostels fault im not a keen fan of the Deptford Area if you get me i spent most my time away in central or canary whalf but again great links to london tube not far. P.s. toilets was somtimes discusting not the cleaners fault its some silly travellers dont flush after themselfs that was one thing i did notice.

The guys running the hostel were very welcoming and friendly. I only got abdis but the other guys were class as well. I only paid 66 pound for 2 nights which is amazing considering I wasn’t really going to be there. Downstairs they have a nice pub with a few TVs and projector, I sat and watched the arsenal game with them and it was some laugh and a really nice atmosphere especially for a hostel. Only thing I would add is to bring your own padlock, but otherwise for what ur paying for id definitely stay there again

The renevations done were very good and much needed. !!! There are new curtains on all beds which helps a lot!. The mirror, hair dryer and hair curler is a big bonus. I recommend staying here for a relaxing and quiet stay. I slept so well for the day. Cleanliness in the room and areas was good. There's a fridge and microwave downstairs.

More staff needed. Couldn't order food downstairs without scanning the code on your phone.
