Location perfect for tube station. Lobby had a lot of seating. Rooms good size. Beds very comfortable

As so close to tube station, I could hear and feel the trains beneath. Would need to request a room on a floor higher than level 1. Considering hotel just opened recently, shower tray already stained.

The hotel has a great mix of automated and in person services so you can do a lot for your self (self check in/out, coffee machines and self services at breakfast), but there is always a friendly member of staff there to help if you need it. Our room was great, clean and modern and with all the things you might need. The staff were brilliant! I hope I’m remembering their names!!) Alex (Alessandro?) and Rachel (I think) on the bar who were so welcoming and friendly! We ate in the restaurant one of our evenings when we were too tired to go out after a long day and the food was really good! Breakfast had a large selection of hot food (all the usual fry up foods), toast, cereal, pastries, fruit, yoghurt, cheeses, juice and coffee etc.

The only negatives I can find if I try really hard there could be a few more vegetarian/vegan options with the fry up like a veggie/vegan sausage or something but there is a great selection of other foods so it wasn’t a big deal and if you eat meat/dairy then you’ll have more options than you can eat!

Location was perfect -- very close to Tube station. Staff was very friendly, and room was comfortable. I was concerned that we would hear a lot of train noise being so close to the train station, however even with a room facing the rail lines, we did NOT hear a single thing. Wonderful stay, and would stay here again.

Had to share a towel on the last morning -- housekeeping only gave the two of us one towel to use. Not a big deal and understandable oversight, but I'm required to list something I don't like.

Excellent staff - concierges couldn't have been more helpful. On the day we were leaving a person had a fall in the vicinity of the hotel - I doubt he was staying there - but the kindness and attention he received was a credit to all involved and copper-fastened my decision to use Maldrons again. While I'm not an Arsenal fan - I loved seeing the full size cut-out of Artetta in the lobby. Its the little things like that that gives personality to the hotel (had a good laugh with some of the fans in the bar too). Very good breakfast as well.

I couldn't fault it.

The location was pretty good because the underground was very close (Victoria and Picadilly lines), and there were lots of restaurants and shops in Finsbury Park. The breakfast was pretty good, and the staff there was friendly and helpful.

The room was very small: we had a double double-bed room for 4 persons, but only 1 chair was provided. The automatic check in system is not prepared for special characters, so it did not want to accept my name. I needed to ask for help. There was some issue with cold water tube in shower and only hot water was running, we had to change room. The room change was smoothly arranged. The Friday night was very expensive.

Easy to get to with a direct tube from Heathrow. Great location to explore London from with tube and bus station around the corner. M&S food market right there as well. We were traveling with our 18 month old twins and the staff was very accommodating. Housekeeping and servers at breakfast were great with the kids as well. Will be coming back here on our next visit!

There was no fridge in the room, which was something to manage traveling with kids, but we knew that.

Location, cleanliness And staff

Small bed, hard pillows so not great sleep and not a budget hotel

Very new, clean, modern hotel. Lovely shower and bedroom. Very clean throught out the whole hotel. Great location right across from the train station 25 mins into the city . Didn't hear any trains from the room at all. Rooms have a safe. Complimentary water and biscuits with tea and coffee facilities

Only a personal taste, the duvets were big and thick and we couldn't sleep with them over us. Hard pillows. The station is in a lower middle class area .there was alot of people begging at the station. There was security everytime we used the station. The corridors and the lifts in the hotel were extremely warm. Breakfast far too expense. We used coffee shops nearby.

I booked here last minute due other issues with another property and the lady at the desk made me feel welcome straight away. I can not remember her name unfortunately. She made me feel relaxed and comfortable. She allocated me to a room where the standards are nothing but superb. The room was clean, smelt very nice, bathroom bright, bed very comfortable. There was complimentary bottles of water, tea and coffee facilities in the room. Had a really good night sleep with very little noise.

If I had to be picky i would say bigger windows but it was not an issue at all.

Location for us going to the football, and so close to tube station was perfect. The room was nice, we were on the top floor, it was quiet, and beds were super comfy.

My only gripe would be some of the staff weren’t the best. Some were absolutely fine. A couple not so. I asked a chap who I think was probably just meant to be working on reception, but kept wandering about behind the bar, what snacks they had available. He said none, just drink, and I could see them on the shelf. If you don’t know, just say , I don’t know, and ask someone who does.
