The location is perfect with 24 hour buses A massive sainsbury's 5 minutes away

I was well looked after so can't be negative about good service

We stayed only for one night, and it was perfectly fine for that. Nothing grand, but the room was pleasant, clean enough, the bathroom was normal, there was a kitchen nearby and a bigger one downstairs. There was a sink in the room, enough power outlets, and a clean wardrobe. Tea and coffee basics in the room, iron in a small common room. Great backyard with some benches and chairs for a morning cuppa. We even got to make friends with a local cat, who was extremely friendly. Bus stop maybe 2 minutes of walking away. Based on this one night, it's not a loud neighbourhood.

Not a huge dislike, just a note: The steps of the staircase are on the narrower side (like in many other houses in England), but with a bit of care it wasn't much of a bother. Might have been troublesome with a really large luggage. The bed was slightly narrow for two people.

Jeff welcomed us on arrival and showed us to our rooms. The hotel is excellent for people who are going to nearby matches and attractions and just need a place to sleep and then go out and about again. There is a nice garden to relax in if you need a bit of fresh air. The shower was excellent and had plenty hot water, the bathroom was exceptionally clean. The bedrooms were clean enough and very quiet as we were at the back of the hotel, and the bed was comfortable. Location is perfect for access to bus stops and the nearby Stamford Hill train station.

The wi-fi could have been better however I didn't book the room to be on the internet all day!

Hi, the accomodation fitted our request, we needed just to sleep there And didn't expect more. What was great was the Staff who helped us to orient in the object And Once we realised we forgot something in the room after releasing IT, they were willing to mail it to us, wht I really appreciate. Children would miss their games.

The waste Waters system could have worked better, the sink in the bathroom didn't drain. And the mattresses could be more comfortable. But we Are not Very demanding And for that price we would still recommend it And would return here back again..

I have stayed here three times, each for multiple nights. It is comfortable, informal yet for me has the aura of living as a house guest. Jeff the manager is welcoming and friendly. The large, lawned garden surrounded by tall trees provides fresh air, seating, tables and a bbq. This is not for someone looking for a 5 star fully serviced hotel. But why spend hundreds of pounds?? If you want simplicity, splendid transport facilities and excellent value for money (c. £65pn) I can highly recommend you stay here.

Not much really. A comfy bed, tea and coffee facilities and a tv in the room. What more do you want?

It was a great place to stay .buses into London are very easy to negotiate.they are every couple of minutes .people very friendly and helpful. The venue was warm clean and inviting ... Will use it again ....no need to pay central London prices when this little gem is much better ..5 miles out of central London . No time limit for getting in at night as you get a code for entry ...take some milk and extra tea bags ..I like a lot of tea in the morning ...no breakfast but a kitchen is available if you want to cook anything ...we ate out .very cheap too ...

Nothing it was all rather good

This is an old-fashioned no-frills hotel that must be one of the most economical places to stay in London, and as such it is ideal for a night or two for anyone comfortable with the Stamford Hill area (no Tube but many bus routes and Overground to Hackney and Liverpool Street). No meal service, but a good bakery and coffee shop is a short walk away for breakfast.

The room would be rather cramped for anyone with a lot of luggage, and a couple of hooks for towels would be a great addition for the bathroom. We found the duvet rather too hot, but that's a problem I have with most hotels.

Perfectly located for Tottenham Stadium, about an hours walk but with plenty of bus and tube options as well. Quiet peaceful area, no real noise and ample free parking around the area. Room was clean, comfortable and had tv, kettle and fridge in.

Only improvements I’d suggest would be a couple of extra pillows available in the wardrobe, and possibly including a chair in the room. Literally small things that didn’t really hamper our stay, but would have been nice extra.

I’ve been staying in cheap hotels part of the week for work since moving out of London about a year ago and have stayed in some ok places and some real dives (Not looking at you Forest Gate Hotel…) The Amhurst is easily the best of the lot so far. It was super clean, the owner was really friendly and it was generally cozy. Top marks. Bonus tip: ten minute walk away is a chip van that does the best fish and chips in London! (Find it on Google Maps)

Upon arrival staff were friendly and helpful, ensured we knew how to use the main entrance access, how to get support from staff if required and showed us the shared kitchen facilities and the rear garden which are all available for guests. We had booked a room with private bathroom and the shower was spacious with a good temperature and pressure. The room was compact but had all you needed for a short stay including hanging rails and tea & coffee facilities. It was located in a quiet neighbourhood a short walk from the Seven Sisters overground, a sainsburys local a few minutes away and also regular bus services. Great WiFi connection. Perfect for what we needed

Only a couple of minor points - tv had poor signal but we were only going to use it for background noise so this was not a real issue and we didn’t seek out staff help with this. Extra pillows would have been welcomed. One other thing that could be helpful would be an additional mirror or the bathroom one being slightly lower as I had to tiptoe to look in when sorting my contact lenses etc.
