Beautiful country house set in picturesque grounds, all areas are well decorated and maintained and spotlessly clean. When we visited there were log fires lit which was added to the cosy and comfortable atmosphere. The bedrooms are spacious, beautifully decorated and well maintained and so clean. Tea and coffee facilities and fresh water supplied in the room. The evening meal we had was delicious, plenty of choice on the menu and the same at breakfast. What makes Kilworth stand out is the staff - every single member of staff are welcoming, friendly and pleasant. The level of customer care is exceptional. Second time of visiting and we will return.

Kilworth House is an amazing place to stay. The hotel is a beautiful historic building which has been preserved and looked after with amazing attention to detail. It is also situated in a tranquil setting with lovely gardens and grounds. We were looked after from the moment we arrived with a very warm welcome from the Kilworth house team. Our room was spacious and very comfortable overlooking the courtyard garden. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and all the facilities in the room worked well. The Wifi seemed fine throughout the hotel but we did not try to stream video.
There is very little to not like about Kilworth House even for the most decerning traveller. My only slight frustration was not being able to get service in the beautiful residents lounge on Saturday evening at 10:30 PM. I think this was likely due to theatre event at the hotel and the Kilworth Team seemed busy managing the exit of the the Theatre guests. We waited for 25 minutes to try and order a nightcap and gave up in the end. We did prompt the reception team that we were waiting but nobody still turned up to take our order. I am assuming that this was just unfortunate timing as the service seemed generally very attentive during our stay.

beautiful interior and grounds, spotlessly clean.
While this might seem a minor issue, the coffee served at breakfast in individual cafetieres was warm rather than hot. I asked for fresh coffee made with freshly boiled water but the waitress advised that morning coffee came from a central source and that an individual pot could not be made. The tea was lovely and hot but not the coffee! So much so that we ended up going to McDonalds each morning for our morning coffee 😆 The toast served was also very lightly toasted but despite asking two days in a row for well toasted bread, this remained unchanged. Small issue to some but disappointing for us. Apart from that a lovely stay.

Very nice indeed. Impressive building and grounds. Very pleasant staff. Room was comfortable, clean and quiet. Room service was prompt and the food served was excellent.
Obtaining a drink at the 'bar' was absurdly difficult being table service only. Why no bar??. The business model would seem to be wedding and other functions which I could believe they could do very well but as a paying guest not part of any function the facilities are minimal and mostly hidden. I am concerned you forget a hotel is more than the building.

The hotel was well maintained, had period features, was comfortable and had great outside spaces. We ate dinner and breakfast in the orangery which was lovely. The food was nice, and the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. There was plenty of parking, extensive grounds to walk around if you wished and the outdoor theatre was a five-minute walk through the grounds. A couple of golf carts were there to ferry people back and forth if you didn’t want to or struggled to walk. The theatre had a bar, toilets and for a £1 you could borrow a blanket for the night while watching the show.
I booked the accommodation, theatre and dinner separately not knowing that I could have booked a package that would have given me the first night’s accommodation, theatre tickets and pre-theatre dinner for considerably less than I paid in the end. So something to look out for if you want to do more than just stay the night.

The whole experience was outstanding. Check in was quick ( and special thanks to Lee for all your help), hotel and grounds are beautiful, beds are so comfy with pillows to die for, meal in the wonderful orangery was lovely and good value and to top it all the theatre was just amazing. We had a fantastic time for my friends 60th birthday.
Drinks are very pricey. Breakfast was a disaster. Service was dreadful. I'd read other reviews on this and thought they'd have got their act together by now. There was no table set for us. We waited 25 mins for our hot drinks to arrive. We were told they were under staffed but it seemed like the staff were just standing around. The cold buffet needed restocking.- when we arrived there were no croissants and no fruit left and we heard lots of guests asking them to replenish. This needs some attention as although we weren't in a rush, we did leave saying what a shame that breakfast did not live up to the standards of the rest of our experience.

First impression of the reception and public areas was excellent with a luxurious and welcoming vibe. Staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. Our room was very nicely decorated. The bathroom looked like it had been recently decorated and was spotless. The breakfast served in the conservatory restaurant was excellent with large continental style buffet with good choice of fruit and cereals. Hot breakfast cooked to order. Plenty of tea and coffee on offer from the attentive staff. We also enjoyed the evening show held in the conservatory, a tribute act with very good 3 course meal booked separately.
Hard to think of anything!

A beautiful building with a lot of attention to detail in the decor (it was a joy just to walk down the corridors). The staff were incredibly polite and accommodating and the food in 'The Orangery' was sublime. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay; slept and ate well, and enjoyed the surrounding grounds with beautiful flowers and a herd of friendly cows!
The hotel could have benefited from a dog in the lobby, this hotel would suit a dog. Only joking, we have absolutely no complaints. This hotel is exceptional.

Everything! Lovely, lovely hotel and staff were superb. Welcoming, warm, comfortable, and loved the little touches. Enjoyed the Neil Diamond tribute band, and the evening was well planned. The meal was very good, especially when you note they were catering for well over 100. Breakfast was cooked to order and just such a wonderful setting and start to the day. We will be back!
Everything was super.

The hotel as a whole is beautiful, very clean and lovely attention to detail. I would have preferred a memory foam mattress rather than sprung but it was still very comfortable. Staff could not have been more attentive, professional and accommodating.
The food in general was quite average. Lunch was good but dinner was not great and breakfast was quite poor - food that had clearly not been cooked from fresh and fruit was not fresh.
