The breakfast was excellent. Elizabeth used local, fresh food where possible and made her own dishes, resulting in a lovely, tasty breakfast. The location was also a big plus. Only a short distance from the airport yet quiet and peaceful. Close to Antrim and Crumlin. Would definitely recommend this place to friends and would stay there again.

The shower over the bath could be challenging to some guests.

Always a warm welcome. Breakfast is excellent with home cooked bread and plenty of choice in a cosy room around a dining table so a chance to chat to fellow guests. Rooms are clean and comfortable and beautifully decorated. There is a great view of Lough Neagh from the bedroom window. Although not far from the airport we were not disturbed by aircraft noise. It is also fairly convenient for the ferry.

Everything! Our room was spacious, very comfortable and beautiful. The beds were very comfortable and the breakfast lovely. The view from our window was breathtaking. Elizabeth is a charming host. It was so easy to get to the airport for our morning flight. We will definitely return to Bay Cottage.

Absolutely nothing.

We had two lovely days in this beautiful little room with lake view! Elizabeth was so friendly, gave us great Tipps for sightseeing tours and made a great breakfast, including the tastiest soda bread! 🙂 we can highly recommend to stay some nights here.

We would have loved to cuddle the two cute Dogs a little more but we understand of course that the dogs belong to the privacy of the family 😁☺️

Elizabeth is a fantastic host. Her breakfast is so delicious and she puts so much work and detail in preparation, serving and the quality of the food. Her home made brown bread was super delicious. Its a very generous breakfast with a great variety of choices. The setting is brilliant, so interesting of old drawings, artefacts and personal photos. Everything is put together with much love for the aesthetics and history. Moreover, Elizabeth took the time to answer all our questions and gave us great advise for our journey. Her cat Chester is lovely. From our window we could see the lake and she even has binoculars in the room for wild life watching. The room was cosy.

Lovely location. Elizabeth was a fantastic host and we enjoyed a great breakfast every morning. Some of my family stayed in the Apartment and found that very comfortable also.

The breakfast was most enjoyable espedcially the homemade bread. And Elisabeth was a most pleasant host. We would certainly return if we decided to have another holiday in Ireland.

Not a lot !

Loved the location although you need transport as the taxis are a little pricy. The host was lovely & attended to everything. Breakfast was wonderful with lots of homemade food to tempt you.

The weather could have been better

The owners Elizabeth and Norman gave me a lift in their car from their Bay Cottage at 7.30am on Saturday, 18/06/2022 to templepatrick. This was a big bonus to me, as i couldnt get a taxi driver to collect me. Thank you very much. I will remember this.

It is difficult to get around without your own transport, yet, i didnt mind walking. Also their is only one bar which is nearby to Bay Cottage. Suggestion, to hire bikes, so that guests could go sight seeing throughout their vocation.

The room with a view was wonderful. The breakfast even more. Elizabeth served us every morning a different kind of home baked bread, fresh fruits, cooked breakfast… nothing was to much for her. We highly recommend this B&B. Raf & Marijke
