We loved the location which is walking distance to several stunning beaches - our favourites were Lusty Glaze and Tolcarne. The hosts were welcoming and accomodating and cooked a lovely breakfast each morning. They were so friendly and helpful, and even allowed my son to borrow a body board which was the highlight of his week. Our room was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed and more. It was great to have a parking space right outside which meant we could walk to the beach and into town without the hassle of finding and paying for parking. Overall a really perfect stay and we would definitely stay here again in the future.

Everything was perfect, from the check in to the check out. We met Agnes when checking in and we felt like we were meeting an old friend. Very relaxed and easy going and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and freshly cooked for when we arrived at the breakfast table. Greeted by Agnus as we arrived. We then met Ghani while finishing breakfast who also was lovely and friendly. Agnus and Ghani just have a way about them that makes everyone feel at ease and welcome. Nothing too much for them. Fridges in room. Fresh milk on tap, in fridge in reception area if more is needed and a special coffee machine. Tea and coffee and kettle also in your room. They have thought of everything for your comfort.

Brilliant stay :) We have just returned from a 3night stay here, and I can happily say we would definitely return. Agnes and Ghani were very welcoming,bubbly and very attentive. Nothing was too much of a ask, whenever we requested anything it was no trouble at all. Agnes was available all the time, and gave us some good recommendations for places to visit. The rooms were high standard and clean , the bed was so comfy and we slept well. The location was great and for the price we paid I think it was definitely worth every penny. The breakfast was delicious,high quality produce and great service. .  Hope to return in the near future.... :)

The only downfall was the parking as it had tight spaces to get in and out (with a full car park). There is  free street parking available around the corner, which we used a couple of times and found that was useful...but this didn't ruin the experience. Bathroom was a little snug,and the sink was very small but for the space they had to work with,they have done a great job and had everything we needed.

From the moment we booked this guesthouse the communication was excellent. The hosts did their best to ensure we made the most of the time we had & were incredibly accommodating. We had the warmest welcome from Agnes on arrival, she couldn’t have been more helpful. Our rooms were very clean and comfortable, we had tea and coffee facilities, everything you could ask for. The cooked breakfast was delicious, high praise from my teenage sons who said the scrambled eggs were perfect. That is high praise indeed. This guesthouse is within easy walking distance to the local beaches, and a 15 minute walk into Newquay. We’ve had the best trip - Agnes and her husband played a big part in its success.

Everything! The b&b was lovely, our room was perfect, had all the amenities, the bed was out of this world comfy! Location was good, the lovely beaches of tolcarne and lusty glaze are 15 and 10 min walk respectively, Newquay town no more than 30 min walk. On site parking 👌 breakfast was delicious. But above all, our hosts, Agnes and Ghani, make this trip. I’d seen them mentioned in other reviews, and I see why now. They are the best! Amazing hosts. So fun and funny, super attentive, nothings too much trouble, very interesting people, easy to talk to, they’re great. Agnes even rang ahead at the surf school for us to check we could get a lesson. They know all the best places to go, just perfect hosts and people. Thank you so much guys, we can’t wait to visit again and catch up!

Nothing to not like

Everything about the stay was perfect. Agnes and Ghani are lovely people who couldn’t have helped us more. They had lots of great recommendations about places to visit in Cornwall which enhanced our holiday. The breakfast was great, freshly cooked for each guest exactly as requested. The room far exceeded our expectations, it was a great size and was really well decorated. The location of the guesthouse was great for us, it was about a 5 minute walk to a cliffside view, and about 10-15 minute walk into the centre of Newquay, so the area around the guesthouse was quiet but it was still close to everything you could want.

Nothing, everything was great.

Our hosts are the nicest people! Agnes and her husband made our stay so enjoyable. They are friendly, cheerful, funny and positive. They went out of their way to "veganize" our breakfast while seeking our feedback. Breakfast was delicious and they expressed that they were interested in having vegan options in the future.

The bathroom, though clean and functional, was quite compact. Though the location is walking distance to the coast, it's also on the main avenue, so there was a lot of traffic getting to it.

Heaven, if it exists anywhere is right in this place. A beautiful home created by a wonderful couple, where with every step you see the owner’s love and respect for the guests and this lovely place. Our en-suite studio was very spacious, with all the amenities that you need, a fantastic bed and a very comfortable mattress. From early morning, smiling and friendly owners greet guests and serve a delicious breakfast. During this time both willingly talked to everyone, and a family atmosphere was as if we had known each other for many years. On the first day at breakfast, They told us about all the attractions in this area and even showed us on the map how to get there. After breakfast, they sent a message to us, with the opening hours of those worth visiting places. We have not encountered such professional service even in large hotels. Another plus of this place is also the spacious car park and the location of the guest house, just minutes from the town centre, beautiful beaches, pubs, restaurants and all the local attractions.

Agnes and her husband were excellent hosts, so friendly and welcoming and made us feel at home. The breakfast was fantastic, good choice and cooked fresh. They showed interest in what we were doing to offer any advice or local information we would not have known otherwise. The room was clean and comfortable and in a brilliant location just a few minutes walk from Tolcarne beach. We thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely return.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The hosts Ghani and Agnes were exceptional and very knowledgeable of the local area. The room was lovely and clean and spacious. Breakfast was incredible and a Gluten Free option was presented for my partner every day of our stay. Would recommend this property highly to any future guests and we ourselves would stay here again if we ever returned to Newquay.

There was nothing to dislike. The hosts were incredible along with the food.
