Lovely pub with rooms. Our room was large with en-suite & though a little dated & tired it was fine & good value for money. The food was exceptional, a large choice & home cooked which couldn't be faulted. Breakfast was also delicious, would have been nice to have had some fruit and not just cereal & toast afterwards. But it was superbly cooked, presented & was delicious. The staff were exceptional in every way.
I was asked to confirm payment which I didn't like & have never been asked before, which I believe is a booking.com policy. The bathroom smelt a little fusty & the tv didn't work properly.

The Parson Woodforde is a lovely pub in Weston Longville about a 20 minute drive from Norwich. Our double room with ensuite was quite compact but still very comfortable. The angled ceilings with skylights made the room feel very spacious and it was nice we could open the skylights to let some fresh air in, as the room was quite toasty. It was nice having our own ensuite and we enjoyed the hot shower. The pub itself is full of old english character and is very comfy and cosy. The breakfast was excellent and the dining menu is not your regular pub fare. All three nights of our stay we ate at the pub and believe you would be hard pressed to find a better place to eat. The staff were lovely, very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend if you are in the Norwich area and want an old english pub experience, definitely worth a stay.

We were greeted on arrival by a very friendly chap, we later found out was named Owen. He's a very lively chap and goes out of his way to make you feel important, which made us feel comfortable. The room was quite small, but spotlessly clean, the bed was one of the most comfortable we've had in a B&B and we had a restful sleep. The area is beautiful and on the edge of a lovely hamlet with far reaching views, only a 20 minute drive into Norwich for the shopping. We ate here on our first night and were delighted with the quality of the food. I had fish and chips, both were piping hot and using really quality ingredients. Jill had Lamb shank, which unfortunately, she couldn't finish as it was too much for her. We couldn't eat a second course, even though I was tempted by it. Breakfast was the same high quality standard and I did think at the time, how lucky this pub was to have such a talented chef. I met with the landlady later that day and found out that the chef was her husband who had worked abroad and that they had been running the pub only since June 2024 and that she only had limited experience of working in the sharp end of the trade. I was amazed really, as the atmosphere within the pub is relaxing and welcoming and all the staff are warm and friendly. A special place with people who have a gift in customer satisfaction. We stayed a second night, and we both again slept well and will definitely be booking a stay again. Thank you for a very special weekend, it meant a lot to us and we look forward to visiting again soon.
Nothing, it was fantastic.

The staff were very helpful. There was plenty of parking. My room was of a good size with a comfortable bathroom. I dined very well in the restaurant, enjoying the king prawn bruschetta starter and the venison main. There was a good selection of beers. I didn't try the wines. The Belgian chocolate ice-cream was excellent. In the morning I had the cooked breakfast. I couldn't believe how big it was. Not just one slice of bacon, one sausage and one egg! I hope to come back here again one day!
I would have preferred a more rigid mattress but maybe others would not. I also found the bathroom a little cool but managed to turn the radiator on. Nothing to worry about.

The location was perfect for my needs. I arrived just before the restaurant was closing after a 5hr drive. The staff welcomed me and told me not to worry about rushing as they'd happily serve me. I ended up having venison which was stunning! Lovely rural setting, close to where I needed to be in the morning. Each member of staff that I interacted with was superb. Couldn't fault any element of my stay.
Nothing at all. Everything was as you'd hope for. A lovely clean room, very attentive and friendly staff and exceptional food.

Excellent communication before arrival and the best welcome ever. Allyson is a brilliant hostess and it's clear the staff are happy, which makes such a difference as a guest. Everyone from bar staff, waiters and waitresses, room service were all so thoughtful and helpful. Very attractive room, plentiful teas and coffees ( a contrast to some places which are stingy). Plus plentiful toiletries. Comfortable bed, delicious evening meal (the fish pie was perfect). One of our party has a food allergy and the attention to detail, even providing a menu indicating what was safe / not safe to order, means that person could be totally relaxed. It makes such a difference. Ample, beautifully cooked breakfast. Thank you everyone for such a brilliant stay.

This property I would describe as a upmarket contractors hotel. Staff were excellent, professional, friendly, very competent and well trained. Rooms were clean and comfortable, shower was good which is important to contractors. Also ample parking plenty of room for large Van's although access roads narrow. Convenient for Norwich. Evening meal good, had liver and bacon not as good as my mums but what is. Breakfast was good. Overall good value.
Nothing really but I'm not one to look for loose human hair, cobwebs or spiders. I dare say if I looked hard enough I could find fault but I've got better things to do.

Our rooms were spotlessly clean with all the expected facilities which included a well stocked tea tray, bottled water and a dressing table mirror that could be moved to a suitable place, a solution to my usual gripe about mirrors and sockets never being together! The beds were so comfy with a duvet like a warm cloud. The staff, without exception, were friendly and helpful, led by the lovely owner who served breakfast with a smile and good humour. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast during our stay, all fresh ingredients, and delicious.
Nothing, our stay was excellent

Booked for my dad for his birthday and he had a fabulous time and even stayed another night. They said the staff were fantastic and the food was brilliant especially the Sticky Toffee Pudding which he had twice. Everyone was so friendly.
The only little thing I would say was I had booked them a King Room overlooking the garden - they were looking onto a roof with some plastic pigeons I think they were from the picture I was sent. Saying that the room was very clean which is the main thing.

Room was very clean with a comfortable bed and lovely hot shower. The added little extras including tea, biscuits and bottled water in the room was very nice and quite unexpected considering the cost of the room. The breakfast was fantastic with vegan and veggie options and staff were happy to modify according to personal preferences. There was actually an issue with the room booked and the staff called to inform us before we arrived that was most appreciated. We will be returning in the future!
Room lacked windows except for skylights which was quite warm on a hot summer night. Otherwise everything was very nice.
