Breakfast was really good plenty of it nice and hot

Lift not working so had to carry our suitcase up 2 flights of stairs Parking was not good as two lone women arriving at night and going to various places and arriving back in the dark we had to park quite a distance from the hotel we saw quite a few people using the car park going into the David Lloyd gym and not the hotel but the floor said hotel parking that really put us off as we didn’t feel safe

The welcome was excellent and all was ready. The room was clean and well presented. Car parking for guests was good, and free.

We were asked if an electrician could access our room to change the batteries in the electronic door release - this should have been done before our arrival! In the room itself the bed was too close to the wall window side and there was no drawer space.

The fact that the windows were unopenable and were designed that way. we always sleep with a window slightly open that allows fresh air into our bedroom, Although there apparently was air conditioning this was not suitable to us and I regret to say I would not stop here again simply because of that fact.

The room was almost clean, there were cobwebs on the ceiling, drink marks on the shelf under the tv. The toilet was badly stained and scuffed. Needs replaceing. The shower drain was partially out of the floor which was a trip hazard even more so for a disabled room. Other than that the beds were comfy and sheets clean. Kettle clean and empty, mirrors spotless... I thought one was another room haha. Bar prices were good but limited on choice. Considering it was a Saturday they had ran out of cider and cordials. Food in the restaurant was basic but tatsy and good value.

Overall I liked everything... just picked up on some small things that irritated me but I have ocd. There was no light near the only mirror in the room and no plug... made 3 women straightening their hair super difficult.

Price and location. Basic breakfast was included which was useful. Parking was also included. There was food available in the evenings but again very basic. The staff were all really lovely and were happy to help. Housekeeping was very conscientious and keen to service room/change towels daily which I don’t feel is always necessary.

The rooms are being refurbished so they may be better - currently no drawers for clothes, no hook near the shower to hang a robe ( the hook was in the separate loo cubicle) The cooked breakfast was very basic. I would have paid a little more for mushrooms, tomatoes, hash browns, better bacon and wider choice generally. The pool and gym are not included. Pay £10 for a day pass.at the next door leisure club. And you can’t view the facilities at the club beforehand.

There was a very good choice of food for breakfast and plenty of choice of seating. The staff were extremely helpful on our early arrival and put our luggage in a secure room until we returned later that day. In the evening the staff were also friendly, helpful and professional. The bed was comfortable and clean. The room was a good size. There was ample seating in the lounge area in the evening, though not extremely comfortable the seating was acceptable for the amount of time we spent there. The check in system for car parking was easy and there was ample parking space within very close walking distance.

There was a musty smell in the corridor on the first floor when we walked through to get to our room. The bedroom door needed to be slammed when we left the room in order to close it securely. This could have disturbed other customers.

In a ideal spot about two miles outside of Norwich centre. You can catch a regular bus into the centre. No need to drive in. Rooms lovely and spacious. Great choice for breakfast. Great pub close by. All the staff were very helpful and friendly. Would use again.

Everything it was exceptionally clean and tidy ! The smell was beautiful as you walk in the hotel the room was soooo tidy and spacious loads of room in the family room for me and my two children the bathroom was lovely good choice on the menu for breakfast and dinner very close to supermarket and a McDonald's very good staff all of them made you feel so warm with there welcome my eldest who is 5 was delighted with the staff interacting with him and asking how he's day was he was loving the socialness of them! The chef was very playful with the kids also waving to them at the window 10/10 for hospitality! Cannot fault them

The lift was a little slow and dated but it wasn't anything awful!

Clean, comfortable and both staff on our arrival and departure were excellent (especially the young man who was training)

No cash transactions could be taken ! This we didn't like at all ! Using covid as an excuse not to take cash is, in our opinion, ludicrous. Never in our 60 years have we ever heard of anyone catching a disease or virus from cash.

Good location. Newly decorated and clean room, windows h just the en-suite needing attention (apparently these are being done soon) nothing major though. Friendly staff. Quiet. Breakfast is buffet style - which we liked - and slightly more limited than some places, but well presented area and the food was hot and tasty. It was perfectly sufficient to set us up for the day ahead :)

We had two rooms - the one at the end of the building smelled a little musty/damp initially. We put the heating up high for an hour or so and that seemed to dry it out and clear the air.
