Nice, clean comfortable room. Larger TV than one would usually expect in a hotel room and it had a sofa bed too, which we didn’t need or use as a bed but meant we had a very comfortable sofa to sit on rather than the usual occasional chair, desk chair or bed (all present as well of course). Mattress was a little soft for my own personal taste but everything else in the room very good. There is also a petrol garage next door, no undue noise but it meant that any forgotten items or extras could be easily purchased from the Coop attached to it.

Room was a little warm but there was a fan portable fan in the room.

Room was very spacious and very clean. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was a good choice of food for breakfast.

The water from the taps is dangerously hot, and gets to this point extremely quickly. The bathroom floor is extremely slippery, our children kept slipping over, the baby even fell and hit her head. The rooms are a bit scruffy. The shower was very strange, it was very powerful which is good but the shower head made the water painful! The radiators also make some very strange noises.

Booked a low cost room not expecting to be in it much but it was in the perfect location. Turns out the stay was terrific in every way. Staff couldn’t have done more to be helpful and friendly, room was huge, clean, quiet, warm, comfy and enormous bed, and well equipped with everything I needed. Breakfast was good, couldn’t fault anything. And free wi-fi! I mean, what’s not to like? Shall definitely return. Incredible value

Decor a little dated but very clean and well maintained and it felt like a well loved property

Excellent value for money, food very good and great value for money. Room was also very good value for money. The only criticism was that it was a little shabby, room needed a new carpet and several things were in need of some repair but this did not affect our stay.

Could have done with more tea/coffee and milk sachets, however when requested were given some more with no problem. Reception staff were friendly but could have been more smartly dressed!

This place was such a great base for our trip to Henley. The beds were so comfy, staff very friendly and helpful and the breaky was fabulous! Really nice beer gladden outside and we were lucky to have great weather during our stay. The rooms are not 4 star accommodation, they are basic but have all you require, and are very clean and comfortable, and that's what matters! We will defo be back :)

The headboard was bit tatty so I can see how that would be a bit off-putting for folk - so possibly wee renew of these - but otherwise cant fault it for the money!

The room was a good size and was quiet. The included breakfast was very nice and there was a good choice of meals in the restaurant which wasn't overpriced.

Bathroom was a little tired with a loose bath handle and the toilet didn't always flush properly and took ages to refill. Tea and coffee making facilities were alright but not enough sachets and no decaf, although I could probably have got some from reception. There weren't any mushrooms with the breakfast on the second morning which was disappointing.

The staff were very friendly, whenever I spoke to someone. They were helpful and polite and always ready to help.. The room was a little old but very clean, as was the bathroom. Food at the bar was tasty and hot and very reasonably priced. Would definitely stay again.

The hairdryer didn't work, and the shower kept changing from hot to cold on whatever setting I chose. Also, someone opened the door to my room in the evening. I still don't know if it was a member of staff. It was a bit worrying, seeing I'm a woman travelling on my own.

Rooms were comfortable at a reasonable temperature. Nice clean sheets and bathroom facilities good. Breakfast choices were excellent with a good range of options available.

Rooms were in need of redecoration and some of the furniture could with replacing as chairs wer ripped and thredbare and bedside unit had a piece of the veneer broken off. Also the bath needed resealing as a little mould could be seen. Otherwise , overall the rooms were nice.

A full weekend stay this time , as always ( as a multiple customer ) always a great stay , staff always friendly & helpful . Had several meals on site at the Hungry Horse all were excellent & great value always deals on. The breakfast was great also which made a good start to the day. I highly recommend the Horseshoe Doughnut desert..!! Looking forward again to my next visit soon. Thanks to Natalie, Debbie & all the staff , Debbie I'll bring a bib for my desert next time after my Candymania ;)) See you soon ..

The Hotel is located adjacent to a service station so re-fuelling your car is both close and convenient. The reception staff were polite and helpful. We stayed in a double room which was spacious cosy and warm and very pleasantly decorated. There was a good selection of tea and coffee, supplemented with milk sugar and sweetener. The bed was exceedingly comfortable and the bedding was spotless. The restaurant afforded diners plenty of room and was well serviced by the staff.

We arrived for breakfast at about 915 am and ordered the Full English. It was awful!. Disappointingly, nearly all the components were dry and overcooked; I would guess that the breakfasts had been stood on the pass for way too long before serving. My advice would be to attend early if you intend to enjoy a Cooked breakfast However, on a brighter note, the Continental breakfast we had the following morning was excellent - lots of choice of things to eat and a great selection of juices, teas and coffee.
