Arrived ahead of check in time however room all ready and available. Friendliness of staff was genuine plus very happy to assist with any questions. Were lucky to get a room upgrade with sea view - room stunning plus underfloor heating in bathroom always a bonus !! Enjoyed afternoon drinks before dinner in one of the restaurants - food fresh, very warm and tasty. Relaxed atmosphere and a very welcoming feel. Cracking night's sleep in a very comfortable and large bed followed by really tasty breakfast in morning. Nothing was too much trouble, loved the venue, staff and food plus room perfect - so much so my good lady already looking at dates when we can book a return visit !! Thank you.

The food at breakfast was great, plenty to choose from and the buffet style was great as you could pick and choose and go back as many times as you liked. The room sizes were great, nice and big and spacious. There was also a menu on the table at breakfast which you could choose from if you wished.

The access to the back of the hotel was very very poorly lit in the evening, yes there were low lights on the walk way, but at the sliding doors there was no lighting whatsoever, we were there with my dad and I definitely would not let him walk in and out of those back doors in the evening, at some points when walking through the door, you couldn't even see you feet, so it was a bad trip hazard waiting to happen. We did highlight to a manager who thanked us for our feedback.

The warm welcome we received on arrival from Edward at the front desk. The complimentary bottle of Prosecco in our bedroom for my husband's birthday. The voucher for 2 free drinks. The incredible variety of food available at breakfast. The polished, helpful demeanour of all staff we encountered. The menthol smell in the steam room. The clean pool. The comfortable beds. The fact that the majority of our fellow guests appeared to be as happy and relaxed as we were.

The coffee at breakfast - just a small thing, but real filter coffee would have been great, We felt the spa booking system could perhaps be automated rather than having to make a phone call.

I The bedroom was large and had an excellent view of the sea. Lots of cupboard space. Huge television. Quiet. Well mannered staff.

I strongly object that men were allowed to wear caps in the dining areas. This is unforgivable in a restaurant. It is so rude. The head waiter should have told the men to remove their caps before being escorted to a table. It is very bad mannered. When foreigners visit a country they should follow the etiquette of that country. It was the American and Canadian men. No British man would even dream of so doing.

We stayed here for my husbands 40th birthday treat just the 2 of us and it was amazing.. the room was gorgeous, staff so polite and accommodating. The small extras they provided to make his stay even more special was muchly appreciated. We had a meal at kittocks and it was superb, as were the cocktails! Special shout to Josh whom handled our communications before we arrived and to Sam for his service through dinner. The spa was lovely and clean, and facilities on offer great. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return soon!

It's not a complaint but if you are looking for a quiet swim or jacuzzi the pool is where the families and children are. Maybe if an allocated time for family use was on offer also?

Exceptional interior design and spotlessly clean. Lights are dimmed at night and music is shut off which leads to an intimate and relaxing atmosphere. (It also means that this place is an oasis for people with sensory considerations). The staff are exceptional. Upon arrival the doorman opened the door for us and offered assistance with our bags. He then waited with us until we checked-in, even preventing another couple from skipping us when they inadvertently cut the queue for the reception (all of the doormen were great and they were keen to remind us of the shuttle service and to offer any assistance every time we left the hotel, offering help with carrying anything from our car when we were coming and going). This set the tone for the rest of the staff going forward, nothing seemed too much for any member of staff and they almost seemed disappointed when we didn’t need anything! You can’t walk past a staff member without a pleasant greeting and an offer of assistance. Even the facilities and cleaning staff are sure to give a pleasant greeting and ask how you are enjoying your stay. We also opted for the breakfast. Plenty of variety and the food was hot and tasty. The meats (bacon/sausage etc.) were also of a good quality. The in room dining food was also very tasty, we tried this on one night and it was delivered promptly and contained good portions. The wrong drinks were delivered, however I called back and the correct drinks were delivered to the door within a couple of minutes. Overall a very relaxing hotel with exceptional service.

We were looking forward to the sports bar but it was closed due to the low season.

I have stayed twice a few times over the years and I thought the prices were very high, asking for £12 for a tiny jar of peanuts and £15 for a glass of wine in a very cheap wine glass is asking alot especially in a cost of living crisis. We enjoyed a spa treatment which we loved and staff were lovely. But £110 a treatment and to add 10% on top for tip is a bit much so £240 for a couple 50min massage is very expensive.

We have been repeat guests several times a year since the hotel opened. Spacious, modern but warm and welcoming. Excellent breakfast as always. Ideal location and easy access into the town. Our favourite hotel. Great concierge team.

Being told our room was not ready (which we expected as we arrived early) but then offered the opportunity to pay for an upgrade and we could have instant access! Due to the time of our visit, we already knew the hotel was at less than 25% capacity and rooms were obviously available as we were directed to the lounge to wait - then 10 minutes later our room was miraculously available!! Really no need to push guests to feel they must upgrade the minute they arrive after a 5 hour journey! We had several issues with the room (lovely and spacious) but the TV and bedside lights were faulty. Reported more than once and never got repaired. No evening turn downs or bathroom items replenished. Air con was never sorted as it had a mind of its own!

We felt so well looked after. The guest services and food were second to none. We felt like we received a warm family welcome from the moment we pulled up at the door. Florian was the first to greet us, assisting with unloading our luggage to the trolley and sorting the valet parking of our car. From there, check-in was a breeze. Having got our room keys, arriving at our room with Florian's guidance and assistance was delightful. He unloaded our luggage to the room, offering a luggage rack if we required one, and pointed out some features of our room to ensure our stay was comfortable and without any complications. He took particular care to point out to our son where all of the tech charging points were. He left us with a feeling of genuine care. The welcoming box of chocolates was delightful with its golf theme and tasty. Due to a motorcycle accident in August, I needed an accessible room for showering. The accessible bathroom still felt luxurious rather than utilitarian. My wife and son still felt pampered with the facilities.

The beds were too firm for our personal preference, but that's not the fault of the hotel. In hindsight, we should have asked for a mattress pillow topper, which may have resolved our comfort issues.
