Breakfast was superb and also the 3 evening meals. Love the location with the small lake and especially the peacocks, guinea fowl and assorted hens. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was very clean.

Only 2 very minor things-there were only 4 hangers, though I would think we could have asked for more;we would have preferred a kettle to the Brita water heating machine. It took us a little while to work it out!

The Room was lovely, relatively small but spotlessly clean, very comfy bed with high quality bedding. Bathroom all worked well and good quality toiletries provided There were some really nice touches like the communal honesty bar and the smart speaker in the room. The highlight of our stay at Turtley was the food, which is simply outstanding, both dinner and breakfast. And they serve excellent beer ! The staff are also terrific, nothing is too much trouble.

The hotel is in a beautiful setting, the rooms are spacious, stylish and well equipped, and the staff go out of their way to make sure you are comfortable, well fed and happy. Just the right balance of formal hospitality and a warm, friendly home-from-home vibe. We loved it! We were a group of seven in the area for a wedding and the hotel was a perfect base. We had two great dinners there and our three breakfasts were oustanding. The roaming peacocks are an added bonus!

We honestly have nothing negative to say about the hotel. Superb value for money.

Everything was very nice, location, hotel, room, comfy bed, bath & shower, tea making facilities, staff and service, cleanliness. Breakfast usual cooked English, with choices.

Evening meal disappointing. It's not a "foodie" place. It would be lovely if they did good food then everything would be perfect. A microwaved Fish pie with frozen peas is not what you go out to dinner for.

Everything from start to finish. The greeting was friendly and informative. We had intended to only eat a couple of times through the week in the restaurant, but after the first meal that idea soon went out of the window. We ended up eating there every night and did not regret doing that. Even the Breakfast was superb. The staff were excellent, everyone having a smile one their faces and We do mean everyone. What more can be said, but WOW,WOW,WOW, To also be serenaded each night by a Peacock who was missing his partner (as she went off every night to tend her eggs). Because of the bed comfort, we did not lose too much sleep.

Nothing at all.

The staff were exceptional, very well trained and worked as a team. We were welcomed warmly and throughout they were unobtrusively attentive. The mill is in a lovely setting, beautifully kept up, both the gardens and the house, although the road is a bit noisy. The free-range ducks and peacocks were delightful. The dining room was tasteful with nice rugs on the wooden floor.

Our room was much smaller than anticipated, so you had to lie on the bed to watch television - no room for a sofa. The bathroom was even more cramped, so much so that there wasn’t even room to put a wash bag. Although there was a lot of choice in the breakfast menu, I would have preferred less sugar, ie, muesli without added sugar. The dinner was disappointing - I had spiced pork, but it was altogether mediocre. Altogether I think the stay was over-priced for the accommodation provided.

the food was delicious and the decor was very nice all the staff where very attentive and the rear outside seating area was lovely our room was beautiful if a little small

personally there was very little I didn’t like some people would find the peacocks a bit noisy especially early morning I would advise earplugs because it is certainly a place to visit

The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast choice was good and delicious. The dinner menu was varied, well cooked, presented and the service was attentive without being intrusive. We loved seeing the bird life wander around the grounds.

I am hard pressed to think of anything to put here.

Checking in was a breeze. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. We liked the fact that there was a fridge in the corridor for fresh milk and teabags. Good selection of cereals, fruits and hot food available at breakfast. We had a nice evening meal for our wedding anniversary. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The peacocks were occasionally noisy at night.

The staff were amazing, nothing was too much trouble and they were friendly and helpful. The food was very good, lots to choose from and very good portions. The room was light, airy and very comfortable

Another quieter, public area would have been nice.
